⁴der uns tröstet in all unsrer Trübsal, auf daß wir die trösten können, welche in allerlei Trübsal sind, durch den Trost, mit dem wir selbst von Gott getröstet werden.

²¹Der Gott aber, der uns samt euch für Christus befestigt und uns gesalbt hat,

²²der hat uns auch versiegelt und in unsre Herzen das Pfand des Geistes gegeben.

²³Ich berufe mich aber auf Gott als Zeugen für meine Seele, daß ich, um euch zu schonen, noch nicht nach Korinth gekommen bin.

²⁴Denn wir wollen nicht Herren sein über euren Glauben, sondern Gehilfen eurer Freude; denn ihr stehet im Glauben.
