1[] Ουτοι δε ησαν οι ιερεις και οι Λευιται, οι αναβαντες μετα του Ζοροβαβελ υιου του Σαλαθιηλ, και του Ιησου· Σεραιας, Ιερεμιας, Εσδρας,
1And these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2Αμαριας, Μαλλουχ, Χαττους,
2Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3Σεχανιας, Ρεουμ, Μερημωθ,
3Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4Ιδδω, Γιννεθω, Αβια,
4Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,
5Μιαμειν, Μααδιας, Βιλγα,
5Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6Σεμαιας και Ιωιαριβ, Ιεδαιας,
6Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7Σαλλου, Αμωκ, Χελχιας, Ιεδαιας. Ουτοι ησαν οι αρχηγοι των ιερεων και των αδελφων αυτων εν ταις ημεραις Ιησου.
7Sallu, Amok, Hilkijah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
8Οι δε Λευιται, Ιησους, Βιννουι, Καδμιηλ, Σερεβιας, Ιουδας και Ματθανιας, ο επι των υμνων, αυτος και οι αδελφοι αυτου.
8And the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, [who was] over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren;
9Ο δε Βακβουκιας και ο Ουννι, οι αδελφοι αυτων, ησαν απεναντι αυτων δια τας φυλακας.
9and Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were over against them as watches.
10Και ο Ιησους εγεννησε τον Ιωακειμ, Ιωακειμ δε εγεννησε τον Ελιασειβ, Ελιασειβ δε εγεννησε τον Ιωαδα,
10And Jeshua begot Joiakim, and Joiakim begot Eliashib, and Eliashib begot Joiada,
11Ιωαδα δε εγεννησε τον Ιωναθαν· Ιωναθαν δε εγεννησε τον Ιαδδουα.
11and Joiada begot Jonathan, and Jonathan begot Jaddua.
12Και εν ταις ημεραις του Ιωακειμ, ιερεις, αρχοντες πατριων, ησαν του Σεραια, ο Μεραιας· του Ιερεμια, ο Ανανιας·
12And in the days of Joiakim were priests, chief fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13του Εσδρα, ο Μεσουλλαμ· του Αμαρια, ο Ιωαναν·
13of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14του Μελιχου, ο Ιωναθαν· του Σεβανια, ο Ιωσηφ·
14of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15του Χαρημ, ο Αδνα· του Μεραιωθ, ο Ελκαι·
15of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16του Ιδδω, ο Ζαχαριας· του Γιννεθων, ο Μεσουλλαμ·
16of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17του Αβια, ο Ζιχρι· του Μινιαμειν, και του Μωαδια, ο Φιλται·

21του Χελκια, ο Ασαβιας· του Ιεδαια, ο Ναθαναηλ.
21of Hilkijah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.
22Οι Λευιται εν ταις ημεραις του Ελιασειβ, Ιωαδα και Ιωαναν και Ιαδδουα, ησαν καταγεγραμμενοι αρχοντες πατριων· και οι ιερεις, επι της βασιλειας Δαρειου του Περσου.
22of the Levites, the chief fathers were recorded in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, and the priests, until the reign of Darius the Persian.
23Οι υιοι του Λευι, αρχοντες των πατριων, ησαν καταγεγραμμενοι εν τω βιβλιω των Χρονικων, μαλιστα εως των ημερων του Ιωαναν υιου του Ελιασειβ.
23The children of Levi, the chief fathers, were recorded in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24Και οι αρχοντες των Λευιτων, Ασαβιας, Σερεβιας, και Ιησους ο υιος του Καδμιηλ, και οι αδελφοι αυτων απεναντι αυτων, δια να αινωσι και να υμνωσι κατα την προσταγην Δαβιδ του ανθρωπου του Θεου, φυλακη απεναντι φυλακης.
24And the chief Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise [and] to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
25Ο Ματθανιας και Βακβουκιας, Οβαδια, Μεσουλλαμ, Ταλμων, Ακκουβ, ησαν πυλωροι φυλαττοντες την φυλακην εν τοις ταμειοις των πυλων.
25Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were doorkeepers keeping the ward at the storehouses of the gates.
26Ουτοι ησαν εν ταις ημεραις του Ιωακειμ, υιου Ιησου, υιου Ιωσεδεχ, και εν ταις ημεραις Νεεμια του κυβερνητου και του ιερεως Εσδρα του γραμματεως.
26These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27[] Και εν τοις εγκαινιοις του τειχους της Ιερουσαλημ, εζητησαν τους Λευιτας απο παντων των τοπων αυτων δια να φερωσιν αυτους εις Ιερουσαλημ, να καμωσι τα εγκαινια μετ' ευφροσυνης, υμνουντες και ψαλλοντες εν κυμβαλοις, ψαλτηριοις και εν κιθαραις.
27And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to hold the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals, lutes and harps.
28Και συνηχθησαν οι υιοι των ψαλτωδων και απο της περιχωρου κυκλοθεν της Ιερουσαλημ και απο των χωριων Νετωφαθι·
28And the children of the singers were assembled, both from the plain [of Jordan] round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites,
29και απο του οικου Γιλγαλ και απο των αγρων Γεβα και Αζμαβεθ· διοτι οι ψαλτωδοι ωκοδομησαν χωρια εις εαυτους κυκλω της Ιερουσαλημ.
29also from Beth-Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth; for the singers had built themselves hamlets round about Jerusalem.
30Και εκαθαρισθησαν οι ιερεις και οι Λευιται, και εκαθαρισαν τον λαον και τας πυλας και το τειχος.
30And the priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates and the wall.
31Τοτε ανεβιβασα τους αρχοντας του Ιουδα επι το τειχος και εστησα δυο μεγαλους χορους αινουντων· ο μεν επορευετο επι τα δεξια, επι του τειχους προς την πυλην της κοπριας·
31And I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great choirs and processions, on the right hand upon the wall towards the dung-gate.
32και κατοπιν αυτων επορευοντο ο Ωσαιας και το ημισυ των αρχοντων του Ιουδα,
32And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33και ο Αζαριας, ο Εσδρας και ο Μεσουλλαμ,
33and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34ο Ιουδας και ο Βενιαμιν και ο Σεμαιας και ο Ιερεμιας·
34Judah and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35και εκ των υιων των ιερεων μετα σαλπιγγων, ο Ζαχαριας ο υιος του Ιωναθαν, υιου του Σεμαια, υιου του Ματθανια, υιου του Μιχαια, υιου του Ζακχουρ, υιου του Ασαφ·
35and [certain] of the priests' sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;
36και οι αδελφοι αυτου, Σεμαιας, και Αζαρεηλ, Μιλαλαι, Γιλαλαι, Μααι, Ναθαναηλ, και Ιουδας, Ανανι, μετα μουσικων οργανων Δαβιδ του ανθρωπου του Θεου, και Εσδρας ο γραμματευς εμπροσθεν αυτων.
36and his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe before them.
37Και επι την πυλην της πηγης και απεναντι αυτων, ανεβησαν δια των βαθμιδων της πολεως Δαβιδ εις την αναβασιν του τειχους, επανωθεν του οικου του Δαβιδ, και εως της πυλης των υδατων προς ανατολας.
37And at the fountain-gate, and over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even to the water-gate eastward.
38Ο δε αλλος χορος των αινουντων επορευετο εις το απεναντι, και εγω κατοπιν αυτων, και το ημισυ του λαου επι του τειχους, επανωθεν του πυργου των φουρνων και εως του τειχους του πλατεος.
38And the second choir went in the opposite direction upon the wall, and I after them, and the half of the people, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even to the broad wall;
39Και επανωθεν της πυλης Εφραιμ και επανωθεν της παλαιας πυλης, και επανωθεν της ιχθυικης πυλης και του πυργου Ανανεηλ και του πυργου του Μεα και εως της πυλης της προβατικης· και εσταθησαν εν τη πυλη της φυλακης.
39and from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the gate of the old [wall], and above the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even to the sheep-gate; and they stood still in the prison-gate.
40Και εσταθησαν οι δυο χοροι των αινουντων εν τω οικω του Θεου, και εγω και το ημισυ των προεστωτων μετ' εμου·
40And both choirs stood in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me;
41και οι ιερεις, Ελιακειμ, Μαασιας, Μινιαμειν, Μιχαιας, Ελιωηναι, Ζαχαριας και Ανανιας, μετα σαλπιγγων·
41and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, with trumpets;
42και Μαασιας και Σεμαιας και Ελεαζαρ και Οζι και Ιωαναν και Μαλχιας και Ελαμ και Εσερ. Και οι ψαλτωδοι υψωσαν την φωνην αυτων, μετα του Ιεζραια του επιστατου.
42and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud; and Jizrahiah was their overseer.
43Και προσεφεραν εν εκεινη τη ημερα θυσιας μεγαλας και ευφρανθησαν· διοτι ο Θεος ευφρανεν αυτους ευφροσυνην μεγαλην. Και αι γυναικες ετι και τα παιδια ευφρανθησαν· και η ευφροσυνη της Ιερουσαλημ ηκουσθη εως μακροθεν.
43And that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and also the women and the children rejoiced. And the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44[] Και εν τη ημερα εκεινη διωρισθησαν ανδρες επι των οικηματων δια τους θησαυρους, δια τας προσφορας, δια τας απαρχας και δια τα δεκατα, δια να συναγωσιν εν αυτοις απο των αγρων των πολεων τα νενομισμενα μεριδια δια τους ιερεις και Λευιτας· διοτι ο Ιουδας ευφρανθη εξ αιτιας των ιερεων και εξ αιτιας των Λευιτων των παρεστωτων.
44And at that time men were appointed over the chambers of the treasures for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions assigned by the law for the priests and the Levites; for Judah rejoiced over the priests, and over the Levites that waited.
45Και οι ψαλτωδοι και οι πυλωροι εφυλαξαν την φυλακην του Θεου αυτων και την φυλακην του καθαρισμου, κατα την προσταγην του Δαβιδ και Σολομωντος του υιου αυτου.
45And, with the singers and the doorkeepers, they kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David [and] of Solomon his son.
46Διοτι εν ταις ημεραις του Δαβιδ και του Ασαφ ησαν εξ αρχης πρωτοψαλται και ασματα αινεσεως και υμνοι προς τον Θεον.
46For of old, in the days of David and Asaph, there were the chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgivings to God.
47Και πας ο Ισραηλ εν ταις ημεραις του Ζοροβαβελ και εν ταις ημεραις του Νεεμια εδιδον τα τεταγμενα μεριδια των ψαλτωδων και των πυλωρων, κατα πασαν ημεραν· και ηγιαζον αυτα εις τους Λευιτας, και οι Λευιται ηγιαζον εις τους υιους Ααρων.
47And all Israel, in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, every day what was needed, and they consecrated things for the Levites; and the Levites consecrated for the children of Aaron.
