1[] Αινειτε τον Κυριον. Μακαριος ο ανθρωπος ο φοβουμενος τον Κυριον· εις τας εντολας αυτου ηδυνεται σφοδρα.
1Hallelujah! Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2Το σπερμα αυτου θελει εισθαι δυνατον εν τη γη· η γενεα των ευθεων θελει ευλογηθη·
2His seed shall be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Αγαθα και πλουτη θελουσιν εισθαι εν τω οικω αυτου, και η δικαιοσυνη αυτου μενει εις τον αιωνα.
3Wealth and riches [shall be] in his house; and his righteousness abideth for ever.
4Φως ανατελλει εν τω σκοτει δια τους ευθεις· ειναι ελεημων και οικτιρμων και δικαιος.
4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness; he is gracious, and merciful, and righteous.
5Ο καλος ανθρωπος ελεει και δανειζει· οικονομει τα πραγματα αυτου εν κρισει.
5It is well with the man that is gracious and lendeth; he will sustain his cause in judgment.
6[] Βεβαιως δεν θελει ποτε κλονισθη· εις μνημοσυνον αιωνιον θελει εισθαι ο δικαιος.
6For he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7Απο κακης φημης δεν θελει φοβηθη· η καρδια αυτου ειναι στερεα, ελπιζουσα επι τον Κυριον.
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed confiding in Jehovah;
8Εστηριγμενη ειναι η καρδια αυτου· δεν θελει φοβηθη, εωσου ιδη την εκδικησιν επι τους εχθρους αυτου.
8His heart is maintained, he is not afraid, until he see [his desire] upon his oppressors.
9Εσκορπισεν, εδωκεν εις τους πενητας· η δικαιοσυνη αυτου μενει εις τον αιωνα· το κερας αυτου θελει υψωθη εν δοξη.
9He scattereth abroad, he giveth to the needy; his righteousness abideth for ever: his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10Ο ασεβης θελει ιδει και θελει οργισθη· θελει τριξει τους οδοντας αυτου και θελει αναλυθη· η επιθυμια των ασεβων θελει απολεσθη.
10The wicked [man] shall see [it] and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
