1[] <<Εις τον πρωτον μουσικον, δια τους υιους Κορε· ωδη επι Αλαμωθ.>> Ο Θεος ειναι καταφυγη ημων και δυναμις, βοηθεια ετοιμοτατη εν ταις θλιψεσι.
1{To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. On Alamoth. A song.} God is our refuge and strength, a help in distresses, very readily found.
2Δια τουτο δεν θελομεν φοβηθη, και αν σαλευθη η γη και μετατοπισθωσι τα ορη εις το μεσον των θαλασσων·
2Therefore will we not fear though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the heart of the seas;
3και αν ηχωσι και ταραττωνται τα υδατα αυτων· και σειωνται τα ορη δια το επαρμα αυτων. Διαψαλμα.
3Though the waters thereof roar [and] foam, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4Ποταμος, και οι ρυακες αυτου θελουσιν ευφραινει την πολιν του Θεου, τον αγιον τοπον των σκηνωματων του Υψιστου.
4There is a river the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the sanctuary of the habitations of the Most High.
5Ο Θεος ειναι εν τω μεσω αυτης· δεν θελει σαλευθη· θελει βοηθησει αυτην ο Θεος απο του χαραγματος της αυγης.
5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her at the dawn of the morning.
6[] Εφρυαξαν τα εθνη· εσαλευθησαν αι βασιλειαι· εδωκε φωνην αυτου· η γη ανελυθη.
6The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7Ο Κυριος των δυναμεων ειναι μεθ' ημων· προπυργιον ημων ειναι ο Θεος του Ιακωβ. Διαψαλμα.
7Jehovah of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high fortress. Selah.
8Ελθετε, ιδετε τα εργα του Κυριου· οποιας καταστροφας εκαμεν εν τη γη.
8Come, behold the works of Jehovah, what desolations he hath made in the earth:
9Καταπαυει τους πολεμους εως των περατων της γης· συντριβει τοξον και κατακοπτει λογχην· καιει αμαξας εν πυρι.
9He hath made wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariots in the fire.
10Ησυχασατε και γνωρισατε οτι εγω ειμαι ο Θεος· θελω υψωθη μεταξυ των εθνων· θελω υψωθη εν τη γη.
10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
11Ο Κυριος των δυναμεων ειναι μεθ' ημων· προπυργιον ημων ειναι ο Θεος του Ιακωβ. Διαψαλμα.
