1[] Ουτοι δε ειναι οι ανθρωποι της επαρχιας οι αναβαντες εκ της αιχμαλωσιας, εκ των μετοικισθεντων, τους οποιους Ναβουχοδονοσορ ο βασιλευς της Βαβυλωνος μετωκισεν εις Βαβυλωνα, και επιστρεψαντες εις Ιερουσαλημ και εις την Ιουδαιαν, εκαστος εις την πολιν αυτου·
1Now these are the children of the province, who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, everyone to his city;
2οιτινες ηλθον μετα Ζοροβαβελ, Ιησου, Νεεμια, Σεραια, Ρεελαια, Μαροδοχαιου, Βιλσαν, Μισπαρ, Βιγουαι, Ρεουμ, Βαανα. Αριθμος των ανδρων του λαου του Ισραηλ·
2who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

56the children of Jaalah, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
57υιοι Σεφατια, υιοι Αττιλ, υιοι Φοχερεθ απο Σεβαιμ, υιοι Αμι.
57the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth Hazzebaim, the children of Ami.
58Παντες οι Νεθινειμ, και οι υιοι των δουλων του Σολομωντος, ησαν τριακοσιοι ενενηκοντα δυο.
58All the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety-two.
59Ουτοι δε ησαν οι αναβαντες απο Θελ-μελαχ, Θελ-αρησα, Χερουβ, Αδδαν και Ιμμηρ· δεν ηδυναντο ομως να δειξωσι τον οικον της πατριας αυτων και το σπερμα αυτων, αν ησαν εκ του Ισραηλ·
59These were those who went up from Tel Melah, Tel Harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not show their fathers’ houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
60Υιοι Δαλαια, υιοι Τωβια, υιοι Νεκωδα, εξακοσιοι πεντηκοντα δυο·
60the children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty-two.
61και εκ των υιων των ιερεων· υιοι Αβαια, υιοι Ακκως, υιοι Βαρζελλαι, οστις ελαβε γυναικα εκ των θυγατερων Βαρζελλαι του Γαλααδιτου και ωνομασθη κατα το ονομα αυτων.
61Of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
62Ουτοι εζητησαν την καταγραφην αυτων μεταξυ των απαριθμηθεντων κατα γενεαλογιαν, και δεν ευρεθησαν· οθεν εξεβληθησαν απο της ιερατειας.
62These sought their place among those who were registered by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
63Και ειπε προς αυτους ο Θιρσαθα να μη φαγωσιν απο των αγιωτατων πραγματων, εωσου αναστηθη ιερευς μετα Ουριμ και Θουμμιμ.
63The governor said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, until there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
64[] Πασα η συναξις ομου ησαν τεσσαρακοντα δυο χιλιαδες τριακοσιοι εξηκοντα,
64The whole assembly together was forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,
65εκτος των δουλων αυτων και των θεραπαινιδων αυτων, οιτινες ησαν επτακισχιλιοι τριακοσιοι τριακοντα επτα· και πλην τουτων, διακοσιοι ψαλτωδοι και ψαλτριαι.
65besides their male servants and their female servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
66Οι ιπποι αυτων επτακοσιοι τριακοντα εξ· αι ημιονοι αυτων, διακοσιαι τεσσαρακοντα πεντε·
66Their horses were seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred forty-five;
67αι καμηλοι αυτων, τετρακοσιαι τριακοντα πεντε· αι ονοι, εξακισχιλιαι επτακοσιαι εικοσι.
67their camels, four hundred thirty-five; their donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68Και τινες εκ των αρχηγων των πατριων, οτε ηλθον εις τον οικον του Κυριου τον εν Ιερουσαλημ, προσεφεραν αυτοπροαιρετως δια τον οικον του Θεου, να ανεγειρωσιν αυτον εν τω τοπω αυτου·
68Some of the heads of fathers’ households, when they came to the house of Yahweh which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for God’s house to set it up in its place:
69εδωκαν κατα την δυναμιν αυτων εις το θησαυροφυλακιον του εργου εξ μυριαδας και χιλιας δραχμας χρυσιου και πεντε χιλιαδας μνας αργυριου και εκατον ιερατικους χιτωνας.
69they gave after their ability into the treasury of the work sixty-one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.
70Ουτως οι ιερεις και οι Λευιται και μερος εκ του λαου και οι ψαλτωδοι και οι πυλωροι και οι Νεθινειμ κατωκησαν εν ταις πολεσιν αυτων, και πας ο Ισραηλ εν ταις πολεσιν αυτου.
70So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, lived in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
