¹પ્રેરિત પાઉલ તરફથી સલામ. પ્રેરિત થવા માટે હું માણસો તરફથી પસંદ નથી થયો. માણસોએ મને નથી મોકલ્યો. ના! ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તે તથા દેવ બાપે મને પ્રેરિત બનાવ્યો છે. દેવ એક છે જેણે ઈસુને મૃત્યુમાંથી ઊઠાડયો.

¹Paul, an apostle (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead),

²ખ્રિસ્તમાં જેઓ મારી સાથે છે તેઓ તરફથી ગલાતિયામાંની મંડળીઓને કુશળતા પાઠવું છું.

²and all the brothers The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:

³હું પ્રાર્થના કરું છુ કે આપણા દેવ બાપ અને પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત તમારા પ્રતિ સૌમ્ય રહેશે અને તમને શાંતિ પ્રદાન કરશે.

³Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁴આપણાં પાપો માટે ઈસુએ પોતાનું સ્વાર્પણ કર્યુ. આપણને આ અનિષ્ટ દુનિયા કે જેમાં આપણે જીવીએ છીએ. તેમાંથી મુક્તિ અપાવવા ઈસુએ આમ કર્યુ. આપણા દેવ પિતાની આ ઈચ્છા હતી.

⁴who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father—

⁵તેનો મહિમા સદાસર્વકાળ હોજો. આમીન.

⁵to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

⁶થોડા સમય પહેલા તેને અનુસરવાનું દેવે તમને આહવાન આપેલું. ઈસુમાંથી પ્રગટ થતી તેની કૃપા દ્વારા તેણે તમને આ આહવાન આપેલું પરંતુ હવે તમારા લોકોથી હું નવાઈ પામું છું! તમે તેનાથી વિમુખ થઈ રહ્યા છો. અને અન્ય પ્રકારની સુવાર્તાને અનુસરો છો.

⁶I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”;

⁷વાસ્તવમાં બીજી કોઈ સાચી સુવાર્તા નથી. પરંતુ કેટલાએક લોકો તમને ગુંચવે છે૤ તેઓ ખ્રિસ્તની સુવાર્તામાં પરિવર્તન ઈચ્છે છે૤

⁷and there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.

⁸અમે તમને સાચી સુવાર્તા કહી છે. જેથી અમે પોતે કે આકાશમાંના દૂત પણ તમને ભિન્ન સુવાર્તા કહે તો તે શાપિત થાઓ!

⁸But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.

⁹મેં અગાઉ પણ તમને આ કહેલું અને ફરીથી કહું છું: તમે સાચી સુવાર્તાને કયારની અપનાવી લીધી છે. જો કોઈ પણ વ્યક્તિ તમને ઉદ્ધાર માટેનો જુદો રસ્તો બતાવે તો તે વ્યક્તિ શ્રાપિત થાઓ.

⁹As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

¹⁰હવે શું તમે એમ માનો છો કે લોકો મને અપનાવે તેવો પ્રયત્ન હું કરું છું? ના! દેવ એક છે જેને પ્રસન્ન કરવાનો હું પ્રયત્ન કરું છું. શું હું માણસોને રાજી કરવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરું છું? જો હું માણસોને રાજી કરવા માંગતો હોત, તો ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તનો હું સેવક નથી.

¹⁰For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.

¹¹પણ ભાઈઓ, હું ઈચ્છુ છું કે તમે જાણો કે જે સુવાર્તા મેં તમને પ્રગટ કરી છે તે માનવ ર્સજીત નથી.

¹¹But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.

¹²માનવ તરફથી મને સુવાર્તા પ્રાપ્ત નથી થઈ. કોઈ માનવીએ મને સુવાર્તા નથી શીખવી. ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તે મને એ પ્રદાન કરી છે. તેણે મને એ સુવાર્તાના દર્શન કરાવ્યા કે જેથી તેનું કથન હું લોકોને કરું.

¹²For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹³તમે મારા પાછલા જીવન વિષે સાંભળ્યુ છે. હું યહૂદી ધર્મ પાળતો હતો. મેં દેવની મંડળીને ખૂબ સતાવી છે. મેં મંડળીનો નાશ કરવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો છે.

¹³For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God, and ravaged it.

¹⁴મારી ઉમરના બીજા યહૂદીઓ કરતાં હું યહૂદી ધર્મની વધારે પ્રગતિ કરી રહ્યો હતો૤ બીજા યહૂદીઓ કરતા તે પરંપરાને અનુસરવા મેં વધારે પ્રયત્ન કર્યો છે.

¹⁴I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

¹⁵પરંતુ મારા જન્મ પહેલા દેવની યોજના મારા માટે કોઈ ખાસ હતી. તેથી તેની કૃપાથી દેવે મને આહવાન આપ્યું. દેવ ઈચ્છતો હતો

¹⁵But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace,

¹⁶કે તેના દીકરા (ઈસુ) વિષેની સુવાર્તા હું બિનયહૂદી લોકોને કહું. તેથી દેવે મને તેના દીકરા વિષે દર્શાવ્યું. જ્યારે દેવે મને બોલાવ્યો ત્યારે મેં કોઈ પણ માણસની સલાહ કે મદદ લીધી નહોતી.

¹⁶to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,

¹⁷હું યરૂશાલેમમાં પ્રેરિતોને મળવા નહોતો ગયો. આ લોકો મારા પહેલા પ્રેરિતો હતા. પરંતુ રાહ જોયા વગર, હું અરબસ્તાન ગયો. પાછળથી હું દમસ્ક શહેરમાં પાછો ફર્યો.

¹⁷nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.

¹⁸ત્રણ વરસ પછી હું યરૂશાલેમ ગયો; મારે પિતરને મળવું હતું. હું પિતર સાથે 15 દિવસ રહ્યો.

¹⁸Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.

¹⁹હું પ્રભુના ભાઈ યાકૂબ સિવાય, બીજા કોઈ પ્રેરિતોને મળ્યો નહિ.

¹⁹But of the other apostles I saw no one, except James, the Lord’s brother.

²⁰દેવ જાણે છે કે આજે હું જે લખુ છું, તે અસત્ય નથી.

²⁰Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying.

²¹પાછળથી હું સિરિયા અને કિલકિયાના પ્રદેશોમાં ચાલ્યો ગયો.

²¹Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

²²યહૂદિયામાંની ખ્રિસ્તની મંડળીઓ પહેલા કદી મને મળી નહોતી.

²²I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,

²³તેઓએ માત્ર મારા વિષે આ સાંભળ્યું હતું કે: “આ માણસ આપણને ખૂબ સતાવતો હતો. પરંતુ હવે તે લોકોને તે જ વિશ્વાસ વિષે વાત કહે છે કે જેનો એક વખત નાશ કરવાનો તેણે પ્રયત્ન કરેલો.”

²³but they only heard: “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.”

²⁴આ વિશ્વાસીઓએ મારા કારણે દેવની સ્તુતિ કરી.

²⁴And they glorified God in me.
