1וידבר יהוה אל משה ואל אהרן לאמר׃
1And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,
2איש על דגלו באתת לבית אבתם יחנו בני ישראל מנגד סביב לאהל מועד יחנו׃
2`Each by his standard, with ensigns of the house of their fathers, do the sons of Israel encamp; over-against round about the tent of meeting they encamp.`
3והחנים קדמה מזרחה דגל מחנה יהודה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני יהודה נחשון בן עמינדב׃
3And those encamping eastward towards the sun-rising, [are of] the standard of the camp of Judah, by their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Judah [is] Nahshon, son of Amminadab;
4וצבאו ופקדיהם ארבעה ושבעים אלף ושש מאות׃
4and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] four and seventy thousand and six hundred.
5והחנים עליו מטה יששכר ונשיא לבני יששכר נתנאל בן צוער׃
5And those encamping by him [are of] the tribe of Issachar; and the prince of the sons of Issachar [is] Nethaneel son of Zuar;
6וצבאו ופקדיו ארבעה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות׃
6and his host, and its numbered ones, [are] four and fifty thousand and four hundred.
7מטה זבולן ונשיא לבני זבולן אליאב בן חלן׃
7The tribe of Zebulun; and the prince of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon;
8וצבאו ופקדיו שבעה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות׃
8and his host, and its numbered ones, [are] seven and fifty thousand and four hundred;
9כל הפקדים למחנה יהודה מאת אלף ושמנים אלף וששת אלפים וארבע מאות לצבאתם ראשנה יסעו׃
9all those numbered of the camp of Judah [are] a hundred thousand, and eighty thousand, and six thousand, and four hundred, by their hosts; they journey first.
10דגל מחנה ראובן תימנה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני ראובן אליצור בן שדיאור׃
10The standard of the camp of Reuben [is] southward, by their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Reuben [is] Elizur son of Shedeur;
11וצבאו ופקדיו ששה וארבעים אלף וחמש מאות׃
11and his host, and its numbered ones, [are] six and forty thousand and five hundred.
12והחונם עליו מטה שמעון ונשיא לבני שמעון שלמיאל בן צורי שדי׃
12And those encamping by him [are of] the tribe of Simeon; and the prince of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;
13וצבאו ופקדיהם תשעה וחמשים אלף ושלש מאות׃
13and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] nine and fifty thousand and three hundred.
14ומטה גד ונשיא לבני גד אליסף בן דעואל׃
14And the tribe of Gad; and the prince of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Reuel;
15וצבאו ופקדיהם חמשה וארבעים אלף ושש מאות וחמשים׃
15and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] five and forty thousand and six hundred and fifty.
16כל הפקדים למחנה ראובן מאת אלף ואחד וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות וחמשים לצבאתם ושנים יסעו׃
16All those numbered of the camp of Reuben [are] a hundred thousand, and one and fifty thousand, and four hundred and fifty, by their hosts; and they journey second.
17ונסע אהל מועד מחנה הלוים בתוך המחנת כאשר יחנו כן יסעו איש על ידו לדגליהם׃
17And the tent of meeting — the camp of the Levites — hath journeyed in the midst of the camps; as they encamp so they journey, each at his station by their standards.
18דגל מחנה אפרים לצבאתם ימה ונשיא לבני אפרים אלישמע בן עמיהוד׃
18The standard of the camp of Ephraim, by their hosts, [is] westward; and the prince of the sons of Ephraim [is] Elishama son of Ammihud;
19וצבאו ופקדיהם ארבעים אלף וחמש מאות׃
19and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] forty thousand and five hundred.
20ועליו מטה מנשה ונשיא לבני מנשה גמליאל בן פדהצור׃
20And by him [is] the tribe of Manasseh; and the prince of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;
21וצבאו ופקדיהם שנים ושלשים אלף ומאתים׃
21and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] two and thirty thousand, and two hundred.
22ומטה בנימן ונשיא לבני בנימן אבידן בן גדעני׃
22And the tribe of Benjamin; and the prince of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni;
23וצבאו ופקדיהם חמשה ושלשים אלף וארבע מאות׃
23and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] five and thirty thousand and four hundred.
24כל הפקדים למחנה אפרים מאת אלף ושמנת אלפים ומאה לצבאתם ושלשים יסעו׃
24All those numbered of the camp of Ephraim [are] a hundred thousand, and eight thousand, and a hundred, by their hosts; and they journey third.
25דגל מחנה דן צפנה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני דן אחיעזר בן עמישדי׃
25The standard of the camp of Dan [is] northward, by their hosts; and the prince of the sons of Dan [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;
26וצבאו ופקדיהם שנים וששים אלף ושבע מאות׃
26and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] two and sixty thousand and seven hundred.
27והחנים עליו מטה אשר ונשיא לבני אשר פגעיאל בן עכרן׃
27And those encamping by him [are of] the tribe of Asher; and the prince of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran;
28וצבאו ופקדיהם אחד וארבעים אלף וחמש מאות׃
28and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] one and forty thousand and five hundred.
29ומטה נפתלי ונשיא לבני נפתלי אחירע בן עינן׃
29And the tribe of Naphtali; and the prince of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan;
30וצבאו ופקדיהם שלשה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות׃
30and his host, and their numbered ones, [are] three and fifty thousand and four hundred.
31כל הפקדים למחנה דן מאת אלף ושבעה וחמשים אלף ושש מאות לאחרנה יסעו לדגליהם׃
31All those numbered of the camp of Dan [are] a hundred thousand, and seven and fifty thousand, and six hundred; at the rear they journey, by their standards.
32אלה פקודי בני ישראל לבית אבתם כל פקודי המחנת לצבאתם שש מאות אלף ושלשת אלפים וחמש מאות וחמשים׃
32These [are] those numbered of the sons of Israel by the house of their fathers; all those numbered of the camps by their hosts [are] six hundred thousand, and three thousand, and five hundred and fifty.
33והלוים לא התפקדו בתוך בני ישראל כאשר צוה יהוה את משה׃
33And the Levites have not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
34ויעשו בני ישראל ככל אשר צוה יהוה את משה כן חנו לדגליהם וכן נסעו איש למשפחתיו על בית אבתיו׃
34And the sons of Israel do according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses; so they have encamped by their standards, and so they have journeyed; each by his families, by the house of his fathers.
