1הללו יה שירו ליהוה שיר חדש תהלתו בקהל חסידים׃
1Hallelujah! Sing unto Jehovah a new song; [sing] his praise in the congregation of the godly.
2ישמח ישראל בעשיו בני ציון יגילו במלכם׃
2Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.
3יהללו שמו במחול בתף וכנור יזמרו לו׃
3Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing psalms unto him with the tambour and harp.
4כי רוצה יהוה בעמו יפאר ענוים בישועה׃
4For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people; he beautifieth the meek with salvation.
5יעלזו חסידים בכבוד ירננו על משכבותם׃
5Let the godly exult in glory; let them shout for joy upon their beds.
6רוממות אל בגרונם וחרב פיפיות בידם׃
6Let the high praises of ùGod be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand:
7לעשות נקמה בגוים תוכחת בל אמים׃
7To execute vengeance against the nations, [and] punishment among the peoples;
8לאסר מלכיהם בזקים ונכבדיהם בכבלי ברזל׃
8To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9לעשות בהם משפט כתוב הדר הוא לכל חסידיו הללו יה׃
9To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah!
