¹Kemudian TUHAN berkata kepada Musa, "Pahatlah dua keping batu seperti yang dahulu. Pada batu itu Aku akan menulis kata-kata yang sama dengan yang ada pada batu yang sudah kaupecahkan itu.

¹And Jehovah said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon the tables the words that were on the first tables, which thou brakest.

²Bersiap-siaplah besok pagi untuk mendaki Gunung Sinai dan menghadap Aku di puncak gunung itu.

²And be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me on the top of the mount.

³Tak seorang pun boleh ikut dengan engkau atau berada di bagian mana pun dari gunung itu. Sapi-sapi dan domba-domba jangan dibiarkan merumput di kaki gunung itu."

³And no man shall come up with thee; neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.

⁴Lalu Musa memahat dua keping batu lagi, dan keesokan harinya pagi-pagi sekali ia membawanya naik ke atas Gunung Sinai seperti diperintahkan TUHAN kepadanya.

⁴And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as Jehovah had commanded him, and took in his hand two tables of stone.

⁵Maka turunlah TUHAN dalam sebuah awan; Ia berdiri dengan Musa di tempat itu, dan mengucapkan nama-Nya yang suci, yaitu TUHAN.

⁵And Jehovah descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Jehovah.

⁶Kemudian TUHAN lewat di depan Musa dan berkata, "Aku TUHAN, adalah Allah yang penuh kemurahan hati dan belas kasihan. Kasih-Ku berlimpah-limpah, Aku setia dan tidak lekas marah.

⁶And Jehovah passed by before him, and proclaimed, Jehovah, Jehovah, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth,

⁷Aku tetap mengasihi beribu-ribu keturunan dan mengampuni kesalahan dan dosa; tetapi orang bersalah sekali-kali tidak Kubebaskan dari hukumannya, dan Kuhukum pula anak-anak dan cucu-cucu sampai keturunan yang ketiga dan keempat karena dosa orang tua mereka".

⁷keeping lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.

⁸Saat itu juga Musa sujud menyembah.

⁸And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

⁹Katanya, "Tuhan, jika Engkau sungguh-sungguh berkenan kepada saya, saya mohon, sudilah Tuhan ikut dengan kami. Bangsa itu memang keras kepala, tetapi ampunilah kejahatan dan dosa kami dan terimalah kami sebagai umat-Mu sendiri."

⁹And he said, If now I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in the midst of us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.

¹⁰Kata TUHAN kepada Musa, "Sekarang Aku membuat perjanjian dengan bangsa Israel. Di depan mata mereka Aku akan melakukan keajaiban-keajaib yang belum pernah dilakukan di antara bangsa mana pun di bumi. Semua bangsa akan melihat keajaiban-keajaiban yang Kulakukan, sebab Aku, TUHAN akan melakukan sesuatu yang dahsyat untuk kamu.

¹⁰And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of Jehovah; for it is a terrible thing that I do with thee.

¹¹Taatilah hukum-hukum yang Kuberikan kepadamu hari ini. Aku akan mengusir bangsa Amori, Kanaan, Het, Feris, Hewi dan Yebus pada waktu kamu maju.

¹¹Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

¹²Janganlah membuat perjanjian dengan orang-orang di negeri yang kamu datangi, sebab hal itu dapat menjadi perangkap yang mengakibatkan maut bagimu.

¹²Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

¹³Jadi, janganlah berbuat begitu, tetapi robohkan mezbah-mezbah mereka, hancurkan tugu-tugu keramat mereka dan tebanglah tiang-tiang Asyera, berhala mereka.

¹³but ye shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and ye shall cut down their Asherim;

¹⁴Jangan menyembah ilah lain, sebab Aku TUHAN, adalah Allah yang tak mau disamakan dengan apa pun.

¹⁴for thou shalt worship no other god: for Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

¹⁵Jangan mengadakan perjanjian dengan bangsa negeri itu, sebab pada waktu mereka menyembah dan mempersembahkan kurban kepada ilah-ilah mereka, mereka akan mengajak kamu, dan kamu akan ikut.

¹⁵lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they play the harlot after their gods, and sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee and thou eat of his sacrifice;

¹⁶Kalau anak-anakmu kawin dengan wanita-wanita asing, mereka akan dibujuk oleh wanita-wanita itu untuk meninggalkan Aku dan menyembah ilah-ilah mereka.

¹⁶and thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters play the harlot after their gods, and make thy sons play the harlot after their gods.

¹⁷Jangan membuat dan menyembah ilah-ilah dari logam.

¹⁷Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

¹⁸Rayakanlah Pesta Roti Tak Beragi. Seperti telah Kuperintahkan kepadamu, kamu harus makan roti tak beragi selama tujuh hari dalam bulan Abib, karena dalam bulan itu kamu meninggalkan Mesir.

¹⁸The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, at the time appointed in the month Abib; for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.

¹⁹Setiap anak laki-laki yang sulung dan binatang jantan yang pertama lahir adalah milik-Ku,

¹⁹All that openeth the womb is mine; and all thy cattle that is male, the firstlings of cow and sheep.

²⁰tetapi kamu harus menebus anak keledai yang pertama lahir dengan mempersembahkan seekor anak domba untuk gantinya. Kalau kamu tak mau menebusnya, leher keledai itu harus kamu patahkan. Setiap anakmu laki-laki yang sulung harus kamu tebus. Tak seorang pun boleh datang kepada-Ku jika tidak membawa persembahan.

²⁰And the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break its neck. All the first-born of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

²¹Ada enam hari untuk bekerja; janganlah bekerja pada hari yang ketujuh, sekalipun itu dalam musim membajak atau musim panen.

²¹Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in plowing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

²²Rayakanlah Pesta Panen pada waktu kamu mulai menuai hasil pertama dari gandum. Rayakan juga Pesta Pondok Daun pada akhir tahun, waktu kamu memetik buah-buahan.

²²And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, [even] of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.

²³Tiga kali setahun semua orang laki-laki harus datang menyembah Aku, TUHAN Allah Israel.

²³Three times in the year shall all thy males appear before the Lord Jehovah, the God of Israel.

²⁴Sesudah Aku mengusir bangsa-bangsa dari hadapanmu dan Kuluaskan daerahmu, tak seorang pun akan berani merebut negerimu pada waktu kamu pergi untuk merayakan Pesta Roti Tak Beragi, Pesta Panen dan Pesta Pondok Daun.

²⁴For I will cast out nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou goest up to appear before Jehovah thy God three times in the year.

²⁵Pada waktu kamu mempersembahkan ternak sembelihan, jangan persembahkan apa-apa yang dibuat pakai ragi. Ternak yang dipotong untuk kurban perayaan Paskah harus dihabiskan malam itu juga; tak boleh ada sisanya sampai keesokan harinya.

²⁵Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.

²⁶Setiap tahun kamu harus membawa ke Rumah TUHAN Allahmu hasil pertama dari tanahmu. Daging anak domba atau anak kambing tak boleh dimasak dengan air susu induknya."

²⁶The first of the first-fruits of thy ground thou shalt bring unto the house of Jehovah thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

²⁷Kata TUHAN kepada Musa, "Tulislah kata-kata itu, karena berdasarkan perkataan itu Aku membuat perjanjian dengan engkau dan dengan bangsa Israel."

²⁷And Jehovah said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

²⁸Empat puluh hari empat puluh malam Musa tinggal di situ bersama TUHAN, dan selama itu ia tidak makan dan tidak minum. Kata-kata perjanjian itu, yakni Sepuluh Perintah Allah, ditulisnya pada keping batu.

²⁸And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

²⁹Ketika Musa turun dari Gunung Sinai membawa Sepuluh Perintah itu, mukanya bercahaya sebab ia telah berbicara dengan TUHAN, tetapi Musa sendiri tidak tahu bahwa mukanya bersinar.

²⁹And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of the testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses knew not that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.

³⁰Harun dan seluruh rakyat melihat bahwa Musa bercahaya mukanya, dan mereka takut mendekatinya.

³⁰And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.

³¹Tetapi Musa memanggil mereka, maka Harun dan semua pemimpin mereka mendekati dia, dan Musa berbicara kepada mereka.

³¹And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses spake to them.

³²Setelah itu seluruh rakyat Israel berkumpul mengelilinginya, dan kepada mereka semua Musa menyampaikan semua hukum yang diberikan TUHAN kepadanya di atas Gunung Sinai.

³²And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that Jehovah had spoken with him in mount Sinai.

³³Sesudah berbicara dengan mereka, Musa menutupi mukanya dengan kain.

³³And when Moses had done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.

³⁴Setiap kali Musa masuk ke dalam Kemah TUHAN untuk berbicara dengan TUHAN, kain itu dibukanya sampai ia keluar. Sesudahnya ia menyampaikan kepada bangsa Israel semua pesan TUHAN,

³⁴But when Moses went in before Jehovah to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.

³⁵dan mereka melihat muka Musa bercahaya. Maka ditutupinya lagi mukanya sampai waktu yang berikut kalau ia berbicara lagi dengan TUHAN.

³⁵And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
