¹Aku mencintai TUHAN, sebab Ia mendengarkan aku dan memperhatikan permohonanku.

¹I love Jehovah, because he heareth My voice and my supplications.

²Ia mendengarkan aku, setiap kali aku berseru kepada-Nya.

²Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, Therefore will I call [upon him] as long as I live.

³Aku diancam bahaya maut; kengerian maut menyergap aku, membuat aku gelisah dan takut.

³The cords of death compassed me, And the pains of Sheol gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

⁴Maka aku berseru kepada TUHAN, "Ya TUHAN, aku mohon, selamatkanlah aku!"

⁴Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: O Jehovah, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

⁵TUHAN itu pengasih dan adil; Allah kita penuh belas kasihan.

⁵Gracious is Jehovah, and righteous; Yea, our God is merciful.

⁶TUHAN memelihara orang-orang sederhana; waktu aku tak berdaya diselamatkan-Nya aku.

⁶Jehovah preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.

⁷Kutenangkan hatiku, sebab TUHAN baik kepadaku.

⁷Return unto thy rest, O my soul; For Jehovah hath dealt bountifully with thee.

⁸TUHAN telah meluputkan aku dari kematian; dihibur-Nya aku dan tidak dibiarkan-Nya terjatuh.

⁸For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, [And] my feet from falling.

⁹Maka aku boleh menikmati hidup di dunia ini, di dalam perlindungan TUHAN.

⁹I will walk before Jehovah In the land of the living.

¹⁰Aku tetap percaya, sekalipun aku berkata, "Aku sangat tertekan."

¹⁰I believe, for I will speak: I was greatly afflicted:

¹¹Dalam kebingunganku aku berkata, "Tak seorang pun dapat dipercaya."

¹¹I said in my haste, All men are liars.

¹²Apa yang akan kuberikan kepada TUHAN untuk membalas kebaikan-Nya bagiku?

¹²What shall I render unto Jehovah For all his benefits toward me?

¹³Aku akan membawa persembahan anggur bagi TUHAN untuk bersyukur atas pertolongan-Nya.

¹³I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of Jehovah.

¹⁴Aku akan memenuhi janjiku kepada-Nya di depan seluruh umat-Nya.

¹⁴I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people.

¹⁵TUHAN sangat menyayangkan kematian seorang yang dikasihi-Nya.

¹⁵Precious in the sight of Jehovah Is the death of his saints.

¹⁶Aku ini hamba-Mu, ya TUHAN, seperti ibuku, aku pun berbakti kepada-Mu Engkau telah melepaskan aku dari tahanan.

¹⁶O Jehovah, truly I am thy servant: I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bonds.

¹⁷Aku akan membawa kurban syukur kepada-Mu, sambil mengunjukkan doa kepada-Mu.

¹⁷I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of Jehovah.

¹⁸Aku akan memenuhi janjiku kepada TUHAN, di depan seluruh umat-Nya

¹⁸I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people,

¹⁹yang berhimpun di pelataran Rumah TUHAN, di tengah kota Yerusalem. Pujilah TUHAN!

¹⁹In the courts of Jehovah's house, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
