1Mazmur Asaf. TUHAN, Allah Yang Mahakuasa, berbicara; Ia berseru kepada seluruh bumi dari timur sampai ke barat.
1A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God, Jehovah, hath spoken, And called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2Dari Sion, kota yang paling indah, Allah tampil dengan bercahaya.
2Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth.
3Allah kita datang dan tidak tinggal diam, Ia didahului api yang menjilat-jilat, dan dikelilingi badai yang dahsyat.
3Our God cometh, and doth not keep silence: A fire devoureth before him, And it is very tempestuous round about him.
4Ia memanggil langit dan bumi untuk menyaksikan dia mengadili umat-Nya.
4He calleth to the heavens above, And to the earth, that he may judge his people:
5Kata-Nya, "Kumpulkanlah seluruh umat-Ku yang telah mengikat perjanjian dengan Aku, dan mengukuhkannya dengan kurban sembelihan."
5Gather my saints together unto me, Those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6Langit mewartakan bahwa Allah mengadili umat-Nya, dan bahwa Ia sendiri hakimnya.
6And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; For God is judge himself. Selah
7"Dengarlah, umat-Ku, Aku mau berbicara, Israel, Aku mau bersaksi terhadap kamu; Aku ini Allah, Allahmu.
7Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify unto thee: I am God, [even] thy God.
8Bukan karena kurbanmu Aku menuduh kamu; kurban bakaranmu selalu ada di hadapan-Ku.
8I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices; And thy burnt-offerings are continually before me.
9Aku tidak memerlukan sapi dari kandangmu, atau kambing dari kawanan ternakmu;
9I will take no bullock out of thy house, Nor he-goats out of thy folds.
10sebab semua binatang di hutan adalah milik-Ku, dan ternak di ribuan pegunungan.
10For every beast of the forest is mine, And the cattle upon a thousand hills.
11Semua burung di pegunungan milik-Ku juga, dan segala makhluk yang hidup di padang belantara.
11I know all the birds of the mountains; And the wild beasts of the field are mine.
12Kalau Aku lapar, tak perlu Kukatakan kepadamu, sebab bumi seisinya adalah milik-Ku.
12If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13Aku tidak makan daging sapi jantan, tidak juga minum darah kambing jantan.
13Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats?
14Persembahkanlah kurban syukur kepada Allah, tepatilah janjimu kepada Yang Mahatinggi.
14Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the Most High:
15Berserulah kepada-Ku di waktu kesesakan, Aku akan membebaskan kamu, dan kamu akan memuji Aku."
15And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
16Tetapi kepada orang jahat TUHAN berkata, "Engkau tidak berhak mengucapkan hukum-Ku, dan berbicara tentang perjanjian-Ku.
16But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, And that thou hast taken my covenant in thy mouth,
17Sebab engkau tak mau menerima teguran-Ku, dan menolak perintah-perintah-K
17Seeing thou hatest instruction, And castest my words behind thee?
18Jika kaulihat seorang pencuri, kauikut dengan dia, dan engkau bergaul dengan orang-orang yang suka berzinah.
18When thou sawest a thief, thou consentedst with him, And hast been partaker with adulterers.
19Engkau selalu mengatakan yang jahat, dan selalu siap dengan tipu muslihat.
19Thou givest thy mouth to evil, And thy tongue frameth deceit.
20Engkau terus memfitnah saudaramu, dan mengata-ngatai saudara kandungmu.
20Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; Thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
21Itulah yang kaulakukan, tetapi Aku diam saja, jadi kaupikir Aku seperti engkau. Tetapi sekarang Aku mencela engkau, dan semua itu Kujadikan nyata bagimu.
21These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such a one as thyself: [But] I will reprove thee, and set [them] in order before thine eyes.
22Perhatikanlah, kamu yang lupa kepada Allah; jagalah jangan sampai kamu Kubinasakan, dan tidak ada yang menyelamatkan.
22Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:
23Orang yang mempersembahkan syukur sebagai kurbannya, dialah yang menghormati Aku; dan kepada orang yang menyiapkan jalan akan Kutunjukkan keselamatan daripada-Ku."
23Whoso offereth the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifieth me; And to him that ordereth his way [aright] Will I show the salvation of God.
