¹TUHAN menyuruh Musa dan Harun

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

²mengadakan sensus orang Lewi dari kaum Kehat menurut keluarga masing-masing,

²“Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,

³lalu mencatat nama semua orang laki-laki yang berumur tiga puluh sampai lima puluh tahun, yang mampu melakukan wajib kerja di Kemah TUHAN.

³from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.

⁴Pekerjaan mereka ialah mengurus barang-barang yang mahasuci.

⁴“This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, the most holy things.

⁵TUHAN memberi kepada Musa peraturan ini: Kalau sudah waktunya membongkar perkemahan, Harun dan anak-anaknya harus masuk ke Kemah TUHAN, menurunkan tirai di depan Peti Perjanjian, dan menutupi Peti itu dengan kain itu.

⁵When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the Testimony with it,

⁶Sesudahnya, mereka harus menutupinya lagi dengan sehelai kulit halus, lalu membentangkan sehelai kain biru di atasnya, dan memasang kayu pengusung Peti itu.

⁶and shall put a covering of sealskin on it, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall put in its poles.

⁷Mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain biru di atas meja tempat roti sajian untuk TUHAN, dan di atas meja itu harus mereka letakkan pinggan, baki tempat dupa, baki tempat persembahan, dan kendi untuk persembahan air anggur. Roti sajian harus selalu ada di meja itu.

⁷“On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it.

⁸Mereka harus menutupi semuanya itu dengan sehelai kain merah, lalu membentangkan sehelai kulit halus di atasnya, dan memasang kayu pengusung meja itu.

⁸They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.

⁹Mereka harus mengambil sehelai kain biru dan menutupi kaki lampu serta lampu-lampunya, alat untuk membersihkan sumbu pelita dan penadahnya, dan semua tempat minyak zaitun.

⁹“They shall take a blue cloth, and cover the lampstand of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.

¹⁰Kaki lampu dan seluruh perlengkapannya harus mereka bungkus dengan sehelai kulit halus lalu menaruhnya di atas tempat pengusungan.

¹⁰They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.

¹¹Sesudah itu mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain biru di atas mezbah dari emas itu, dan menutupinya dengan sehelai kulit halus, lalu memasang kayu pengusung mezbah itu.

¹¹“On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.

¹²Segala peralatan yang dipakai di dalam Ruang Suci harus mereka ambil dan bungkus dengan sehelai kain biru. Lalu mereka harus menutupinya dengan sehelai kulit halus, dan menaruhnya di atas usungan.

¹²“They shall take all the vessels of ministry, with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.

¹³Mereka harus membersihkan mezbah itu dari abu, lalu membentangkan sehelai kain ungu di atasnya.

¹³“They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it.

¹⁴Dan di atas itu harus mereka letakkan semua peralatan yang dipakai dalam ibadat pada mezbah itu: tempat api, garpu, penyodok, dan baskom. Lalu mereka harus menutupi semuanya itu dengan sehelai kulit halus dan memasang kayu pengusungnya.

¹⁴They shall put on it all its vessels, with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the flesh hooks, the shovels, and the basins; all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.

¹⁵TUHAN berkata kepada Musa dan Harun, "Pada waktu kamu membongkar perkemahan, Harun dan anak-anaknya harus masuk ke dalam Kemah-Ku dan menutupi semua barang dan perlengkapan yang ada di situ. Baru sesudah itu, orang-orang Kehat boleh datang untuk memikulnya. Tetapi mereka tak boleh melihat, mendekati atau menyentuh benda-benda itu, karena sudah dikhususkan untuk-Ku. Kalau mereka melakukannya juga, mereka akan mati. Jadi, supaya orang-orang Kehat itu jangan terhapus dari suku Lewi, Harun dan anak-anaknya harus menugaskan masing-masing di antara mereka apa yang harus mereka bawa. Itulah tugas orang Kehat pada waktu Kemah-Ku dipindahkan. Eleazar, anak Harun, bertanggung jawab atas seluruh Kemah-Ku, minyak lampu, dupa, kurban gandum untuk sajian tetap, minyak upacara dan semua yang ada di dalam Kemah-Ku itu."

¹⁵“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it: but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting.

¹⁶(4:15)

¹⁶“The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”

¹⁷(4:15)

¹⁷Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

¹⁸(4:15)

¹⁸“Don’t cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;

¹⁹(4:15)

¹⁹but thus do to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach to the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them everyone to his service and to his burden;

²⁰(4:15)

²⁰but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.”

²¹TUHAN menyuruh Musa

²¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²²mengadakan sensus orang Lewi dari kaum Gerson menurut keluarga masing-masing.

²²“Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers’ houses, by their families;

²³Musa harus mencatat nama semua orang laki-laki yang berumur tiga puluh sampai lima puluh tahun yang mampu melakukan wajib kerja di Kemah TUHAN.

²³you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old; all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.

²⁴Mereka ditugaskan untuk mengangkut barang-barang ini:

²⁴“This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:

²⁵Kain tenda Kemah itu dengan tutupnya bagian dalam dan bagian luar dari kulit halus, kain di pintu Kemah,

²⁵they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle, and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above on it, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,

²⁶layar-layar dan tali temalinya untuk pelataran di sekitar Kemah dan mezbah, kain di gerbang pelataran, dan semua perlengkapan yang dipakai untuk memasang semua benda itu. Mereka bertanggung jawab atas semua pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan barang-barang itu.

²⁶and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. Therein shall they serve.

²⁷Musa dan Harun harus mengawasi supaya pekerjaan yang diserahkan Harun dan anak-anaknya kepada orang-orang Gerson itu dilaksanakan, dan semua barang yang harus diangkut, agar diangkut.

²⁷At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.

²⁸Itulah tugas orang-orang Gerson di dalam Kemah; tugas-tugas itu harus dilaksanakan di bawah pimpinan Itamar, anak Imam Harun.

²⁸This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting: and their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

²⁹TUHAN menyuruh Musa mengadakan sensus orang Lewi dari kaum Merari menurut keluarga masing-masing.

²⁹“As for the sons of Merari, you shall number them by their families, by their fathers’ houses;

³⁰Musa harus mencatat nama semua orang laki-laki yang berumur tiga puluh sampai lima puluh tahun yang mampu melakukan wajib kerja di Kemah TUHAN.

³⁰you shall count them from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.

³¹Mereka ditugaskan untuk mengangkut rangka-rangka Kemah itu, balok-baloknya, tiang-tiangnya dan alasnya.

³¹This is the duty of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,

³²Juga tiang-tiang pelataran sekeliling Kemah itu serta alasnya, patok-patoknya dan tali temalinya dengan segala perkakas yang diperlukan untuk menegakkannya. Setiap orang ditugaskan membawa barang-barang tertentu.

³²and the pillars of the court around it, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name you shall appoint the instruments of the duty of their burden.

³³Itulah tugas-tugas kaum Merari; semua pekerjaan mereka di Kemah TUHAN harus dilakukan di bawah pimpinan Itamar, anak Imam Harun.

³³This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”

³⁴Sesuai dengan perintah TUHAN, Musa, Harun dan para pemimpin umat mengadakan sensus dari ketiga kaum dalam suku Lewi, yaitu Kehat, Gerson dan Merari. Mereka melakukan sensus itu keluarga demi keluarga. Mereka mencatat nama semua orang laki-laki yang berumur tiga puluh sampai lima puluh tahun yang mampu melakukan tugas wajib kerja di Kemah TUHAN. Inilah hasilnya: (Kaum-Jumlah orang), Kehat-2.750, Gerson-2.630, Merari-3.200; Seluruhnya: 8.580.

³⁴Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,

³⁵(4:34)

³⁵from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting.

³⁶(4:34)

³⁶Those who were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.

³⁷(4:34)

³⁷These are those who were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.

³⁸(4:34)

³⁸Those who were numbered of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers’ houses,

³⁹(4:34)

³⁹from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,

⁴⁰(4:34)

⁴⁰even those who were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.

⁴¹(4:34)

⁴¹These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh.

⁴²(4:34)

⁴²Those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,

⁴³(4:34)

⁴³from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,

⁴⁴(4:34)

⁴⁴even those who were numbered of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.

⁴⁵(4:34)

⁴⁵These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.

⁴⁶(4:34)

⁴⁶All those who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,

⁴⁷(4:34)

⁴⁷from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,

⁴⁸(4:34)

⁴⁸even those who were numbered of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.

⁴⁹Atas perintah TUHAN melalui Musa, setiap orang didaftarkan dan diberi tanggung jawabnya masing-masing atas apa yang harus dilayaninya atau apa yang harus dipikulnya.

⁴⁹According to the commandment of Yahweh they were numbered by Moses, everyone according to his service, and according to his burden. Thus were they numbered by him, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
