¹Kemudian saya melihat, lalu nampak Anak Domba itu berdiri di atas Bukit Sion. Bersama Dia ada 144.000 orang yang pada dahi masing-masing tertulis nama-Nya dan nama Bapa-Nya.

¹I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

²Lalu saya mendengar suara dari langit menderu seperti bunyi air terjun yang besar dan seperti gemuruh guntur yang hebat. Suara itu terdengar seperti suara musik dari pemain-pemain kecapi yang sedang memainkan kecapinya.

²I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.

³Di depan takhta dan keempat makhluk serta para pemimpin di sekeliling takhta itu, 144.000 orang itu menyanyikan suatu nyanyian yang baru. Nyanyian itu tidak dapat dipelajari oleh seorang pun selain oleh 144.000 orang itu yang sudah dibebaskan dari bumi.

³They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.

⁴Mereka itu orang-orang yang tetap murni seperti perawan, karena tidak mengadakan hubungan dengan wanita. Mereka mengikuti Anak Domba itu ke mana saja ia pergi. Dari antara seluruh umat manusia, merekalah yang sudah dibebaskan sebagai persembahan pertama kepada Allah dan kepada Anak Domba.

⁴These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

⁵Tidak pernah mereka berdusta; dan tidak ada cela sedikit pun pada mereka.

⁵In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless. TR adds “before the throne of God”

⁶Lalu saya melihat seorang malaikat lain yang terbang tinggi di langit. Malaikat itu membawa berita tentang Kabar Baik yang abadi untuk disampaikan kepada manusia di bumi yaitu kepada semua bangsa, suku, bahasa dan negara.

⁶I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people.

⁷Malaikat itu berseru dengan suara yang keras, "Takutlah kepada Allah, dan pujilah kebesaran-Nya! Sebab sudah waktunya Allah menghakimi manusia. Sembahlah Dia yang menjadikan langit, bumi, laut dan semua mata air!"

⁷He said with a loud voice, “Fear the Lord, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!”

⁸Malaikat kedua menyusul malaikat yang pertama sambil berseru, "Sudah jatuh! Kota Babel yang besar sudah jatuh! Ia sudah membuat segala bangsa menjadi mabuk dengan air anggur--yaitu anggur dari nafsu cabulnya!"

⁸Another, a second angel, followed, saying, “Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.”

⁹Seorang malaikat ketiga menyusul dua malaikat itu, sambil berseru dengan suara yang keras, "Orang yang memuja binatang itu dengan patungnya, dan mempunyai tanda binatang itu pada dahi atau tangannya,

⁹Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand,

¹⁰orang itu akan minum anggur Allah, yaitu anggur amarah-Nya yang sudah dituang-Nya ke dalam wadahnya, tanpa dikurangi sedikit pun! Semua orang itu akan disiksa di dalam api dan belerang di hadapan malaikat-malaikat suci dan di hadapan Anak Domba itu.

¹⁰he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.

¹¹Asap dari api yang menyiksa orang-orang itu akan mengepul terus-menerus untuk selama-lamanya. Siang malam tidak ada henti-hentinya mereka tersiksa, yaitu mereka yang menyembah binatang itu dan patungnya, semua orang yang mempunyai tanda nama binatang itu."

¹¹The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

¹²Dalam hal ini umat Allah yang taat kepada perintah-perintah Allah dan setia kepada Yesus, perlu menjadi tabah.

¹²Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

¹³Lalu saya mendengar suara dari surga berkata, "Tulislah ini: Mulai sekarang, berbahagialah orang-orang yang mati selagi melayani Tuhan!" "Benar!" jawab Roh Allah. "Mereka akan berhenti bekerja keras, karena hasil pelayanan mereka selalu akan menyertai mereka."

¹³I heard the voice from heaven saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.”

¹⁴Kemudian saya melihat, maka nampak suatu awan yang putih. Di atas awan itu duduk seorang yang kelihatannya seperti manusia. Di kepala-Nya ada sebuah mahkota emas, dan di tangan-Nya ada sebuah sabit yang tajam.

¹⁴I looked, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, Daniel 7:13 having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

¹⁵Kemudian seorang malaikat lain keluar dari Rumah Allah. Dengan suara yang keras, ia berseru kepada Dia yang duduk di atas awan itu, "Ayunkanlah sabit-Mu itu dan tuailah sekarang, sebab sudah waktunya untuk panen; bumi sudah matang untuk dituai!"

¹⁵Another angel came out from the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Send forth your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!”

¹⁶Lalu Dia yang duduk di atas awan itu mengayunkan sabit-Nya ke bumi, maka bumi pun dituai.

¹⁶He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

¹⁷Kemudian saya melihat seorang malaikat yang lain lagi keluar dari Rumah Allah di surga. Ia pun memegang sebuah sabit yang tajam.

¹⁷Another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.

¹⁸Setelah itu, seorang malaikat lain, yang berkuasa atas api, datang dari mezbah. Dengan suara yang kuat ia berseru kepada malaikat yang memegang sabit yang tajam itu, "Ayunkanlah sabitmu itu dan keratlah buah-buah pohon anggur di bumi, karena buah-buahnya sudah matang!"

¹⁸Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth’s grapes are fully ripe!”

¹⁹Maka malaikat itu mengayunkan sabitnya ke bumi dan menyabit buah-buah anggur dari batangnya, lalu melemparkannya ke dalam alat pemeras anggur amarah Allah yang meluap-luap.

¹⁹The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

²⁰Buah-buah anggur itu diperas di luar kota, dan dari alat pemeras anggur itu mengalirlah darah seperti sungai, sejauh tiga ratus kilometer, dan sedalam hampir dua meter.

²⁰The winepress was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out from the winepress, even to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia. 1600 stadia = 296 kilometers or 184 miles
