¹Lalu saya mendengar suara besar dari dalam Rumah Allah berkata kepada ketujuh malaikat itu, "Pergilah dan tuanglah isi ketujuh wadah amarah Allah itu ke atas bumi!"

¹I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth!”

²Malaikat pertama pergi dan menuang isi wadahnya ke bumi. Maka timbullah bisul-bisul yang hebat dan sangat perih pada semua orang yang mempunyai tanda binatang itu, dan pada orang-orang yang menyembah patungnya.

²The first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and it became a harmful and evil sore on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.

³Setelah itu malaikat kedua menuang isi wadahnya ke laut. Maka air laut pun menjadi seperti darah orang mati, dan matilah segala makhluk yang hidup di dalam laut.

³The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man. Every living thing in the sea died.

⁴Kemudian malaikat yang ketiga menuang isi wadahnya ke sungai-sungai dan ke mata-mata air, maka semua airnya menjadi darah.

⁴The third poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

⁵Saya mendengar malaikat yang berkuasa atas air berkata, "Hukuman yang Engkau jatuhkan adalah adil, ya Mahasuci, Allah yang ada, dan yang sudah ada!

⁵I heard the angel of the waters saying, “You are righteous, who are and who were, you Holy One, because you have judged these things.

⁶Mereka sudah menumpahkan darah umat Allah dan darah nabi-nabi; sekarang Engkau membuat mereka minum darah. Memang wajarlah itu untuk mereka!"

⁶For they poured out the blood of the saints and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this.”

⁷Lalu saya mendengar suara dari mezbah berkata, "Tuhan, Allah Mahakuasa, benar dan adillah hukuman-hukuman yang Engkau jatuhkan!"

⁷I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.”

⁸Setelah itu malaikat keempat menuang isi wadahnya ke matahari, maka matahari pun dibolehkan menghanguskan manusia dengan panasnya yang hebat itu.

⁸The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to scorch men with fire.

⁹Manusia dihanguskan oleh panas teriknya, dan mereka mengutuki nama Allah, yang berkuasa atas bencana-bencana tersebut. Meskipun begitu, mereka tidak mau bertobat dari dosa-dosa mereka dan tidak mau memuji kebesaran Allah.

⁹People were scorched with great heat, and people blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They didn’t repent and give him glory.

¹⁰Lalu malaikat kelima menuang isi wadahnya ke takhta binatang itu. Maka seluruh kerajaan binatang itu menjadi gelap, dan manusia menggigit lidah karena kesakitan.

¹⁰The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain,

¹¹Lalu mereka mengutuki Allah di surga karena mereka kesakitan dan karena bisul-bisul mereka. Tetapi mereka tidak juga bertobat dari perbuatan-perbuatan mereka yang jahat.

¹¹and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They didn’t repent of their works.

¹²Setelah itu malaikat keenam menuang isi wadahnya ke Sungai Efrat yang besar itu. Maka sungai itu kering sehingga raja-raja dari timur dapat berjalan melaluinya.

¹²The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings that come from the sunrise.

¹³Lalu saya melihat tiga roh jahat yang rupanya seperti katak. Masing-masing katak itu keluar dari mulut naga, dari mulut binatang, dan dari mulut nabi palsu.

¹³I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;

¹⁴Mereka adalah roh-roh jahat yang membuat keajaiban-keajaiban. Ketiga roh itu pergi kepada semua raja di seluruh dunia dan mengumpulkan mereka untuk bertempur pada Hari yang besar, yaitu Hari dari Allah Mahakuasa.

¹⁴for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go forth to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of that great day of God, the Almighty.

¹⁵"Dengarlah! Aku datang seperti pencuri! Berbahagialah orang yang tetap siaga dan menjaga pakaiannya, sehingga ia tidak berjalan dengan telanjang dan menjadi malu di depan umum!"

¹⁵ “Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he doesn’t walk naked, and they see his shame.”

¹⁶Kemudian roh-roh itu mengumpulkan raja-raja itu di tempat yang dalam bahasa Ibrani dinamakan Harmagedon.

¹⁶He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, Megiddo.

¹⁷Setelah itu malaikat ketujuh menuang isi wadahnya ke udara. Maka terdengarlah suara yang keras dari takhta di Rumah Allah, yang berkata, "Sudah selesai!"

¹⁷The seventh poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came forth out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

¹⁸Lalu terjadilah kilat sabung-menyabung dan suara guntur bergemuruh dan bergelegar, serta gempa bumi yang dahsyat. Tidak pernah terjadi gempa bumi semacam itu semenjak manusia diciptakan. Inilah gempa bumi yang paling dahsyat!

¹⁸There were lightnings, sounds, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men on the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.

¹⁹Kota yang besar itu pecah menjadi tiga bagian, dan hancurlah juga kota-kota semua negara di dunia. Lalu Allah teringat akan Babel yang besar itu. Maka Allah membuat dia minum anggur dari wadah anggur Allah--yaitu anggur amarah-Nya yang meluap-luap.

¹⁹The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

²⁰Semua pulau menghilang, dan semua gunung pun lenyap.

²⁰Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

²¹Hujan es besar, yang masing-masing seberat lima puluh kilogram, jatuh dari langit menimpa orang-orang. Maka mereka mengutuki Allah karena bencana hujan es yang dahsyat itu.

²¹Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, 1 talent is about 34 kilograms or 75 pounds came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.
