¹人々は神の箱をかき入れて、ダビデがそのために張った幕屋のうちに置き、そして燔祭と酬恩祭を神の前にささげた。

¹They brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

²ダビデは燔祭と酬恩祭をささげ終えたとき、主の名をもって民を祝福し、

²When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.

³イスラエルの人々に男にも女にもおのおのパン一つ、肉一切れ、干ぶどう一かたまりを分け与えた。

³He dealt to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.

⁴ダビデはまたレビびとのうちから主の箱の前に仕える者を立てて、イスラエルの神、主をあがめ、感謝し、ほめたたえさせた。

⁴He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate and to thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:

⁵楽長はアサフ、その次はゼカリヤ、エイエル、セミラモテ、エヒエル、マッタテヤ、エリアブ、ベナヤ、オベデ・エドム、エイエルで、彼らは立琴と琴を弾じ、アサフはシンバルを打ち鳴らし、

⁵Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;

⁶祭司ベナヤとヤハジエルは神の契約の箱の前でつねにラッパを吹いた。

⁶and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

⁷その日ダビデは初めてアサフと彼の兄弟たちを立てて、主に感謝をささげさせた。

⁷Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to Yahweh, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.

⁸主に感謝し、そのみ名を呼び、そのみわざをもろもろの民の中に知らせよ。

⁸Oh give thanks to Yahweh. Call on his name. Make his doings known among the peoples.

⁹主にむかって歌え、主をほめ歌え。そのもろもろのくすしきみわざを語れ。

⁹Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.

¹⁰その聖なるみ名を誇れ。どうか主を求める者の心が喜ぶように。

¹⁰Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.

¹¹主とそのみ力とを求めよ。つねにそのみ顔をたずねよ。

¹¹Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

¹²そのしもべアブラハムのすえよ、その選ばれたヤコブの子らよ。主のなされたくすしきみわざと、その奇跡と、そのみ口のさばきとを心にとめよ。

¹²Remember his marvelous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

¹³彼はわれわれの神、主にいます。そのさばきは全地にある。

¹³you seed of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

¹⁴主はとこしえにその契約をみこころにとめられる。これはよろずよに命じられたみ言葉であって、

¹⁴He is Yahweh our God. His judgments are in all the earth.

¹⁵アブラハムと結ばれた契約、イサクに誓われた約束である。

¹⁵Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

¹⁶主はこれを堅く立ててヤコブのために定めとし、イスラエルのためにとこしえの契約として、

¹⁶the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.

¹⁷言われた、「あなたにカナンの地を与えて、あなたがたの受ける嗣業の分け前とする」と。

¹⁷He confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

¹⁸その時、彼らの数は少なくて、数えるに足らず、かの国で旅びととなり、

¹⁸saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,”

¹⁹国から国へ行き、この国からほかの民へ行った。

¹⁹when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners were in it.

²⁰主は人の彼らをしえたげるのをゆるされず、彼らのために王たちを懲しめて、

²⁰They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.

²¹言われた、「わが油そそがれた者たちにさわってはならない。わが預言者たちに害を加えてはならない」と。

²¹He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

²²全地よ、主に向かって歌え。日ごとにその救を宣べ伝えよ。

²²“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”

²³もろもろの国の中にその栄光をあらわし、もろもろの民の中にくすしきみわざをあらわせ。

²³Sing to Yahweh, all the earth! Display his salvation from day to day.

²⁴主は大いなるかたにいまして、いとほめたたうべき者、もろもろの神にまさって、恐るべき者だからである。

²⁴Declare his glory among the nations, and his marvelous works among all the peoples.

²⁵もろもろの民のすべての神はむなしい。しかし主は天を造られた。

²⁵For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.

²⁶誉と威厳とはそのみ前にあり、力と喜びとはその聖所にある。

²⁶For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.

²⁷もろもろの民のやからよ、主に帰せよ、栄光と力とを主に帰せよ。

²⁷Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.

²⁸そのみ名にふさわしい栄光を主に帰せよ。供え物を携えて主のみ前にきたれ。聖なる装いをして主を拝め。

²⁸Ascribe to Yahweh, you relatives of the peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!

²⁹全地よ、そのみ前におののけ。世界は堅く立って、動かされることはない。

²⁹Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship Yahweh in holy array.

³⁰天は喜び、地はたのしみ、もろもろの国民の中に言え、「主は王であられる」と。

³⁰Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can’t be moved.

³¹海とその中に満つるものとは鳴りどよめき、田畑とその中のすべての物は喜べ。

³¹Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice! Let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns!”

³²そのとき林のもろもろの木も主のみ前に喜び歌う。主は地をさばくためにこられるからである。

³²Let the sea roar, and its fullness! Let the field exult, and all that is therein!

³³主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない。

³³Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth.

³⁴また言え、「われわれの救の神よ、われわれを救い、もろもろの国民の中からわれわれを集めてお救いください。そうすればあなたの聖なるみ名に感謝し、あなたの誉を誇るでしょう。

³⁴Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

³⁵イスラエルの神、主は、とこしえからとこしえまでほむべきかな」と。その時すべての民は「アァメン」と言って主をほめたたえた。

³⁵Say, “Save us, God of our salvation! Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.”

³⁶ダビデはアサフとその兄弟たちを主の契約の箱の前にとめおいて、常に箱の前に仕え、日々のわざを行わせた。

³⁶Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen,” and praised Yahweh.

³⁷オベデ・エドムとその兄弟たちは合わせて六十八人である。またエドトンの子オベデ・エドムおよびホサは門守であった。

³⁷So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;

³⁸祭司ザドクとその兄弟である祭司たちはギベオンにある高き所で主の幕屋の前に仕え、

³⁸and Obed-Edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

³⁹主がイスラエルに命じられた律法にしるされたすべてのことにしたがって燔祭の壇の上に朝夕たえず燔祭を主にささげた。

³⁹and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the tabernacle of Yahweh in the high place that was at Gibeon,

⁴⁰また彼らとともにヘマン、エドトンおよびほかの選ばれて名をしるされた者どもがいて、主のいつくしみの世々限りなきことについて主に感謝した。

⁴⁰to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded to Israel;

⁴¹すなわちヘマンおよびエドトンは彼らとともにいて、ラッパ、シンバルおよびその他の聖歌のための楽器をとって音楽を奏し、エドトンの子らは門を守った。こうして民は皆おのおの家に帰り、ダビデはその家族を祝福するために帰って行った。

⁴¹and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever;

⁴²こうして民は皆おのおの家に帰り、ダビデはその家族を祝福するために帰って行った。

⁴²and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.

⁴³All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
