¹彼らは青糸、紫糸、緋糸で、聖所の務のための編物の服を作った。またアロンのために聖なる服を作った。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

¹Of the blue, purple, and scarlet, they made finely worked garments, for ministering in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²また金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸でエポデを作った。

²He made the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.

³また金を打ち延べて板とし、これを切って糸とし、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸に交えて、巧みな細工とした。

³They beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, in the purple, in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, the work of the skillful workman.

⁴また、これがために肩ひもを作ってこれにつけ、その両端でこれにつけた。

⁴They made shoulder straps for it, joined together. At the two ends it was joined together.

⁵The skillfully woven band that was on it, with which to fasten it on, was of the same piece, like its work; of gold, of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

⁶They worked the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold, engraved with the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the children of Israel.

⁷これをエポデの肩ひもにつけて、イスラエルの子たちの記念の石とした。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

⁷He put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

⁸また胸当を巧みなわざをもって、エポデの作りのように作った。すなわち金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で作った。

⁸He made the breastplate, the work of a skillful workman, like the work of the ephod; of gold, of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.

⁹胸当は二つに折って四角にした。すなわち二つに折って、長さを一指当りとし、幅も一指当りとした。

⁹It was square. They made the breastplate double. Its length was a span, and its breadth a span, being double.

¹⁰その中に宝石四列をはめた。すなわち、紅玉髄、貴かんらん石、水晶の列を第一列とし、

¹⁰They set in it four rows of stones. A row of ruby, topaz, and beryl was the first row;

¹¹第二列は、ざくろ石、るり、赤縞めのう、

¹¹and the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire or, lapis lazuli , and an emerald;

¹²第三列は黄水晶、めのう、紫水晶、

¹²and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;

¹³第四列は黄碧玉、縞めのう、碧玉であって、これらを金の編細工の中にはめ込んだ。

¹³and the fourth row, a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in gold settings.

¹⁴その宝石はイスラエルの子たちの名にしたがい、その名と等しく十二とし、おのおの印の彫刻のように、十二部族のためにその名を刻んだ。

¹⁴The stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, for the twelve tribes.

¹⁵またひも細工にねじた純金のくさりを胸当につけた。

¹⁵They made on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.

¹⁶また金の二つの編細工と、二つの金の環とを作り、その二つの環を胸当の両端につけた。

¹⁶They made two settings of gold, and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

¹⁷かの二筋の金のひもを胸当の端の二つの環につけた。

¹⁷They put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.

¹⁸ただし、その二筋のひもの他の両端を、かの二つの編細工につけ、エポデの肩ひもにつけて前にくるようにした。

¹⁸The other two ends of the two braided chains they put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod, in its front.

¹⁹また二つの金の環を作って、これを胸当の両端につけた。すなわちエポデに接する内側の縁にこれをつけた。

¹⁹They made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which was toward the side of the ephod inward.

²⁰また金の環二つを作って、これをエポデの二つの肩ひもの下の部分につけ、前の方で、そのつなぎ目に近く、エポデの帯の上の方にくるようにした。

²⁰They made two rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its front, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.

²¹胸当は青ひもをもって、その環をエポデの環に結びつけ、エポデの帯の上の方にくるようにした。こうして、胸当がエポデから離れないようにした。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

²¹They bound the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not come loose from the ephod, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²²またエポデに属する上服は、すべて青地の織物で作った。

²²He made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

²³上服の口はそのまん中にあって、その口の周囲には、よろいのえりのように縁をつけて、ほころびないようにした。

²³The opening of the robe in its midst was like the opening of a coat of mail, with a binding around its opening, that it should not be torn.

²⁴上服のすそには青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で、ざくろを作りつけ、

²⁴They made on the skirts of the robe pomegranates of blue, purple, scarlet, and twined linen.

²⁵また純金で鈴を作り、その鈴を上服のすその周囲の、ざくろとざくろとの間につけた。

²⁵They made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates around the skirts of the robe, between the pomegranates;

²⁶すなわち鈴にざくろ、鈴にざくろと、務の上服のすその周囲につけた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

²⁶a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, around the skirts of the robe, to minister in, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

²⁷またアロンとその子たちのために、亜麻糸で織った下服を作り、

²⁷They made the coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,

²⁸and the turban of fine linen, and the linen headbands of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twined linen,

²⁹and the sash of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, the work of the embroiderer, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

³⁰また純金をもって、聖なる冠の前板を作り、印の彫刻のように、その上に「主に聖なる者」という文字を書き、

³⁰They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it a writing, like the engravings of a signet: “HOLY TO YAHWEH.”

³¹これに青ひもをつけて、それを帽子の上に結びつけた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。

³¹They tied to it a lace of blue, to fasten it on the turban above, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

³²こうして会見の天幕なる幕屋の、もろもろの工事が終った。イスラエルの人々はすべて主がモーセに命じられたようにおこなった。

³²Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting was finished. The children of Israel did according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses; so they did.

³³彼らは幕屋と天幕およびそのもろもろの器をモーセのもとに携えてきた。すなわち、その鉤、その枠、その横木、その柱、その座、

³³They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent, with all its furniture, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,

³⁴あかね染めの雄羊の皮のおおい、じゅごんの皮のおおい、隔ての垂幕、

³⁴the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, the covering of sea cow hides, the veil of the screen,

³⁵あかしの箱と、そのさお、贖罪所、

³⁵the ark of the testimony with its poles, the mercy seat,

³⁶机と、そのもろもろの器、供えのパン、

³⁶the table, all its vessels, the show bread,

³⁷純金の燭台と、そのともしび皿、すなわち列に並べるともしび皿と、そのもろもろの器、およびそのともし油、

³⁷the pure lampstand, its lamps, even the lamps to be set in order, all its vessels, the oil for the light,

³⁸金の祭壇、注ぎ油、香ばしい薫香、幕屋の入口のとばり、

³⁸the golden altar, the anointing oil, the sweet incense, the screen for the door of the Tent,

³⁹青銅の祭壇、その青銅の格子と、そのさお、およびそのもろもろの器、洗盤とその台、

³⁹the bronze altar, its grating of brass, its poles, all of its vessels, the basin and its base,

⁴⁰庭のあげばり、その柱とその座、庭の門のとばり、そのひもとその釘、また会見の天幕の幕屋に用いるもろもろの器、

⁴⁰the hangings of the court, its pillars, its sockets, the screen for the gate of the court, its cords, its pins, all the instruments of the service of the tabernacle, for the Tent of Meeting,

⁴¹聖所で務をなす編物の服、すなわち祭司の務をなすための祭司アロンの聖なる服およびその子たちの服。

⁴¹the finely worked garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.

⁴²イスラエルの人々は、すべて主がモーセに命じられたように、そのすべての工事をした。モーセがそのすべての工事を見ると、彼らは主が命じられたとおりに、それをなしとげていたので、モーセは彼らを祝福した。

⁴²According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work.
