¹主はモーセを呼び、会見の幕屋からこれに告げて言われた、

¹ Yahweh “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. called to Moses, and spoke to him out of the Tent of Meeting, saying,

²「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『あなたがたのうちだれでも家畜の供え物を主にささげるときは、牛または羊を供え物としてささげなければならない。

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the livestock, from the herd and from the flock.

³もしその供え物が牛の燔祭であるならば、雄牛の全きものをささげなければならない。会見の幕屋の入口で、主の前に受け入れられるように、これをささげなければならない。

³“‘If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

⁴彼はその燔祭の獣の頭に手を置かなければならない。そうすれば受け入れられて、彼のためにあがないとなるであろう。

⁴He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

⁵彼は主の前でその子牛をほふり、アロンの子なる祭司たちは、その血を携えてきて、会見の幕屋の入口にある祭壇の周囲に、その血を注ぎかけなければならない。

⁵He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

⁶彼はまたその燔祭の獣の皮をはぎ、節々に切り分かたなければならない。

⁶He shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

⁷祭司アロンの子たちは祭壇の上に火を置き、その火の上にたきぎを並べ、

⁷The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;

⁸アロンの子なる祭司たちはその切り分けたものを、頭および脂肪と共に、祭壇の上にある火の上のたきぎの上に並べなければならない。

⁸and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;

⁹その内臓と足とは水で洗わなければならない。こうして祭司はそのすべてを祭壇の上で焼いて燔祭としなければならない。これは火祭であって、主にささげる香ばしいかおりである。

⁹but its innards and its legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall burn the whole on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁰もしその燔祭の供え物が群れの羊または、やぎであるならば、雄の全きものをささげなければならない。

¹⁰“‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep, or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without blemish.

¹¹彼は祭壇の北側で、主の前にこれをほふり、アロンの子なる祭司たちは、その血を祭壇の周囲に注ぎかけなければならない。

¹¹He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

¹²彼はまたこれを節々に切り分かち、祭司はこれを頭および脂肪と共に、祭壇の上にある火の上のたきぎの上に並べなければならない。

¹²He shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat. The priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar,

¹³その内臓と足とは水で洗わなければならない。こうして祭司はそのすべてを祭壇の上で焼いて燔祭としなければならない。これは火祭であって、主にささげる香ばしいかおりである。

¹³but the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁴もし主にささげる供え物が、鳥の燔祭であるならば、山ばと、または家ばとのひなを、その供え物としてささげなければならない。

¹⁴“‘If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

¹⁵祭司はこれを祭壇に携えて行き、その首を摘み破り、祭壇の上で焼かなければならない。その血は絞り出して祭壇の側面に塗らなければならない。

¹⁵The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar;

¹⁶またその餌袋は羽と共に除いて、祭壇の東の方にある灰捨場に捨てなければならない。これは、その翼を握って裂かなければならない。ただし引き離してはならない。祭司はこれを祭壇の上で、火の上のたきぎの上で燔祭として焼かなければならない。これは火祭であって、主にささげる香ばしいかおりである。

¹⁶and he shall take away its crop with its filth, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.

¹⁷これは、その翼を握って裂かなければならない。ただし引き離してはならない。祭司はこれを祭壇の上で、火の上のたきぎの上で燔祭として焼かなければならない。これは火祭であって、主にささげる香ばしいかおりである。

¹⁷He shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
