Darby's Translation

1 Corinthians

3

1Ay atmaten, ur ufiɣ ara amek ara wen-mmeslayeɣ am akken țmeslayeɣ i yemdanen yesɛan Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen, meɛna mmeslayeɣ-awen am yemdanen n ddunit, am wid yellan d arrac deg ubrid n Lmasiḥ.
1And *I*, brethren, have not been able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly; as to babes in Christ.
2Fkiɣ-awen ayefki mačči d aɣṛum axaṭer aɣṛum ur as-tezmirem ara, yerna ar tura ur as-tezmirem ara, mazal-ikkun tețɛicim s lebɣi n tnefsit nwen.
2I have given you milk to drink, not meat, for ye have not yet been able, nor indeed are ye yet able;
3Imi mazal gar-awen tismin d umceččew, tbeggnem-d belli mazal ikkun tețɛicim s lɛeqliya-nwen yerna tleḥḥum am yemdanen n ddunit.
3for ye are yet carnal. For whereas [there are] among you emulation and strife, are ye not carnal, and walk according to man?
4M'ara yini yiwen deg-wen : « nekk ddiɣ d Bulus », wayeḍ ad yini : « Nekk țekkiɣ d Abulus » ; eɛni ayagi mačči d lɛeqliya n ddunit ?
4For when one says, *I* am of Paul, and another, *I* of Apollos, are ye not men?
5D acu-t Abulus, d acu-t Bulus ? D iqeddacen kan i kkun-id-yewwin aț-țamnem s Lmasiḥ ! Yal yiwen deg-nneɣ ixeddem ayen i s-d-yefka Sidi Ṛebbi a t-yexdem.
5Who then is Apollos, and who Paul? Ministering servants, through whom ye have believed, and as the Lord has given to each.
6Nekk ẓẓiɣ imɣi, Abulus issew-it, meɛna d Sidi Ṛebbi i t-issegman.
6*I* have planted; Apollos watered; but God has given the increase.
7Ihi mačči d win ițeẓẓun neɣ d win yesswayen i gesɛan azal meɛna d Sidi Ṛebbi yessegmuyen.
7So that neither the planter is anything, nor the waterer; but God the giver of the increase.
8Win ițeẓẓun d win yesswayen ɛedlen ; mkul yiwen a s-yerr Sidi Ṛebbi s wakken yuklal di lxedma-s.
8But the planter and the waterer are one; but each shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9Axaṭer aql-aɣ neddukkel d iqeddacen ɣef lecɣal n Sidi Ṛebbi. Kunwi d iger i gxeddem Sidi Ṛebbi, d axxam i gbennu.
9For we are God's fellow-workmen; ye are God's husbandry, God's building.
10S ṛṛeḥma i yi-d-yefka Sidi Ṛebbi, am umusnaw n lebni, nekk sserseɣ lsas, wayeḍ yebna fell-as ; meɛna yal yiwen ad iḥader amek ara yebnu.
10According to the grace of God which has been given to me, as a wise architect, I have laid the foundation, but another builds upon it. But let each see how he builds upon it.
11Yiwen ur izmir ad issers lsas nniḍen deg wemkan n win yersen yakan : Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
11For other foundation can no man lay besides that which [is] laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12Ma yella win yebnan ɣef lsas-agi ama s ddheb, ama s lfeṭṭa, ama s yeẓra ɣlayen, ama s wesɣaṛ neɣ s wusaɣuṛ d walim,
12Now if any one build upon [this] foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, straw,
13mkul yiwen a d-iban ccɣel-is ass n lḥisab, axaṭer mkul ccɣel ad iɛeddi di tmes ; ț-țimes ara d-ibeggnen lecɣal n yal yiwen ma seḥḥan neɣ ur ṣeḥḥan ara.
13the work of each shall be made manifest; for the day shall declare [it], because it is revealed in fire; and the fire shall try the work of each what it is.
14Win yebnan ɣef lsas, ur t-tečči ara tmes wayen akken yebna, a t-id-yaweḍ lxiṛ ameqqran ;
14If the work of any one which he has built upon [the foundation] shall abide, he shall receive a reward.
15ma d win iwumi tečča tmes wayen yexdem, a s-iṛuḥ lxiṛ-is ; ma d nețța ad ițțusellek, am win izegren times imneɛ.
15If the work of any one shall be consumed, he shall suffer loss, but *he* shall be saved, but so as through [the] fire.
16Ur teẓrim ara belli kunwi d lǧameɛ n Sidi Ṛebbi i tellam ? Ur teẓrim ara belli Ṛṛuḥ-is yezdeɣ deg-wen ?
16Do ye not know that ye are [the] temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17Ihi win yesseɣlin axxam n Sidi Ṛebbi, Sidi Ṛebbi a t-isseɣli axaṭer axxam n Sidi Ṛebbi d imqeddes, d kunwi i d axxam-is.
17If any one corrupt the temple of God, *him* shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are *ye*.
18Ḥadret ad yili win ara iɣuṛṛen iman-is ! Ma yella gar-awen win iḥesben iman-is d aɛeqli di ddunit-a, ilaq ad yuɣal d amehbul iwakken ad yili d aɛeqli.
18Let no one deceive himself: if any one thinks himself to be wise among you in this world, let him become foolish, that he may be wise.
19Axaṭer tamusni n ddunit-agi, ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi d lehbala. Tira iqedsen nnant-ed : Sidi Ṛebbi yețțeṭṭef imusnawen di tḥila-nsen.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written, He who takes the wise in their craftiness.
20Yura daɣen : Sidi Ṛebbi yessen ixemmimen n imusnawen, yeẓra belli d ixemmimen ur nesɛi azal.
20And again, [The] Lord knows the reasonings of the wise that they are vain.
21Ḥadret ad yili win ara izuxxen s yemdanen, axaṭer kullec d ayla nwen ;
21So that let no one boast in men; for all things are yours.
22Bulus, Abulus neɣ Buṭrus, ddunit, tudert, lmut, lweqt-a d lweqt i d-iteddun, kullec d ayla-nwen ;
22Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or [the] world, or life, or death, or things present, or things coming, all are yours;
23kunwi d ayla n Lmasiḥ, Lmasiḥ d ayla n Sidi Ṛebbi.
23and *ye* [are] Christ's, and Christ [is] God's.
