¹Atan a n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-wen tikkelt tis tlata, mkul taluft aț-țefru s sin neɣ tlata inigan akken yura di tira iqedsen.

¹This third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every matter be established.

²Asmi i n-usiɣ ɣuṛ-wen tikkelt tis snat nniɣ-awen-t-id, tura daɣen ɣas ur lliɣ ara yid-wen, a t-id-ɛiwdeɣ ama i wid-nni yeɣlin di ddnub deg wayen iɛeddan, ama i wiyaḍ : asm'ara n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-wen ur țqileɣ ula d yiwen,

²I have declared beforehand, and I say beforehand as present the second time, and now absent, to those that have sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare.

³imi tebɣam aț-țetḥeqqeqem belli d Lmasiḥ i d-iheddṛen seg-i ; nețța ur nelli ara d win ifeclen ɣuṛ-wen lameɛna isbeggen-ed tazmert-is gar awen.

³Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, (who is not weak towards you, but is powerful among you,

⁴?-țideț yețwaṣleb ɣef ddemma n wefcal-ines, lameɛna yedder s tezmert n Sidi Ṛebbi ; ula d nukni nefcel imi nella di Lmasiḥ lameɛna a nidir yid-es s tezmert n Sidi Ṛebbi di leqdic-nneɣ gar-awen.

⁴for if indeed he has been crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God's power; for indeed *we* are weak in him, but we shall live with him by God's power towards you,)

⁵Jeṛṛbet tmeyyzem deg iman-nwen iwakken aț-țwalim ma tețțeddum s liman neɣ ala ; eɛni ur teɛqilem ara belli Ɛisa Lmasiḥ yella deg-wen ? Neɣ ahat tfeclem mi tețțujeṛbem ?

⁵examine your own selves if ye be in the faith; prove your own selves: do ye not recognise yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless indeed ye be reprobates?

⁶Lameɛna ssarameɣ aț-țestɛeṛfem belli nukni nbeggen-ed liman-nneɣ di teswiɛt n ujeṛṛeb !

⁶Now I hope that ye will know that *we* are not reprobates.

⁷Ndeɛɛu ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi iwakken ur txeddmem ara cceṛ, mačči iwakken a d-nbeggen belli nesɛa lḥeqq, lameɛna nebɣa kan aț-țxedmem lxiṛ, ɣas ma nban-ed belli nefcel deg ujeṛṛeb.

⁷But we pray to God that ye may do nothing evil; not that *we* may appear approved, but that *ye* may do what is right, and *we* be as reprobates.

⁸Axaṭer ur nesɛi ara tazmert iwakken a nxalef tideț, lameɛna nesɛa kan tazmert s wayes ara neqdec ɣef tideț.

⁸For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

⁹Nfeṛṛeḥ s wefcal-nneɣ ma yella kunwi tǧehdem ; m'ara ndeɛɛu ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi fell-awen, nessaram aț-țennernim di liman.

⁹For we rejoice when *we* may be weak and *ye* may be powerful. But this also we pray for, your perfecting.

¹⁰Atah iwacu i wen-țaruɣ akkagi m'ara beɛdeɣ fell-awen, iwakken asm'ara iliɣ gar-awen, ur țiwɛiṛeɣ ara ɣuṛ-wen s tezmert i yi-d-ifka Sidi Ṛebbi, iwakken a kkun-sǧehdeɣ mačči iwakken a kkun-sseɣliɣ.

¹⁰On this account I write these things being absent, that being present I may not use severity according to the authority which the Lord has given me for building up, and not for overthrowing.

¹¹Tura ay atmaten ilit di lfeṛḥ, ssimɣuṛet liman-nwen, nadit amek ara tawḍem ɣer lekmal, mseǧhadet wway gar-awen, msefhamet, ɛicet di lehna, imiren Sidi Ṛebbi Bab n talwit akk-d leḥmala ad yili yid-wen.

¹¹For the rest, brethren, rejoice; be perfected; be encouraged; be of one mind; be at peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

¹²?emsalamet wway gar-awen s sslam n tegmaț. Atmaten meṛṛa țsellimen fell-awen.

¹²Salute one another with a holy kiss.

¹³Ṛṛeḥma n Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, leḥmala n Sidi Ṛebbi ț-țdukli i d-ițțak Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen ad ilin yid-wen meṛṛa !

¹³All the saints salute you.

¹⁴The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, [be] with you all.
