1Nebɣa a kkun-nesseɛlem ay atmaten ɣef wayen yeɛnan ṛṛeḥma i d-yefka Sidi Ṛebbi i tejmuyaɛ n imasiḥiyen yellan di tmurt n Masidunya ;
1But we make known to you, brethren, the grace of God bestowed in the assemblies of Macedonia;
2țwajeṛben s waṭas n lmeḥnat, lameɛna lfeṛḥ-nsen yețnerni. ?as akken d igellilen i llan yerna xuṣṣen aṭas, seddqen mbla cceḥḥa ;
2that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty has abounded to the riches of their [free-hearted] liberality.
3fkan-d ayen iwumi zemren ; aql-iyi d inigi, zemreɣ a d-iniɣ fkan-d nnig n tezmert-nsen yerna xedmen ayagi s lebɣi-nsen.
3For according to [their] power, I bear witness, and beyond [their] power, [they were] willing of their own accord,
4Ssutren-aɣ-d s uḥellel iwakken a sen-nexdem lemziya a d-fken ula d nutni amur-nsen n ssadaqa-agi i njemmeɛ iwakken a ț-țnawi i watmaten n tmurt n Yahuda yellan di lexṣas.
4begging of us with much entreaty [to give effect to] the grace and fellowship of the service which [was to be rendered] to the saints.
5Zwaren deg iman-nsen mi fkan tudert-nsen i Ṛebbi, imiren s lebɣi n Sidi Ṛebbi, rnan qeddcen fell-aɣ seg ul ; ayagi sennig wayen nessaram !
5And not according as we hoped, but they gave themselves first to the Lord, and to us by God's will.
6S wakka ihi, nweṣṣa gma-tneɣ Titus ad ikemmel lxedma-nni i gebda ɣuṛ-wen ɣef wayen yeɛnan ssadaqa agi.
6So that we begged Titus that, according as he had before begun, so he would also complete as to you this grace also;
7but even as ye abound in every way, in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in love from you to us, that ye may abound in this grace also.
8Mačči d lameṛ i bɣiɣ a wen-d fkeɣ ; ḥkiɣ-awen amek i zewṛen wiyaḍ, iwakken a kkun-jeṛṛbeɣ ma tesɛam leḥmala n tideț neɣ ala.
8I do not speak as commanding [it], but through the zeal of others, and proving the genuineness of your love.
9Tessnem ṛṛeḥma n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ yellan d Bab n lerbaḥ n ddunit meṛṛa, yuɣal d igellil ɣef ddemma-nwen iwakken a kkun isserbeḥ s tigellelt-ines.
9For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that for your sakes he, being rich, became poor, in order that *ye* by *his* poverty might be enriched.
10A wen-d-fkeɣ ṛṛay-iw deg wayagi axaṭer d ayen i wen-ilhan : aseggas iɛeddan, d kunwi i d imezwura i gebɣan aț-țɛiwnem atmaten n tmurt n Yahuda yellan di lexṣaṣ, d kunwi daɣen i d imezwura i gebdan tjemmɛem-d ssadaqa-agi ;
10And I give [my] opinion in this, for this is profitable for you who began before, not only to do, but also to be willing, a year ago.
11ihi tura kemmlet ccɣel-agi i tebdam, s wayen iwumi tzemrem ; am akken i t-tebdam seg ul, kemmlet-eț s wul.
11But now also complete the doing of it; so that as [there was] the readiness to be willing, so also to complete out of what ye have.
12Sidi Ṛebbi iqebbel ssadaqa-nneɣ, lameɛna s wakken tella tezmert-nneɣ, mačči sennig wayen nezmer.
12For if the readiness be there, [a man is] accepted according to what he may have, not according to what he has not.
13Ur nebɣi ara a d-nini xlut ixxamen-nwen iwakken aț-țɛiwnem wiyaḍ, lameɛna iwakken aț-țemɛadalem ;
13For [it is] not in order that there may be ease for others, and for you distress,
14ayen tesɛam d zzyada ad yenfeɛ wid ixuṣṣen tura, iwakken asm'ara txuṣṣem kunwi, a kkun-ɛiwnen s wayen sɛan d zzyada ; s wakka ihi aț-țemɛadalem,
14but [on the principle] of equality; in the present time your abundance for their lack, that their abundance may be for your lack, so that there should be equality.
15akken yura di tira iqedsen : Win yesɛan aṭas ur yesɛi ara zzyada, ma d win yesɛan cwiṭ ur t-ixuṣṣ kra .
15According as it is written, He who [gathered] much had no excess, and he who [gathered] little was nothing short.
16A neḥmed Sidi Ṛebbi ɣef gma tneɣ Titus imi yețḥebbiṛ fell-awen am nukni.
16But thanks [be] to God, who gives the same diligent zeal for you in the heart of Titus.
17Yeqbel mi t-in-nceggeɛ, yerna uqbel a s-nini yella iqsed a n-iruḥ ɣuṛ wen s lfeṛḥ d ameqqran.
17For he received indeed the entreaty, but, being full of zeal, he went of his own accord to you;
18A nceggeɛ yid-es yiwen seg watmaten-nneɣ i cekkṛent akk tejmuyaɛ n watmaten ɣef lxedma-ines deg ubecceṛ n lexbaṛ n lxiṛ ;
18but we have sent with him the brother whose praise [is] in the glad tidings through all the assemblies;
19ur yețwaxtaṛ ara kan d aṛfiq, lameɛna ț-țijmuyaɛ n watmaten i t-ixtaṛen iwakken a ɣ-iɛiwen di ccɣel agi yeɛnan ssadaqa ɣef ddemma n tmanegt n Sidi Ṛebbi, s wakka daɣen a d-nbeggen acḥal nebɣa a nɛiwen wiyaḍ.
19and not only [so], but [is] also chosen by the assemblies as our fellow-traveller with this grace, ministered by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and [a witness of] our readiness;
20Nețḥadar iman-nneɣ iwakken ur heddṛen ara fell-aɣ lɣaci ɣef wayen yeɛnan aḍebbeṛ i nețḍebbiṛ di ssadaqa agi, axaṭer aṭas n yedrimen i d nejmeɛ ;
20avoiding this, that any one should blame us in this abundance [which is] administered by us;
21nețqellib ayen yelhan ama zdat Sidi Ṛebbi ama zdat yemdanen.
21for we provide for things honest, not only before [the] Lord, but also before men.
22Nceggeɛ yid-sen gma-tneɣ agi i njeṛṛeb acḥal d abrid di yal taswiɛt, nwala amek yebɣa ad iqdec seg ul ; tikkelt-agi ẓẓwaṛa-ines di leqdic ɣef Sidi Ṛebbi tban-ed akteṛ, axaṭer yețkel fell-awen.
22And we have sent with them our brother whom we have often proved to be of diligent zeal in many things, and now more diligently zealous through the great confidence [he has] as to you.
23?ef wayen yeɛnan gma-tneɣ Titus, d arfiq-iw yerna ixeddem yid-i ɣef ddemma-nwen, ma d atmaten nniḍen, d imceggɛen n tejmuyaɛ n watmaten ; qeddcen iwakken a d tban tmanegt n Lmasiḥ.
23Whether as regards Titus, [he is] my companion and fellow-labourer in your behalf; or our brethren, [they are] deputed messengers of assemblies, Christ's glory.
24Sbeggnet-ed ihi belli tḥemmlem ten s tideț iwakken tijmuyaɛ n watmaten ad ẓrent belli nesɛa lḥeqq imi nețzuxxu yis-wen.
24Shew therefore to them, before the assemblies, the proof of your love, and of our boasting about you.
