1Paul and Silvanus and Timotheus to the assembly of Thessalonians in God our Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
2Ṛṛeḥma ț-țalwit a wen-d țțunefkent s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi.
2Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
3Ay atmaten eɛzizen, imi liman-nwen simmal yețnerni, simmal tețțemyeḥmalem wway gar-awen, eɛni mačči d lḥeqq ma nețḥemmid Sidi Ṛebbi fell-awen am iḍ am ass ?
3We ought to thank God always for you, brethren, even as it is meet, because your faith increases exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all towards one another abounds;
4Newweḍ armi nețzuxxu yis-wen di yal tajmaɛt n watmaten, nețțawi-kkun d lemtel axaṭer ɣas akken tenneɛtabem tețwaqehṛem, tṣebrem, teṭṭfem di liman-nwen.
4so that we ourselves make our boast in you in the assemblies of God for your endurance and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations, which ye are sustaining;
5Sidi Ṛebbi d bab n lḥeqq, ma yella iɛemmed aț-țenneɛtabem akkagi, yebɣa a kkun-yerr d wid yuklalen tagelda-ines ; ț-țagelda-agi i ɣef tenneɛtabem.
5a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that ye should be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for the sake of which ye also suffer;
6Axaṭer Sidi Ṛebbi yellan d Bab n lḥeqq, a d-yerr leqheṛ ɣef wid i kkun-ițqehhiṛen,
6if at least [it is a] righteous thing with God to render tribulation to those that trouble you,
7a kkun-iṣebber yid-nneɣ, kunwi yețwaqehṛen. Ayagi a d-idṛu asm'ara d-yuɣal Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, m'ara d-iṣubb seg igenwan nețța d lmalayekkat-is
7and to you that are troubled repose with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven, with [the] angels of his power,
8di tlemmast n uḥeǧǧaǧu n tmes iwakken ad iɛaqeb wid iɛuṣan Sidi Ṛebbi, ur neqbil ara lexbaṛ n lxiṛ n Sidna Ɛisa.
8in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who know not God, and those who do not obey the glad tidings of our Lord Jesus Christ;
9Lɛiqab ara ten-id-yasen, ț-țawaɣit ur nețfaka, Sidi Ṛebbi a ten-iḥeṛṛem ɣef udem-is, ur țwalin ara lɛaḍima-s.
9who shall pay the penalty [of] everlasting destruction from [the] presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his might,
10Ayagi a d-idṛu asm'ara d-yas Sidna Ɛisa ; ass-nni wid yumnen yis ad tɛeǧǧben deg-s, a t-ḥemden m'ara t-walin di lɛaḍima-s ! Ula d kunwi aț-țilim gar-asen axaṭer tumnem s lexbaṛ n lxiṛ i wen-nbecceṛ.
10when he shall have come to be glorified in his saints, and wondered at in all that have believed, (for our testimony to you has been believed,) in that day.
11?ef ayagi i ndeɛɛu ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi fell-awen am iḍ am ass, iwakken a kkun-yerr d wid yuklalen tudert i ɣer wen-d-issawel. Nessutur-as daɣen a wen-d-ifk tazmert, iwakken aț-țxedmem ayen akken tessaramem n wayen yelhan, yerna ad ibarek lecɣal txeddmem deg webrid n Sidna Ɛisa.
11To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and fulfil all [the] good pleasure of [his] goodness and [the] work of faith with power,
12S wakka imdanen ad ḥemden isem-is ɣef ddemma n tikli-nwen yelhan, kunwi daɣen aț-țwaɛuzzem s ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi akk-d ṛṛeḥma n Ssid-nneɣ Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
12so that the name of our Lord Jesus [Christ] may be glorified in you and *ye* in him, according to the grace of our God, and of [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
