Darby's Translation

Acts

15

1Kra n yemdanen i d-yusan si tmurt n Yahuda ɣer temdint n Antyuc, bɣan ad slemden atmaten, qqaṛen-asen : Ma yella ur teḍhiṛem ara am akken i d-tenna ccariɛa n Musa, ur tezmirem ara aț-țețwasellkem
1And certain persons, having come down from Judaea, taught the brethren, If ye shall not have been circumcised according to the custom of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2Bulus d Barnabas ur qbilen ara ayen i sselmaden yergazen-agi i d-yusan si tmurt n Yahuda dɣa yekker lxilaf ameqqran gar-asen. Ceggɛen Bulus d Barnabas akk-d kra seg-sen, ad alin ɣer ṛṛusul akk-d imeqqranen yellan di temdint n Lquds iwakken ad msefhamen ɣef temsalt-agi n ṭṭhaṛa.
2A commotion therefore having taken place, and no small discussion on the part of Paul and Barnabas against them, they arranged that Paul and Barnabas, and certain others from amongst them, should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.
3Tajmaɛt-nni n watmaten n temdint n Antyuc tɛawen-iten deg wayen ara ḥwiǧen deg webrid-nsen ; dɣa ṛuḥen, ɛeddan si tmura n Finisya akk-d Samarya, ḥekkun di mkul amkan amek umnen s Sidna Ɛisa leǧnas ur nelli ara n wat Isṛail. Mi slan i wannect-agi, feṛḥen aṭas watmaten.
3They therefore, having been set on their way by the assembly, passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, relating the conversion of [those of] the nations. And they caused great joy to all the brethren.
4Mi wwḍen ɣer temdint n Lquds, tesṭerḥeb yis-sen tejmaɛt n watmaten d ṛṛusul akk-d imeqqranen n tejmaɛt ; nutni ḥkan-asen lecɣal imeqqranen i gexdem Sidi Ṛebbi gar-asen.
4And being arrived at Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly, and the apostles, and the elders, and related all that God had wrought with them.
5Kra si terbaɛt n ifariziyen i gumnen s Sidna Ɛisa kkren-d nnan : Ilaq aț-ḍehhṛem i watmaten ur nelli ara n wat Isṛail yerna a sen tamṛem ad tebɛen ccariɛa n Sidna Musa.
5And some of those who were of the sect of the Pharisees, who believed, rose up from among [them], saying that they ought to circumcise them and enjoin them to keep the law of Moses.
6Dɣa ṛṛusul akk-d imeqqranen n tejmaɛt nnejmaɛen iwakken ad frun taluft-agi.
6And the apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.
7Mi ketṛen deg wawal, ikker-ed Butṛus yenna-yasen : Ay atmaten, teẓram belli Sidi Ṛebbi yextaṛ-iyi-d gar-awen seg wass amezwaru iwakken ad beccṛeɣ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ i leǧnas ur nelli ara n wat Isṛail, akken ad amnen.
7And much discussion having taken place, Peter, standing up, said to them, Brethren, *ye* know that from the earliest days God amongst you chose that the nations by my mouth should hear the word of the glad tidings and believe.
8Sidi Ṛebbi yessnen ulawen, ibeggen-ed belli iqbel-iten imi i sen-yefka Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen am akken i ɣ-t-id-yefka i nukkni ;
8And the heart-knowing God bore them witness, giving [them] the Holy Spirit as to us also,
9ur yexdim ara lxilaf gar-aɣ d yid-sen, imi i gṣeffa ulawen-nsen s liman ula d nutni.
9and put no difference between us and them, having purified their hearts by faith.
10Ihi tura acuɣeṛ i tețjeṛṛibem Sidi Ṛebbi, mi tebɣam aț-țessersem ɣef tuyat n wid yumnen azaglu ur nerfid nukkni, ur rfiden lejdud-nneɣ ;
10Now therefore why tempt ye God, by putting a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?
11lameɛna s ṛṛeḥma n Sidna Ɛisa swayes i numen, i nețțusellek am akken țțusellken ula d nutni.
11But we believe that we shall be saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same manner as they also.
12Akken ma llan di tejmaɛt ssusmen, dɣa smeḥsisen i Bulus d Barnabas i d-iḥekkun licaṛat d leɛǧayeb i gexdem Sidi Ṛebbi yis-sen ger leǧnas ur nelli ara n wat Isṛail.
12And all the multitude kept silence and listened to Barnabas and Paul relating all the signs and wonders which God had wrought among the nations by them.
13Mi kfan ameslay, inṭeq Yeɛqub yenna-d : Ay atmaten, ḥesset-iyi-d : Tura
13And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Brethren, listen to me:
14Semɛun yeḥka-d amek i d-ixtaṛ Sidi Ṛebbi si ger leǧnas si tazwara, lumma ara yeddun s yisem-is.
14Simon has related how God first visited to take out of [the] nations a people for his name.
15S wakka, yedṛa-d wayen i d nnan lenbiya am akken yura di tektabt iqedsen :
15And with this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written:
16Deg ussan-nni, a d-uɣaleɣ a s-ɛiwdeɣ lebni i wexxam n Dawed ; axxam-nni yeɣlin, ad sbeddeɣ leḥyuḍ-is ihudden,
16After these things I will return, and will rebuild the tabernacle of David which is fallen, and will rebuild its ruins, and will set it up,
17iwakken ayen i d-iqqimen seg imdanen akk-d leǧnas meṛṛa i geslan s yisem-iw, ad nadin ɣef Sidi Ṛebbi.
17so that the residue of men may seek out the Lord, and all the nations on whom my name is invoked, saith [the] Lord, who does these things
18Akka i d-yenna Sidi Ṛebbi i gxeddmen lecɣal-agi i d-ihegga si zik.
18known from eternity.
19Ihi a wen-d-iniɣ : lemmer ufiɣ, ur nrennu ara aɣilif i wid ur nelli ara n wat Isṛail, i gumnen s Sidna Ɛisa.
19Wherefore *I* judge, not to trouble those who from the nations turn to God;
20Lameɛna a sen-naru tabṛaț iwakken ad ṭṭixṛen ɣef wučči n weksum immezlen i lmeṣnuɛat d ssadat. Ad ttixṛen daɣen i yir tikli, i wučči n lmal immurḍsen akk-d tissit n idammen,
20but to write to them to abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood.
21axaṭer si zzman aqdim llan yemdanen ițbecciṛen ccariɛa n Musa di mkul tamdint, yerna mkul ass n westeɛfu qqaṛen taktabt-is di leǧwameɛ n wat Isṛail.
21For Moses, from generations of old, has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath.
22Ihi ṛṛusul, imeqqranen n tejmaɛt akk-d watmaten meṛṛa walan belli d ṛṛay yelhan ma yella xtaṛen-d kra n watmaten si gar-asen, iwakken a ten-ceggɛen ɣer temdint n Antyuc nutni d Bulus akk-d Barnabas. Xtaṛen Yuda, ițusemman Barsaba akk-d Silas ; d irgazen i țqadaṛen watmaten.
22Then it seemed good to the apostles and to the elders, with the whole assembly, to send chosen men from among them with Paul and Barnabas to Antioch, Judas called Barsabas and Silas, leading men among the brethren,
23Fkan asen tabṛaț i deg uran : Ay atmaten ur nelli ara n wat Isṛail, i gzedɣen di temdinin n Antyuc, n Surya akk-d Silisya, țsellimen-d fell-awen ṛṛusul akk-d imeqqranen n tejmaɛt akk-d watmaten n temdint n Lquds.
23having by their hand written [thus]: The apostles, and the elders, and the brethren, to the brethren who are from among [the] nations at Antioch, and [in] Syria and Cilicia, greeting:
24Nesla belli kra n watmaten-nneɣ ṛuḥen-d ɣuṛ-wen mbla ma nefka-yasen lameṛ, rwin-kkun s yimeslayen-nsen, skecmen-awen ccekk.
24Inasmuch as we have heard that some who went out from amongst us have troubled you by words, upsetting your souls, [saying that ye must be circumcised and keep the law]; to whom we gave no commandment;
25Tura mi nemcawaṛ, neqsed s yiwen ṛṛay a d-nextiṛ kra n watmaten, ara wen-nceggeɛ nutni d watmaten nneɣ eɛzizen Bulus d Barnabas ;
25it seemed good to us, having arrived at a common judgment, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
26nutni i gsebblen tudert nsen ɣef yisem n Sidna Ɛisa Lmasiḥ. +
26men who have given up their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27Nceggeɛ-awen ihi Yuda akk-d Silas ara wen-d-yeṣṣiwḍen s yiman nsen imeslayen-agi :
27We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who themselves also will tell you by word [of mouth] the same things.
28Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen akk-d nukkni, nwala d ayen yelhan m'ur nḥettem ara fell-awen ayen nniḍen sennig wayen ilaqen,
28For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
29yeɛni aț-țettixṛem i wučči n iseflawen yemmezlen i lmeṣnuɛat, i tissit n idammen, i lmal yemmuṛdsen d zzna. D ayen yelhan ma tḥudrem iman-nwen ɣef wannect-agi. Qqimet di lehna.
29to abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication; keeping yourselves from which ye will do well. Farewell.
30Imiren wid-nni yețwaxtaṛen ǧǧan atmaten di lehna, ṛuḥen ɣer temdint n Antyuc. Dinna jemɛen-d atmaten, fkan-asen tabṛaț-nni.
30They therefore, being let go, came to Antioch, and having gathered the multitude delivered to [them] the epistle.
31Mi ț-id-ɣṛan, feṛḥen aṭas s lewṣayat yellan deg-s d yimeslayen i ten-isǧehden.
31And having read it, they rejoiced at the consolation.
32Yuda d Silas iwumi yețțunefk a d-țxebbiṛen s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi, nhan atmaten-nni, sǧehden-ten s waṭas n yimeslayen.
32And Judas and Silas, being themselves also prophets, exhorted the brethren with much discourse, and strengthened them.
33Mi sɛeddan dinna kra n wussan, serrḥen-asen watmaten ad uɣalen di lehna ɣer wid i ten-id-iceggɛen ;
33And having passed some time [there], they were let go in peace from the brethren to those who sent them.
34ma d Silas iɛǧeb-as lḥal yebɣa ad yernu kra n wussan dinna.
35And Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and announcing the glad tidings, with many others also, of the word of the Lord.
35Bulus d Barnabas qqimen di temdint-agi n Antyuc , sselmaden, țbecciṛen awal n Sidi Ṛebbi nutni d waṭas n watmaten nniḍen.
36But after certain days Paul said to Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city where we have announced the word of the Lord, [and see] how they are getting on.
36Mi ɛeddan kra n wussan, Bulus yenna-yas i Barnabas : Eyya a nuɣal a nesteqsi ɣef watmaten yellan di temdinin anda nbecceṛ awal n Sidi Ṛebbi, iwakken a nẓer amek i țilin.
37And Barnabas proposed to take with [them] John also, called Mark;
37Barnabas yebɣa ad yawi yid-sen Yuḥenna ițusemman Maṛqus,
38but Paul thought it not well to take with them him who had abandoned them, [going back] from Pamphylia, and had not gone with them to the work.
38lameɛna Bulus ur yeqbil ara ad awin yid-sen win akken i ten yeǧǧan di tmurt n Bamfilya, yerna ur ten-iɛawen ara di ccɣel-nsen.
39There arose therefore very warm feeling, so that they separated from one another; and Barnabas taking Mark sailed away to Cyprus;
39Ikker yiwen lxilaf gar-asen armi mfaṛaqen. Barnabas yewwi yid-es Maṛqus, rekben di lbabuṛ ɣer tegzirt n Qubṛus,
40but Paul having chosen Silas went forth, committed by the brethren to the grace of God.
40ma d Bulus yextaṛ Silas ad iddu yid-es. Atmaten n tejmaɛt wekklen-t i ṛṛeḥma n Sidi Ṛebbi, dɣa iṛuḥ.
41And he passed through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the assemblies.
41Yekka-d nețța d Silas si tmura n Surya akk-d Silisya, isseǧhad tijmaɛin n watmaten.
