1

1Zik-nni, acḥal iberdan i d-ihdeṛ Sidi Ṛebbi seg yimi n lenbiya s țebcirat yemxalafen ;
1God having spoken in many parts and in many ways formerly to the fathers in the prophets,
2ma deg ussan-agi yellan d ussan ineggura, yemmeslay-aɣ-d s Mmi-s, yerra kullec ger ifassen-is, yis i d-ixleq ddunit meṛṛa.
2at the end of these days has spoken to us in [the person of the] Son, whom he has established heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3D nețța i d-isbeggnen ccbiha n tideț akk-d tmanegt tameqqrant n Sidi Ṛebbi akken tella, s tezmert n wawal-is i gbedd lsas n ddunit meṛṛa. Mi gessazdeg imdanen si ddnubat-nsen, yeṭṭef amkan n lḥekma deg igenwan ɣer tama tayeffust n Sidi Ṛebbi ;
3who being [the] effulgence of his glory and [the] expression of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, having made [by himself] the purification of sins, set himself down on the right hand of the greatness on high,
4yekka-d sennig n lmalayekkat, axaṭer Sidi Ṛebbi yefka-yas isem yugaren isem-nsent.
4taking a place by so much better than the angels, as he inherits a name more excellent than they.
5Anwa lmelk iwumi yenna Sidi Ṛebbi : Kečč d Mmi, d nekk i k-id-yefkan ɣer ddunit ass-a . Anwa lmelk i ɣef i d-yenna : Nekk ad iliɣ d Baba-s, nețța ad yili d Mm i.
5For to which of the angels said he ever, *Thou* art my Son: this day have *I* begotten thee? and again, *I* will be to him for father, and *he* shall be to me for son?
6Asmi i d-yefka amenzu ɣer ddunit yenna-d : L malayekkat meṛṛa n Sidi Ṛebbi ad seǧǧdent zdat-es a t-ɛebdent.
6and again, when he brings in the firstborn into the habitable world, he says, And let all God's angels worship him.
7Yenna-d daɣen ɣef lmalayekkat : Yesseqdac lmalayekkat-is am aḍu, iqeddacen-is am uḥeǧǧaǧu n tmes .
7And as to the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire;
8Ma ɣef Mmi-s yenna-d : Amkan n lḥekma-k a Ṛebbi ibedd i dayem, t azmert n tgeldit-ik, ț-țazmert taḥeqqit.
8but as to the Son, Thy throne, O God, [is] to the age of the age, and a sceptre of uprightness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Tḥemmleḍ lḥeqq tkeṛheḍ lbaṭel, daymi a Ṛebbi, Illu-inek , idhen aqeṛṛuy-ik s zzit n lfeṛḥ, isbedd-ik d agellid, d k ečč i gextaṛ ger yeṛfiqen-ik.
9Thou hast loved righteousness and hast hated lawlessness; therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with oil of gladness above thy companions.
10Yerna yenna : D kečč a Ṛebbi i gessersen lsas n ddunit si tazwara, d ifassen-ik i gfeṣṣlen igenwan ;
10And, *Thou* in the beginning, Lord, hast founded the earth, and works of thy hands are the heavens.
11 nutni ad fnun ma d kečč aț-țdumeḍ , ad uɣalen meṛṛa d iqdime n am llebsa taqdimt,
11They shall perish, but *thou* continuest still; and they all shall grow old as a garment,
12 a ten-tbeddleḍ a m akken tețwabeddal llebsa, a ten-tețleḍ am ubeṛnus, ma d kečč ur tețbeddileḍ ar a, ussan-ik ur țfakan ara .
12and as a covering shalt thou roll them up, and they shall be changed; but *thou* art the Same, and thy years shall not fail.
13Anwa lmelk iwumi yenna : ?ṭef amkan n lḥekma ɣer tama-w tayeffust, alamma rriɣ-ed iɛdawen-ik seddaw n iḍaṛṛen-ik ?
13But as to which of the angels said he ever, Sit at my right hand until I put thine enemies [as] footstool of thy feet?
14D acu-tent lmalayekkat ? D leṛwaḥ iqeddcen ɣef Sidi Ṛebbi, i d-ițceggiɛ iwakken ad ɛiwnent wid iwumi i d-yețțunefk leslak n Sidi Ṛebbi, d lweṛt !
14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out for service on account of those who shall inherit salvation?
