Hebrews

3

1Ihi ay atmaten yețwaxtaṛen, a wid iwumi i d-yessawel Sidi Ṛebbi aț-țweṛtem tageldit n igenwan, sserset tamuɣli-nwen ɣef Ɛisa, lmuqeddem ameqqran i d-iceggeɛ Sidi Ṛebbi i ɣef nețcehhid.
1Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of [the] heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus,
2Yexdem lebɣi n win i t-id iceggɛen am akken i gexdem Sidna Musa i wexxam n Sidi Ṛebbi.
2who is faithful to him that has constituted him, as Moses also in all his house.
3?-țideț Sidna Ɛisa yesɛa ccan akteṛ n Sidna Musa, imi win yebnan axxam, d nețța i gesɛan ccan akteṛ n wexxam yebna.
3For *he* has been counted worthy of greater glory than Moses, by how much he that has built it has more honour than the house.
4Axaṭer yal axxam yella win i t-yebnan, ma d win i d-ixelqen kra yellan, d Sidi Ṛebbi.
4For every house is built by some one; but he who has built all things [is] God.
5Sidna Musa yexdem ayen i glaqen a t-yexdem, yella am uqeddac ɣef wexxam n Sidi Ṛebbi iwakken a d ibeggen ayen ara d-ițțubeccṛen sya ɣer zdat.
5And Moses indeed [was] faithful in all his house, as a ministering servant, for a testimony of the things to be spoken after;
6Ma d Lmasiḥ yexdem ayen i glaq a t-yexdem, yesbedd-it am Mmi-s, d aqeṛṛuy n wexxam-is ; d nukni i d axxam-is ma yella neṭṭef, neṣbeṛ yerna nețkel deg wayen i nessaram.
6but Christ, as Son over his house, whose house are *we*, if indeed we hold fast the boldness and the boast of hope firm to the end.
7?ef wannect-a i d-yenna Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen : Ass-a ma yella teslam i taɣect n Sidi Ṛebbi,
7Wherefore, even as says the Holy Spirit, To-day if ye will hear his voice,
8 ur sɣaṛayet ara ulawen-nwen am wasmi i jehlen lejdud-nwen m'akken i yi-sserfan deg unezṛuf
8harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness;
9 anda ɛeṛden ad iyi-jeṛṛben ɣas akken walan lecɣal akk i xedmeɣ di ṛebɛin iseggasen.
9where your fathers tempted [me], by proving [me], and saw my works forty years.
10 ?ef wayagi i rfiɣ ɣef lǧil-agi , dɣa nniɣ : Ulawen-nsen beɛden fell-i, zgan ɛeṛqen, ugin ad fehmen iberdan-iw.
10Wherefore I was wroth with this generation, and said, They always err in heart; and *they* have not known my ways;
11 Seg wakken i rfiɣ, gulleɣ ur kcimen asteɛfu-inu.
11so I swore in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest.
12Ay atmaten, ḥadret ad yili gar-awen win ara yesseɣṛen ul-is, ara yeǧǧen cceṛ ad izdeɣ deg-s alamma issufeɣ-it i webrid n Sidi Ṛebbi yeddren.
12See, brethren, lest there be in any one of you a wicked heart of unbelief, in turning away from [the] living God.
13?emyenhut wway gar-awen yal ass, skud nezmer a d-nini « ass-a » am akken i gura di tira iqedsen iwakken yiwen deg-wen ur t-ițkellix ddnub, ur yesɣaṛay ul-is.
13But encourage yourselves each day, as long as it is called To-day, that none of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14Ma yella neṭṭef alamma ț-țaggara di liman-nni i nesɛa di tazwara, akka ara nțekki di Lmasiḥ,
14For we are become companions of the Christ if indeed we hold the beginning of the assurance firm to the end;
15akken yura di tira iqedsen : Ass-a ma yella teslam i taɣect n Sidi Ṛebbi, ur sɣaṛayet ara ulawen-nwen am asmi i jehlen lejdud-nwen deg unezṛuf.
15in that it is said, To-day if ye will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation;
16Anwa-ten wid i gjehlen ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi mi slan i taɣect-is, mačči d wid i d-yessufeɣ Sidna Musa si tmurt n Maṣer ?
16(for who was it, who, having heard, provoked? but [was it] not all who came out of Egypt by Moses?
17Anwi i ɣef yerfa Sidi Ṛebbi azal n ṛebɛin n iseggasen, mačči d wid idenben i gessenger deg unezṛuf ?
17And with whom was he wroth forty years? [Was it] not with those who had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18Anwa-ten wid i ɣef yeggul ur kcimen amkan anda ara steɛfun, mačči d wid i t-iɛuṣan ?
18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to those who had not hearkened to the word?
19Nwala ur kcimen ara ɣer westeɛfu n Sidi Ṛebbi axaṭer ugin ad amnen yis.
19And we see that they could not enter in on account of unbelief;)
