Luke

9

1Sidna Ɛisa isnejmaɛ-ed tnac yinelmaden-is, yefka-yasen tazmert d lḥekma s wacu ara ssufɣen leǧnun, ara sseḥlun imuḍan.
1And having called together the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal diseases,
2Iceggeɛ-iten ad beccṛen tageldit n Ṛebbi, yerna ad sseḥlun imuḍan.
2and sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
3Yenna-yasen : Ur țțawit acemma yid-wen d aɛwin, ur țțawit aɛekkaz neɣ agrab (aqwrab), ur țțawit aɣṛum neɣ idrimen, ur țțawit ara daɣen sin yiqendyaṛ.
3And he said to them, Take nothing for the way, neither staff, nor scrip, nor bread, nor money; nor to have two body-coats apiece.
4Kra n win ara yestṛeḥben yis wen, qqimet deg wexxam-is alamma tṛuḥem.
4And into whatsoever house ye enter, there abide and thence go forth.
5Ma d anda ur stṛeḥben ara yis-wen, m'ara teffɣem si taddart-nni, zwit ula d aɣebbaṛ-is seg yiḍaṛṛen nwen, iwakken aț-țcehdem fell-asen belli d nutni i kkun-yugin.
5And as many as may not receive you, going forth from that city, shake off even the dust from your feet for a witness against them.
6Ṛuḥen, țeddun si taddart ɣer tayeḍ, țbecciṛen lexbaṛ n lxiṛ, sseḥlayen imuḍan di mkul amkan.
6And going forth they passed through the villages, announcing the glad tidings and healing everywhere.
7Hiṛudus lḥakem n tmurt n Jlili, yeɛweq mi gesla s wayen yedṛan meṛṛa, axaṭer kra n yemdanen qqaṛen : « d Yeḥya i d-iḥyan si ger lmegtin ! »
7And Herod the tetrarch heard of all the things which were done [by him], and was in perplexity, because it was said by some that John was risen from among [the] dead,
8Wiyaḍ qqaṛen : « d Sidna Ilyas i d-yuɣalen ! » Neɣ : « ahat d yiwen si lenbiya n zik i d-iḥyan ! »
8and by some that Elias had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again.
9Lameɛna Hiṛudus yeqqaṛ : « Yeḥya kkseɣ-as aqeṛṛuy ! Anwa-t ihi wagi i ɣef selleɣ annect-agi ? » Dɣa ițqellib ad iẓer Sidna Ɛisa.
9And Herod said, John *I* have beheaded, but who is this of whom I hear such things? and he sought to see him.
10Mi d-uɣalen ṛṛusul n Sidna Ɛisa, bdan ḥekkun-as ayen akk i xedmen. Yewwi-ten yid-es ɣer yiwen wemkan, ɣer tama n taddart n Bitsayda akken ad qqimen weḥḥed-sen.
10And the apostles having returned related to him whatever they had done. And he took them and withdrew apart into [a desert place of] a city called Bethsaida.
11Mi slan anda yella lɣaci tebɛen-t. Nețța yesteṛḥeb yis-sen, yebda iheddeṛ-asen ɣef tgeldit n Ṛebbi, yesseḥla daɣen wid ihelken.
11But the crowds knowing [it] followed him; and he received them and spake to them of the kingdom of God, and cured those that had need of healing.
12Akken qṛib ad yeɣli yiṭij, tnac-nni n ṛṛusul usan-d ɣer Sidna Ɛisa nnan-as : Serreḥ i lɣaci ad ṛuḥen ɣer temdinin ț-țudrin iqeṛben iwakken ad afen ayen ara ččen d wanda ara ṭsen, axaṭer aql-aɣ deg wemkan yexlan.
12But the day began to decline, and the twelve came and said to him, Send away the crowd that they may go into the villages around, and [into] the fields, and lodge and find victuals, for here we are in a desert place.
13Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : Fket-asen kunwi s yiman-nwen ayen ara ččen. Erran-as : ?uṛ-nneɣ anagar xemsa teḥbulin n weɣṛum d sin yiselman. Neɣ tebɣiḍ a nṛuḥ nukni a d-naɣ ayen ara ččen lɣaci-agi ?
13And he said to them, Give *ye them to eat. And they said, We have not more than five loaves and two fishes, unless *we* should go and buy food for all this people;
14Llan dinna azal n xemsa alaf n yergazen. Sidna Ɛisa yenna i yinelmaden-is : Feṛqet lɣaci ț-țirebbaɛ n xemsin xemsin, tesɣimem-ten.
14for they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down in companies by fifties.
15Ṛuḥen sɣimen-ten akken i sen-d yenna.
15And they did so, and made them all sit down.
16Sidna Ɛisa yerfed allen-is ɣer yigenni, yeḥmed Ṛebbi icekkeṛ-it, yeddem-ed xemsa-nni teḥbulin n weɣṛum d sin-nni iselman yebḍa-ten, yefka-ten i inelmaden-is a ten- feṛqen i lɣaci.
16And taking the five loaves and the two fishes, looking up to heaven he blessed them, and broke and gave to the disciples to set before the crowd.
17?čan akk armi ṛwan, yerna ččuṛen tnac yiḍellaɛen s wayen i d-yugran.
17And they all ate and were filled; and there was taken up of what had remained over and above to them in fragments twelve hand-baskets.
18Yiwen wass Sidna Ɛisa yeqqim weḥd-es yețẓalla. Inelmaden-is qeṛṛben ɣuṛ-es dɣa isteqsa-ten yenna-yasen : D acu-yi ɣer lɣaci ?
18And it came to pass as he was praying alone, his disciples were with him, and he asked them saying, Who do the crowds say that I am?
19Rran-as : Kra qqaṛen d Yeḥya aɣeṭṭas ; wiyaḍ d Sidna Ilyas i d-yuɣalen ; ma d kra nniḍen qqaṛen d yiwen si lenbiya n zik i d-iḥyan si ger lmegtin.
19But they answering said, John the baptist; but others, Elias; and others, that one of the old prophets has risen again.
20Yenna-yasen : I kunwi, d acu-yi ɣuṛ-wen ? Yenṭeq Buṭrus yenna-yas : D kečč i d Lmasiḥ n Ṛebbi.
20And he said to them, But *ye*, who do ye say that I am? And Peter answering said, The Christ of God.
21Sidna Ɛisa iweṣṣa-ten ur qqaṛen i yiwen belli d nețța i d Lmasiḥ.
21But, earnestly charging them, he enjoined [them] to say this to no man,
22Yenna-yasen daɣen : Ilaq Mmi-s n bunadem ad yeɛteb aṭas. A t-nekkṛen lecyux d lmuqedmin imeqqranen akk-d lɛulama n ccariɛa yerna a t-nɣen, lameɛna ass wis tlata a d-iḥyu si ger lmegtin.
22saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
23Yenna daɣen i lɣaci : Win yebɣan ad iddu yid-i ur ilaq ara ad ixemmem ɣef tudert-is ; ilaq ad iqbel ad yenɛețțab yal ass ɣef ddemma n yisem-iw yerna ad yetbeɛ abrid-iw.
23And he said to [them] all, If any one will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me;
24Axaṭer win yebɣan ad isellek tudert-is a s-tṛuḥ. Ma d win iwumi ara tṛuḥ ɣef ddemma-w ad yuɣal a ț-yaf.
24for whosoever shall desire to save his life shall lose it, but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, *he* shall save it.
25D acu i d lfayda n wemdan ara irebḥen ddunit meṛṛa ma yesṛuḥ tudert-is neɣ issenger iman-is ?
25For what shall a man profit if he shall have gained the whole world, and have destroyed, or come under the penalty of the loss of himself?
26Atan win issetḥan yis-i neɣ s yimeslayen iw, ad issetḥi yis Mmi-s n bunadem m'ara d-yas di tmanegt-is ț-țmanegt n Baba Ṛebbi akk-d lmalayekkat iqedsen.
26For whosoever shall have been ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed when he shall come in his glory, and [in that] of the Father, and of the holy angels.
27A wen-d-iniɣ tideț, llan gar-awen wid ur nețmețțat ara alamma walan Tageldit n Ṛebbi.
27But I say unto you of a truth, There are some of those standing here who shall not taste death until they shall have seen the kingdom of God.
28Ɛeddan azal n tmanya wussan segmi i d-yenna imeslayen-agi. Sidna Ɛisa yewwi yid-es Buṭrus, Yuḥenna d Yeɛqub, yuli ɣer wedrar ad iẓẓall.
28And it came to pass after these words, about eight days, that taking Peter and John and James he went up into a mountain to pray.
29Mi gella ideɛɛu yenbeddal wudem-is, llebsa-s tuɣal ț-țamellalt tețfeǧǧiǧ am yiṭij.
29And as he prayed the fashion of his countenance became different and his raiment white [and] effulgent.
30Taswiɛt kan bedden-d ɣuṛ-es sin yergazen heddṛen yid-es : d Sidna Musa akk-d Sidna Ilyas.
30And lo, two men talked with him, who were Moses and Elias,
31Banen-ed di tafat tameqqrant, țmeslayen yid-es ɣef lmut-is ara yedṛun di temdint n Lquds.
31who, appearing in glory, spoke of his departure which he was about to accomplish in Jerusalem.
32Buṭrus d yimdukkal-is yewwi ten yiḍes. Mi d-endekwalen, walan tamanegt n Sidna Ɛisa akk-d wid yellan yid-es.
32But Peter and those with him were oppressed with sleep: but having fully awoke up they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.
33Mi kkren ad ṛuḥen sin-nni yergazen, yenṭeq Buṭrus ɣer Sidna Ɛisa yenna : A Sidi, acḥal yelha m'akka nella dagi ! Ma tebɣiḍ a nesbedd tlata yiqiḍunen, yiwen i kečč, yiwen i Sidna Musa wayeḍ i Sidna Ilyas. Yenna-d akka, axaṭer ur yeẓri d acu i d-iqqaṛ !
33And it came to pass as they departed from him, Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.
34Mazal-it iheddeṛ mi ten-id-tɣumm yiwet n tagut. Buṭrus d imdukkal-is ikcem-iten lxuf d ameqqran.
34But as he was saying these things, there came a cloud and overshadowed them, and they feared as they entered into the cloud:
35Iffeɣ-ed yiwen n ṣṣut si tagut-nni yenna-d : Wagi d Mmi, d nețța i xtaṛeɣ, smeḥsiset-as.
35and there was a voice out of the cloud saying, *This* is my beloved Son: hear him.
36Mi geḥbes ṣṣut-nni, walan anagar Sidna Ɛisa. Deg ussan-nni, inelmaden ur ḥkin i yiwen ayen ẓran.
36And as the voice was [heard] Jesus was found alone: and *they* kept silence, and told no one in those days any of the things they had seen.
37Azekka-nni mi d-ṣubben seg wedrar, aṭas n lɣaci i d-immugren Sidna Ɛisa.
37And it came to pass on the following day, when they came down from the mountain, a great crowd met him.
38Atah yiwen wergaz iɛeggeḍ-ed si ger lɣaci yenna : A Sidi, di leɛnaya-k muqel-ed ɣer mmi, ala nețța i sɛiɣ !
38And lo, a man from the crowd cried out saying, Teacher, I beseech thee look upon my son, for he is mine only child:
39Ikcem-it uṛuḥani, tiswiɛin m'ara t-ițhuccu, yețɛeggiḍ alamma ffɣent-ed tkufta seg imi-s, ur as-ițserriḥ ara alamma yerẓa-t akk.
39and behold, a spirit takes him, and suddenly he cries out, and it tears him with foaming, and with difficulty departs from him after crushing him.
40?elleleɣ inelmaden-ik a t-ssufɣen seg-s, lameɛna ur zmiren ara.
40And I besought thy disciples that they might cast him out, and they could not.
41Sidna Ɛisa yenṭeq yenna : A lǧil ijehlen iɛewjen, ar melmi ara yiliɣ yid-wen, ara wen-sebṛeɣ ? Awi-d mmi-k ɣer dagi !
41And Jesus answering said, O unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you and suffer you? Bring hither thy son.
42Akken i d-iqeṛṛeb weqcic-nni, aṛuḥani isseglallez-it di lqaɛa armi i d-țeffɣent tkufta seg yimi-s. Sidna Ɛisa yefka lameṛ i uṛuḥani-nni iwakken a t-iffeɣ. Aqcic-nni yeḥla, Sidna Ɛisa yerra-t i baba-s.
42But as he was yet coming, the demon tore him and dragged him all together. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child and gave him back to his father.
43Lɣaci meṛṛa wehmen di tezmert n Sidi Ṛebbi. Imi tɛeǧǧben akk s wayen i gxeddem, Sidna Ɛisa yenṭeq ɣer yinelmaden-is yenna :
43And all were astonished at the glorious greatness of God. And as all wondered at all the things which [Jesus] did, he said to his disciples,
44?esset-ed mliḥ i wayen ara wen-d-iniɣ tura : « Mmi-s n bunadem ad ițțusellem ger ifassen n yemdanen. »
44Do *ye* let these words sink into your ears. For the Son of man is about to be delivered into men's hands.
45Inelmaden-is ur fhimen ara imeslayen-agi, lmeɛna-ines tețwaffer fell-asen iwakken ur t-fehmen ara yerna kukran a t-steqsin.
45But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them that they should not perceive it. And they feared to ask him concerning this saying.
46Inelmaden țmeslayen wway gar-asen, țmesteqsayen anwa i d ameqqran deg-sen.
46And a reasoning came in amongst them, who should be [the] greatest of them.
47Sidna Ɛisa yeẓran ayen țxemmimen deg ulawen-nsen, ikker yeddem-ed yiwen weqcic isbedd-it zdat-es,
47And Jesus, seeing the reasoning of their heart, having taken a little child set it by him,
48yenna-yasen : Win iqeblen aqcic am wagi ɣef ddemma n yisem-iw d nekk i geqbel, win i yi-qeblen, yeqbel win i yi-d iceggɛen. Win yessimẓiyen iman-is gar-awen d nețța i d ameqqran.
48and said to them, Whosoever shall receive this little child in my name receives me, and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me. For he who is the least among you all, *he* is great.
49Yuḥenna yenna i Sidna Ɛisa : A Sidi, neẓra yiwen wergaz yessuffuɣ leǧnun s yisem-ik, nebɣa a s-neqḍeɛ imi ur k-itbiɛ ara am nukni.
49And John answering said, Master, we saw some one casting out demons in thy name, and we forbad him, because he follows not with us.
50Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Ur s-țțagit ara ! Win ur wen-d neffiɣ ara d aɛdaw, yid-wen i gella !
50And Jesus said to him, Forbid [him] not, for he that is not against you is for you.
51Mi qṛib a d-awḍen wussan i deg ara yețwarfed ɣer igenwan, Sidna Ɛisa yeqsed ad iṛuḥ ɣer temdint n Lquds.
51And it came to pass when the days of his receiving up were fulfilled, that *he* stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem.
52Yessezwer imceggɛen zdat-es iwakken a s-heggin ayen ilaqen. Kecmen ɣer yiwet n taddart n yisamariyen,
52And he sent messengers before his face. And having gone they entered into a village of the Samaritans that they might make ready for him.
53lameɛna ugin ad stṛeḥben yis imi slan ɣer temdint n Lquds i gteddu.
53And they did not receive him, because his face was [turned as] going to Jerusalem.
54Yeɛqub d Yuḥenna mi ẓran ayagi, nnan : A Sidi, tebɣiḍ a nefk lameṛ i tmes n yigenni a d-teɣli fell-asen a ten tessenger ?
54And his disciples James and John seeing [it] said, Lord, wilt thou that we speak [that] fire come down from heaven and consume them, as also Elias did?
55Sidna Ɛisa yezzi ɣuṛ-sen, iɛeggeḍ fell-asen yenna : Acuɣeṛ i tețxemmimem akka ?
55But turning he rebuked them [and said, Ye know not of what spirit ye are].
56Mmi-s n bunadem ur d-yusi ara ad issenger imdanen lameɛna yusa-d a ten-isellek. Dɣa ṛuḥen ɣer taddart nniḍen.
56And they went to another village.
57Mi teddun deg webrid, yiwen wergaz yenna i Sidna Ɛisa : A Sidi, anda teddiḍ ad dduɣ !
57And it came to pass as they went in the way, one said to him, I will follow thee wheresoever thou goest, Lord.
58Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Uccanen ɣuṛ-sen lɣiṛan, ifṛax n yigenni sɛan leɛcuc, ma d Mmi-s n bunadem ur yesɛi ara anda ara yessers aqeṛṛuy-is.
58And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes and the birds of the heaven roosting-places, but the Son of man has not where he may lay his head.
59Dɣa yenna i yiwen nniḍen : Eyya-d aț-țedduḍ yid-i. Yerra-yas : A Sidi, serreḥ-iyi uqbel ad ṛuḥeɣ ad meḍleɣ baba.
59And he said to another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, allow me to go first and bury my father.
60Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yas : Eǧǧ wid yemmuten ad meḍlen lmegtin-nsen, ma d kečč eyya-d aț-țbecṛeḍ tageldit n Ṛebbi.
60But Jesus said to him, Suffer the dead to bury their own dead, but do *thou* go and announce the kingdom of God.
61Wayeḍ yenṭeq yenna-yas : Ad dduɣ yid-ek a Sidi, lameɛna eǧǧ-iyi ad ṛuḥeɣ ad sellmeɣ ɣef wat wexxam-iw.
61And another also said, I will follow thee, Lord, but first allow me to bid adieu to those at my house.
62Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Kra n win yeṭṭfen lmaɛun, yețmuqul ɣer deffir, ur yenfiɛ ara i tgelda n Ṛebbi.
62But Jesus said to him, No one having laid his hand on [the] plough and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God.
