1Akka i gebda lexbaṛ n lxiṛ yeɛnan Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, Mmi-s n Ṛebbi.
1Beginning of the glad tidings of Jesus Christ, Son of God;
2Am akken yura di tektabt n nnbi Iceɛya : Ad zzewreɣ zdat-ek amceggeɛ-iw, a k-ifres abrid.
2as it is written in [Isaiah] the prophet, Behold, *I* send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way.
3 ?-țaɣect n win yețɛeggiḍen deg unezṛuf : heggit abrid i Sidi Ṛebbi, ssemsawit iberdan-is !
3Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of [the] Lord, make his paths straight.
4Iban-ed Yeḥya aɣeṭṭas deg unezṛuf , yesseɣḍas lɣaci deg waman, yeqqaṛ-asen : Beddlet tikli, aset-ed aț-țețwaɣeḍsem iwakken a wen-yeɛfu Sidi Ṛebbi.
4There came John baptising in the wilderness, and preaching [the] baptism of repentance for remission of sins.
5Imezdaɣ meṛṛa n tmurt n Yahuda d wid n temdint n Lquds țṛuḥun-d ɣuṛ-es, țqiṛṛin s ddnubat-nsen zdat lɣaci dɣa Yeḥya yeṣṣeɣḍas-iten deg wasif n Urdun.
5And there went out to him all the district of Judaea, and all they of Jerusalem, and were baptised by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
6Yelsa llebsa yețwaxedmen s ccɛeṛ n welɣem, yebges tabagust n weglim ɣef wammas-is. Lqut-is d ajṛad akk-d țament n lexla.
6And John was clothed in camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins, and ate locusts and wild honey.
7Yețbecciṛ yeqqaṛ : Win ara d-yasen deffir-i yugar iyi, yesɛa tazmert akteṛ-iw ; ur uklaleɣ ara ad knuɣ a s-fsiɣ ula d lexyuḍ n warkasen-is.
7And he preached, saying, There comes he that is mightier than I after me, the thong of whose sandals I am not fit to stoop down and unloose.
8Nekk sseɣḍaseɣ-kkun deg waman, lameɛna nețța a kkun-isseɣḍes s Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen.
8*I* indeed have baptised you with water, but *he* shall baptise you with [the] Holy Spirit.
9Deg wussan-nni, Sidna Ɛisa yusa-d si taddart n Naṣaret ɣer tmurt n Jlili. Yesseɣḍes-it Yeḥya deg wasif n Urdun.
9And it came to pass in those days [that] Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptised by John at the Jordan.
10Akken i d-iffeɣ seg waman, iwala igenwan ldin, Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen iṣubb-ed fell-as s ṣṣifa n tetbirt.
10And straightway going up from the water, he saw the heavens parting asunder, and the Spirit, as a dove, descending upon him.
11Yiwet n taɣect tekka-d seg igenwan tenna-d : Kečč d Mmi eɛzizen ; deg-k i gella lfeṛḥ-iw !
11And there came a voice out of the heavens: *Thou* art my beloved Son, in thee I have found my delight.
12Imiren kan, Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen yewwi-t ɣer uneẓruf,
12And immediately the Spirit drives him out into the wilderness.
13anda i t-ijeṛṛeb Cciṭan ṛebɛin wussan. Yețɛic ger lewḥuc n lɣaba, lmalayekkat qeddcent fell-as.
13And he was in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.
14Mi gețwaḥbes Yeḥya, Sidna Ɛisa iṛuḥ ɣer tmurt n Jlili ; yețbecciṛ lexbaṛ n lxiṛ n Sidi Ṛebbi, yeqqaṛ :
14But after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee preaching the glad tidings of the kingdom of God,
15Tageldit n Ṛebbi tqeṛṛeb-ed ! Yewweḍ-ed lweqt-is ! Uɣalet-ed ɣer webrid tamnem s lexbaṛ n lxiṛ !
15and saying, The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn nigh; repent and believe in the glad tidings.
16Mi gella ileḥḥu rrif n lebḥeṛ n tmurt n Jlili, iwala Semɛun akk-d gma-s Andriyus ṭeggiṛen acebbak ɣer lebḥeṛ, axaṭer d iṣeggaḍen i llan.
16And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew, [Simon's] brother, casting out a net in the sea, for they were fishers.
17Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen : Ddut-ed yid-i, a kkun-rreɣ d iṣeggaḍen n yemdanen.
17And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you become fishers of men;
18Imiren kan, ǧǧan icebbaken nsen, ddan yid-es.
18and straightway leaving their trawl-nets they followed him.
19Ikemmel abrid-is, iwala Yeɛqub akk-d gma-s Yuḥenna yellan d arraw n Zabadi, qqimen di teflukt-nsen țxiḍin icebbaken.
19And going on thence a little, he saw James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother, and these [were] in the ship repairing the trawl-nets;
20Yessawel-asen, imiren kan ǧǧan baba-tsen akk-d ixeddamen-is di teflukt, ddan d Sidna Ɛisa.
20and straightway he called them; and leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, they went away after him.
21Sidna Ɛisa d inelmaden-is wwḍen ɣer temdint n Kafernaḥum. Deg wass n ssebt yellan d ass n westeɛfu, Sidna Ɛisa yekcem ɣer lǧameɛ yebda yesselmad.
21And they go into Capernaum. And straightway on the sabbath he entered into the synagogue and taught.
22Lɣaci i s-ițḥessisen wehmen deg uselmed ines axaṭer imeslayen-is sɛan tissas ( lhiba ), mačči am uselmed n lɛulama n ccariɛa.
22And they were astonished at his doctrine, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.
23Yella di lǧameɛ-nni yiwen n wergaz i gezdeɣ uṛuḥani, yebda yețɛeggiḍ yeqqaṛ :
23And there was in their synagogue a man [possessed] by an unclean spirit, and he cried out
24D acu tebɣiḍ ɣuṛ-nneɣ a Ɛisa anaṣari ? Tusiḍ-ed a ɣ-tesnegreḍ ? ?riɣ d acu-k, kečč d Imqeddes n Ṛebbi !
24saying, Eh! what have we to do with thee, Jesus, Nazarene? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the holy one of God.
25Sidna Ɛisa iɛeggeḍ fell-as yenna : Ssusem ! Effeɣ seg wergaz-agi !
25And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace and come out of him.
26Aṛuḥani ihucc argaz-nni s lǧehd, yeffeɣ seg-s s leɛyaḍ.
26And the unclean spirit, having torn him, and uttered a cry with a loud voice, came out of him.
27Lɣaci meṛṛa xelɛen, wa yeqqaṛ i wa : D acu-t wayagi ? D acu-t uselmed-agi ajdid yesɛan lhiba ? Argaz-agi yeḥkem ula ɣef yiṛuḥaniyen yerna țțaɣen-as awal !
27And all were amazed, so that they questioned together among themselves, saying, What is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.
28Seg imiren, Sidna Ɛisa yețwassen di tmurt n Jlili meṛṛa.
28And his fame went out straightway into the whole region of Galilee around.
29Mi d-ffɣen si lǧameɛ, ṛuḥen ɣer wexxam n Semɛun d Andriyus, yedda Yeɛqub d Yuḥenna.
29And straightway going out of the synagogue, they came with James and John into the house of Simon and Andrew.
30Taḍeggalt n Semɛun tuḍen, tuɣ-iț tawla ; hedṛen-as fell-as i Sidna Ɛisa.
30And the mother-in-law of Simon lay in a fever. And straightway they speak to him about her.
31Iqeṛṛeb ɣuṛ-es, yeṭṭef-as afus, yeskker-iț-id. Imiren kan teffeɣ-iț tawla-nni, tekker tqeddec-asen.
31And he went up to [her] and raised her up, having taken her by the hand, and straightway the fever left her, and she served them.
32Tameddit mi geɣli yiṭij, wwin-as-d aṭas n imuḍan akk-d wid zedɣen iṛuḥaniyen.
32But evening being come, when the sun had gone down, they brought to him all that were suffering, and those possessed by demons;
33Lɣaci n temdint meṛṛa nnejmaɛen-d zdat tewwurt.
33and the whole city was gathered together at the door.
34Sidna Ɛisa yesseḥla aṭas n imuḍan i ghelken yal aṭan ; yessufeɣ aṭas n iṛuḥaniyen yerna ur ten-yețțaǧa ara a d-mmeslayen, axaṭer nutni ẓran d acu-t.
34And he healed many suffering from various diseases; and he cast out many demons, and did not suffer the demons to speak because they knew him.
35?ṣbeḥ zik uqbel ad yali wass, Sidna Ɛisa yeffeɣ ɣer lexla iwakken ad yedɛu ɣer Sidi Ṛebbi.
35And rising in the morning long before day, he went out and went away into a desert place, and there prayed.
36Semɛun d imdukkal-is ffɣen ad nadin fell-as ;
36And Simon and those with him went after him:
37mi t-ufan, nnan-as : A Sidi, medden akk țnadin fell-ak.
37and having found him, they say to him, All seek thee.
38Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Eyyaw a nṛuḥet ɣer tudrin iqeṛben axaṭer ilaq ad beccṛeɣ daɣen dinna. ?ef wannect-agi i d-usiɣ.
38And he says to them, Let us go elsewhere into the neighbouring country towns, that I may preach there also, for for this purpose am I come forth.
39Dɣa iṛuḥ ɣer tmurt n Jlili, yețbecciṛ di leǧwameɛ, yessufuɣ leǧnun.
39And he was preaching in their synagogues in the whole of Galilee, and casting out demons.
40Yiwen wergaz ihelken lbeṛs yusa-d ɣer Sidna Ɛisa, yeɣli ɣef tgecrar, iḥellel-it yenna-yas : A Sidi, ma tebɣiḍ, tzemreḍ a yi-tesseḥluḍ.
40And there comes to him a leper, beseeching him, and falling on his knees to him, and saying to him, If thou wilt thou canst cleanse me.
41Sidna Ɛisa iɣaḍ-it wergaz-nni, dɣa yeẓẓel afus-is innul-it, yenna yas : Bɣiɣ, ili-k teḥliḍ !
41But Jesus, moved with compassion, having stretched out his hand, touched him, and says to him, I will, be thou cleansed.
42Imiren kan, yeḥla si lbeṛs-nni, yuɣal yeṣfa.
42And as he spoke straightway the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
43Sidna Ɛisa iserreḥ-as ad iṛuḥ, iweṣṣa-t s lḥeṛs yenna-yas :
43And having sharply charged him, he straightway sent him away,
44Sel-iyi-d mliḥ ! Ur țɛawad i yiwen ayen yedṛan, lameɛna ṛuḥ a k-iẓer lmuqeddem, tawiḍ asfel ɣef ṣeffu-inek akken i t-id-iweṣṣa Musa.
44and says to him, See thou say nothing to any one, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses ordained, for a testimony to them.
45Meɛna akken kan iṛuḥ, argaz-nni yebda yețberriḥ di mkul amkan, ayen yedṛan yid-es. Daymi Sidna Ɛisa ur yezmir ara a d-isbeggen iman-is di temdint, meɛna yețɣimi di beṛṛa deg imukan iḍeṛfen. Lɣaci țțasen-d ɣuṛ-es si mkul tama.
45But he, having gone forth, began to proclaim [it] much, and to spread the matter abroad, so that he could no longer enter openly into the city, but was without in desert places, and they came to him from every side.
