Mark

8

1Deg wussan-nni, innejmaɛ-ed daɣen waṭas n lɣaci, ur sɛin ara ayen ara ččen. Sidna Ɛisa yessawel i inelmaden-is, yenna-yasen :
1In those days, there being again a great crowd, and they having nothing that they could eat, having called his disciples to [him], he says to them,
2Tejreḥ tasa-w ɣef lɣaci-agi, tlata wussan aya i qqimen yid-i, yerna ulac ayen ara ččen.
2I have compassion on the crowd, because they have stayed with me already three days and they have not anything they can eat,
3Ma yella rriɣ-ten ansi i d-kkan i laẓ, ad nezfen deg webrid axaṭer kra deg-sen usan-d si lebɛid.
3and if I should dismiss them to their home fasting, they will faint on the way; for some of them are come from far.
4Inelmaden-is rran-as-d : Ansi ara ɣ-d-yekk weɣṛum ara ten-yesseṛwun deg wemkan-agi yexlan ?
4And his disciples answered him, Whence shall one be able to satisfy these with bread here in a desert place?
5Sidna Ɛisa yesteqsa-ten : Acḥal n teḥbulin n weɣṛum i tesɛam ? Rran-as-ed : ?uṛ-nneɣ sebɛa teḥbulin !
5And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.
6Yenna i lɣaci ad qqimen ɣer lqaɛa. Dɣa yeddem-ed sebɛa teḥbulin-nni n weɣṛum, yeḥmed Sidi Ṛebbi, yebḍa-tent, yefka-tent i inelmaden-is feṛqen-tent i lɣaci.
6And he commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground. And having taken the seven loaves, he gave thanks, and broke [them] and gave [them] to his disciples, that they might set [them] before [them]; and they set [them] before the crowd.
7Sɛan daɣen kra iselman ( iḥewtiwen ) imecṭaḥ. Yeḥmed daɣen Sidi Ṛebbi, yenna-yasen a ten-feṛqen i lɣaci.
7And they had a few small fishes, and having blessed them, he desired these also to be set before [them].
8?čan armi ṛwan. Rnan sagren-d azal n sebɛa iqecwalen.
8And they ate and were satisfied. And they took up of fragments that remained seven baskets.
9Llan deg wazal n ṛebɛa alaf n yemdanen. Mi fukken lmakla, iserreḥ-asen ad uɣalen ɣer ixxamen-nsen.
9And they [that had eaten] were about four thousand; and he sent them away.
10Imiren kan yuli ɣer teflukt nețța d inelmaden-is, ṛuḥen ɣer leǧwahi n Dalmanuta.
10And immediately going on board ship with his disciples, he came into the parts of Dalmanutha.
11Ṛuḥen-d ifariziyen, bdan țmeslayen d Sidna Ɛisa iwakken a t-jeṛṛben, ssutren-as ad ixdem lbeṛhan ara d-iṣubben seg igenni.
11And the Pharisees went out and began to dispute against him, seeking from him a sign from heaven, tempting him.
12Sidna Ɛisa yerra-d nnehta, yenna : Acuɣer i yi-d-ssuturen lbeṛhan yemdanen n lǧil-agi ? S tideț aql-i nniɣ-awen : d lmuḥal a s-d-ițunefk lbeṛhan i lǧil-agi !
12And groaning in his spirit, he says, Why does this generation seek a sign? Verily I say unto you, A sign shall in no wise be given to this generation.
13Dɣa yeǧǧa-ten, yerkeb daɣen di teflukt iwakken ad izger agummaḍ.
13And he left them, and going again on board ship, went away to the other side.
14Inelmaden țțun ur wwin ara aɣṛum anagar yiwet n teḥbult i gellan ɣuṛ-sen di teflukt.
14And they forgot to take bread, and save one loaf, they had not [any] with them in the ship.
15Sidna Ɛisa iweṣṣa-ten, yenna-yasen : ?adret iman-nwen ɣef temtunt ( iɣes ) n ifariziyen akk-d win n Hiṛudus.
15And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and [of] the leaven of Herod.
16Inelmaden qqaṛen wway gar asen : «Yenna-yaɣ-d ayagi imi ur d newwi ara aɣṛum.»
16And they reasoned with one another, [saying], It is because we have no bread.
17Mi geẓra ayen țxemmimen, yenna-yasen : Acuɣer tețxemimem ɣef weɣṛum ? Urɛad tfaqem ? Mazal ur tefhimem ara ?
17And Jesus knowing [it], says to them, Why reason ye because ye have no bread? Do ye not yet perceive nor understand? Have ye your heart [yet] hardened?
18 Eɛni qquṛen wulawen-nwen ? Tesɛam allen ur tețwalim ara, tesɛam imeẓẓuɣen ur tsellem ara ?
18Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
19Ur tecfim ara mi bḍiɣ xemsa teḥbulin-nni n weɣṛum i xemsa alaf n yergazen, acḥal n iḍellaɛen n tsigar i tjemɛem ? Rran-as : Tnac iḍellaɛen.
19When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many hand-baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say to him, Twelve.
20I wasmi bḍiɣ sebɛa teḥbulin n weɣṛum i ṛebɛa alaf n yemdanen, acḥal n tqecwalin yeččuṛen ț-țisigar i d-tjemɛem ? Nnan-as : Sebɛa n tqecwalin.
20And when the seven for the four thousand, the filling of how many baskets of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
21Dɣa yenna-yasen : Werɛad tefhimem ihi ?
21And he said to them, How do ye not yet understand?
22Ewwḍen ɣer temdint n Bitsayda. Wwin-as-d yiwen uderɣal, ḥellelen-t iwakken a t-yennal.
22And he comes to Bethsaida; and they bring him a blind man, and beseech him that he might touch him.
23Sidna Ɛisa yeṭṭef afus i uderɣal-nni, yewwi-t beṛṛa n taddart. Yessers imetman ɣef wallen n uderɣal-nni, yessers ifassen is fell-as yesteqsa-t : Yella kra tețwaliḍ ?
23And taking hold of the hand of the blind man he led him forth out of the village, and having spit upon his eyes, he laid his hands upon him, and asked him if he beheld anything.
24Yerfed allen-is yenna : ?waliɣ imdanen am akken d ttjuṛ i gleḥḥun.
24And having looked up, he said, I behold men, for I see [them], as trees, walking.
25Sidna Ɛisa iɛawed issers-as ifassen ɣef wallen, mi gemmuqel uderɣal-nni, yuɣal-it-id yeẓri, ițwali akken ilaq.
25Then he laid his hands again upon his eyes, and he saw distinctly, and was restored and saw all things clearly.
26Dɣa Sidna Ɛisa iceggeɛ-it ɣer wexxam-is, yenna-yas : Ur keččem ara ɣer taddart.
26And he sent him to his house, saying, Neither enter into the village, nor tell [it] to any one in the village.
27Sidna Ɛisa akk-d inelmaden-is ṛuḥen ɣer tudrin n Qiṣarya n Filibus. Deg webrid, yesteqsa-ten yenna yasen : D acu-yi ɣer lɣaci ?
27And Jesus went forth and his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea-Philippi. And by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Who do men say that I am?
28Rran-as-d : Kra deg-sen qqaṛen d Yeḥya aɣeṭṭas i telliḍ, wiyaḍ qqaṛen d Sidna Ilyas, ma d wiyaḍ ḥesben-k d yiwen si lenbiya.
28And they answered him, saying, John the baptist; and others, Elias; but others, One of the prophets.
29Yerna yesteqsa-ten : I kunwi, d acu-iyi ɣuṛ-wen ? Buṭrus yerra-yas : Keččini d Lmasiḥ. ( yeɛni win yextaṛ Ṛebbi )
29And he asked them, But *ye*, who do ye say that I am? And Peter answering says to him, *Thou* art the Christ.
30Yumeṛ-iten iwakken ur țɛawaden i yiwen ayagi.
30And he charged them straitly, in order that they should tell no man about him.
31Sidna Ɛisa yebda yesselmad-iten yeqqaṛ : Mmi-s n bunadem ilaq ad yenɛețțab aṭas ; a t-nekkṛen lecyux d lmuqedmin imeqqranen akk-d lɛulama n ccariɛa. A t-nɣen, m'ara ɛeddin tlata wussan, a d-iḥyu si ger lmegtin.
31And he began to teach them that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and of the chief priests and of the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise [again].
32Yenna-yasen-d ayagi ɛinani. Buṭrus ijbed-it weḥd-es, ilumm fell-as.
32And he spoke the thing openly. And Peter, taking him to [him], began to rebuke him.
33Sidna Ɛisa yezzi, imuqel inelmaden-is, yenna i Buṭrus : Wexxeṛ akkin fell-i a Cciṭan ! Ixemmimen-ik mačči n Ṛebbi, meɛna n yemdanen !
33But he, turning round and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, saying, Get away behind me, Satan, for thy mind is not on the things that are of God, but on the things that are of men.
34Sidna Ɛisa yessawel i lɣaci akk-d inelmaden-is, yenna-yasen : Ma yella win yebɣan ad iddu yid-i, ur ilaq ara ad ixemmem ɣef yiman-is, meɛna ilaq ad iqbel leɛtab ɣef ddemma n yisem-iw, ad ibbib amidag-is, a yi-d-itbeɛ.
34And having called the crowd with his disciples, he said to them, Whoever desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me.
35Axaṭer win yebɣan ad isellek taṛwiḥt-is, a s-tṛuḥ ; ma d win ara yesṛuḥen tarwiḥt-is ɣef ddemma-w akk-d lexbaṛ n lxiṛ, a ț-isellek.
35For whosoever shall desire to save his life shall lose it, but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's shall save it.
36Ma yella irbeḥ-ed wemdan ddunit meṛṛa, acu n lfayda i gesɛa ma yesṛuḥ tudert-is ?
36For what shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul?
37D acu ara yefk wemdan iwakken ad icafeɛ taṛwiḥt-is ?
37for what should a man give in exchange for his soul?
38Ma yella win yessetḥan yis-i akk-d imeslayen-iw ger lǧil-agi amednub, ifesden, ula d Mmi-s n bunadem ad issetḥi yis m'ara d-yas akk-d lmalayekkat iqedsen di lɛaḍima n baba-s.
38For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him shall the Son of man also be ashamed when he shall come in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
