2

1Eɛni ur tufim ara ṣṣbeṛ di Lmasiḥ, asseǧhed di leḥmala, tagmaț di Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen wway-gar-awen, ur tufim ara leḥnana d ṛṛeḥma ?
1If then [there be] any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of [the] Spirit, if any bowels and compassions,
2Kemmlet ihi lfeṛḥ-iw, sɛut yiwen uxemmem, sɛut yiwet n leḥmala, ddukklet s yiwen n ṛṛuḥ, d yiwen uxemmem.
2fulfil my joy, that ye may think the same thing, having the same love, joined in soul, thinking one thing;
3Ur xeddmet acemma s umḥizwer neɣ iwakken aț-țesɛum ccan ur nesɛi lqima, meɛna anzet, ḥesbet wiyaḍ am akken sɛan lqima akteṛ-nwen.
3[let] nothing [be] in the spirit of strife or vain glory, but, in lowliness of mind, each esteeming the other as more excellent than themselves;
4Ilaq yal yiwen deg-wen ur ițnadi ara kan ɣef nnfeɛ-ines, lameɛna ilaq ad inadi ɣef nnfeɛ n wiyaḍ.
4regarding not each his own [qualities], but each those of others also.
5Sɛut deg ulawen nwen ixemmimen yellan di Ɛisa Lmasiḥ :
5For let this mind be in you which [was] also in Christ Jesus;
6Nețța yellan d ṣṣifa n Ṛebbi, ur inuda ara ad isseɛdel iman-is akk-d Ṛebbi.
6who, subsisting in the form of God, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God;
7Meɛna isellem kullec s yiman-is mi guɣal d aqeddac. Isseɛdel iman-is d yemdanen mi d-iban s ṣṣifa n wemdan ;
7but emptied himself, taking a bondman's form, taking his place in [the] likeness of men;
8yessanez iman-is mi gedda s ṭṭaɛa armi d lmut, lmut ɣef wumidag.
8and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and [that the] death of [the] cross.
9Daymi Sidi Ṛebbi issuli-t sennig n kra wayen yellan yerna ifka-yas isem yellan sennig n yismawen meṛṛa,
9Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,
10iwakken s yisem n Ɛisa, yal tagecrirt aț-țeknu deg igenwan, di lqaɛa, ddaw lqaɛa,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal [beings],
11iwakken yal iles a d-icehhed belli Ɛisa Lmasiḥ, d nețța i gellan sennig kullec i tmanegt n Ṛebbi baba-tneɣ.
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord to God [the] Father's glory.
12A wid eɛzizen fell-i, yal ass tețțaɣem awal ; sbeggnet-ed ihi leslak-nwen s lecɣal, s ṭṭaɛa d wannuz, mačči am asm'akken lliɣ yid-wen, meɛna tura akteṛ imi ɣabeɣ fell-awen.
12So that, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
13Axaṭeṛ d Ṛebbi i wen-d-ițțaken lebɣi akk-d tezmert s wayes ara txedmem lebɣi-s yelhan.
13for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure.
14Xedmet kullec mbla asmermeg neɣ asṭuqqet n wawal,
14Do all things without murmurings and reasonings,
15iwakken yiwen ur kkun-ițlumu, aț-țilim teṣfam, d arraw n Ṛebbi, ur tseɛɛum ara lɛib ger lǧil-agi n ixeddaɛen, aț-țfeǧǧeǧem gar-asen am teftilin di ddunit
15that ye may be harmless and simple, irreproachable children of God in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation; among whom ye appear as lights in [the] world,
16aț-țețbecciṛem awal n tudert ; s wakka, ass n tuɣalin n Lmasiḥ, ayagi ad yili d sebba n ccan-iw imi ur uzzileɣ ur nɛețțabeɣ baṭel.
16holding forth [the] word of life, so as to be a boast for me in Christ's day, that I have not run in vain nor laboured in vain.
17?as akken ad țțusebbleɣ d asfel ara yernun ɣef wesfel n liman-nwen yețțunefken d lweɛda i Sidi Ṛebbi, d ayen i yi isfeṛḥen yerna feṛḥeɣ yid-wen meṛṛa .
17But if also I am poured out as a libation on the sacrifice and ministration of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice in common with you all.
18Ula d kunwi feṛḥet am nekk, feṛḥet yid-i.
18In like manner do *ye* also rejoice, and rejoice with me.
19S lețkal i sɛiɣ di Sidna Ɛisa, ssarameɣ qṛib a wen-ceggɛeɣ Timuti iwakken a yi-issefṛeḥ s lexbaṛ ara yi-d-yawi s ɣuṛ-wen.
19But I hope in [the] Lord Jesus to send Timotheus to you shortly, that *I* also may be refreshed, knowing how ye get on.
20Ur sɛiɣ ula d yiwen ara yi-iɛawnen deg ixemmimen-iw, iwakken ad iḥebbeṛ fell-awen seg ul ;
20For I have no one like-minded who will care with genuine feeling how ye get on.
21axaṭer akken ma llan țnadin ɣef nnfeɛ-nsen, mačči ɣef nnfeɛ n Ɛisa Lmasiḥ.
21For all seek their own things, not the things of Jesus Christ.
22Tessnem tikli n Timuṭi, am weqcic ɣer baba-s, yefka tudert-is yid-i i ubecceṛ n lexbaṛ n lxiṛ.
22But ye know the proof of him, that, as a child a father, he has served with me in the work of the glad tidings.
23Ihi akken kan ara tefru temsalt-iw, a wen-t-in-ceggɛeɣ
23Him therefore I hope to send immediately, as soon as I shall see how it goes with me:
24yerna sɛiɣ lețkal di Ssid-nneɣ belli qṛib a n-aseɣ s yiman-iw ɣuṛ-wen.
24but I trust in [the] Lord that I myself also shall soon come;
25Walaɣ ilaq-iyi a wen-ceggɛeɣ gma-tneɣ Ebafrudit, amdakkul-iw di lxedma d uḥareb ɣef ddemma n lexbaṛ n lxiṛ, win akken i yi-d-tceggɛem yewwi-yi-d s ɣuṛ-wen ayen akk ḥwaǧeɣ ;
25but I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-workman and fellow-soldier, but your messenger and minister to my need,
26iccedha-kkun meṛṛa yerna yeḥzen aṭas imi teslam yis yehlek.
26since he had a longing desire after you all, and was distressed because ye had heard that he was sick;
27?-țideț ihlek armi yewweḍ lmut ; meɛna iɣaḍ Sidi Ṛebbi yerna mačči kan d nețța i t-iɣaḍen, ɣaḍeɣ-t ula d nekk iwakken ur d-iɣelli ara fell-i leḥzen ɣef wayeḍ.
27for he was also sick close to death, but God had mercy on him, and not indeed on him alone, but also on me, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.
28Ceggɛeɣ-t-in s lemɣawla, iwakken aț-țfeṛḥem m'ara t-twalim yerna ula d nekk leḥzen-iw ad yifsus.
28I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that seeing him ye might again rejoice, and that *I* might be the less sorrowful.
29Sṭerḥbet yis s lfeṛḥ d ameqqran, s wakken yuklal yal yiwen yellan deg ubrid n Lmasiḥ ; qadṛet imdanen am wigi
29Receive him therefore in [the] Lord with all joy, and hold such in honour;
30axaṭer ɣef ddemma n leqdic ɣef Lmasiḥ i gewweḍ ɣer lmut, mi gsebbel ṛṛuḥ-is iwakken ad ixdem ayen akken ur tezmirem ara a yi-t-txedmem kunwi.
30because for the sake of the work he drew near even to death, venturing his life that he might fill up what lacked in your ministration toward me.
