Revelation

17

1Mbeɛd ayagi, yiwen si sebɛa lmalayekkat-nni yeṭṭfen sebɛa teqbucin yusa-d yenna-yi-d : -- As-ed a k-d-sneɛteɣ amek ara yețwaḥkem ɣef tmenɛult tameqqrant i gebnan ɣef yisaffen imeqqranen.
1And one of the seven angels, which had the seven bowls, came and spoke with me, saying, Come here, I will shew thee the sentence of the great harlot who sits upon the many waters;
2Yid-es i zennun igelliden n ddunit, ɣef ddemma-s i ffɣen imezdaɣ n ddunit seg ubrid n Sidi Ṛebbi.
2with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication; and they that dwell on the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3Deg uweḥḥi ufiɣ-ed iman-iw deg unezṛuf. Walaɣ yiwet tmeṭṭut teqqim ɣef yiwen lweḥc, rric-is d azeggaɣ, țwaketben fell-as yismawen n rregmat, yesɛa sebɛa iqeṛṛay akk-d ɛecṛa wacciwen.
3And he carried me away in spirit to a desert; and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4Tameṭṭut-nni telsa llebsa ifazen țțazeggaɣt, tcebbeḥ iman-is s ddheb d yedɣaɣen ɣlayen akk-d iɛeqcan. Teṭṭef deg ufus-is taqbuct n ddheb yeččuṛen ț-țicmatin, yeɛni ayen ineǧsen d wayen iɛefnen n yir lecɣal is.
4And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and had ornaments of gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and the unclean things of her fornication;
5Yețwakteb ɣef wunyir-is yiwen yisem iwumi yețwaffer lmeɛna-s : Babilun tucmiț tameqqrant i seg d-kkant tecmatin akk-d leḥṛamat meṛṛa n ddunit.
5and upon her forehead a name written, Mystery, great Babylon, the mother of the harlots, and of the abominations of the earth.
6Walaɣ tameṭṭut-nni teskeṛ s idammen n wid yextaṛ Sidi Ṛebbi, d idammen n inigan n Lmasiḥ. Mi ț-walaɣ, wehmeɣ deg-s.
6And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And I wondered, seeing her, with great wonder.
7Yekker lmelk-nni yenna-yi-d : Acuɣeṛ i twehmeḍ ? Atan a k-d sfehmeɣ lbaḍna n tmeṭṭut-agi akk-d lweḥc i ț-yețbibbin, win akken yesɛan sebɛa iqeṛṛay d ɛecṛa wacciwen.
7And the angel said to me, Why hast thou wondered? *I* will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast which carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
8Lweḥc-nni twalaḍ, zik yella yedder, tura ulac-it.
8The beast which thou sawest was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go into destruction: and they who dwell on the earth, whose names are not written from the founding of the world in the book of life, shall wonder, seeing the beast, that it was, and is not, and shall be present.
9Dagi, tlaq tmusni d lefhama iwakken ad țwafehment lbaḍnat-agi : sebɛa iqeṛṛay-nni țmettilen-d sebɛa idurar i ɣef tesbedd lḥekma-s tmeṭṭut-nni ; țmettilen-d daɣen sebɛa igelliden :
9Here is the mind that has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains, whereon the woman sits.
10xemsa deg-sen ɣlin, yiwen mazal-it, wayeḍ urɛad ur d-yusi, yerna asm'ara d-yas ad yeḥkem kra n lweqt kan.
10And there are seven kings: five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes he must remain [only] a little while.
11Lweḥc-nni yellan zik yuɣal ulac-it, d nețța i d agellid wis tmanya, yella daɣen d yiwen si sebɛa-nni ara iṛuḥen ɣer nnger.
11And the beast that was and is not, he also is an eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into destruction.
12Ɛecṛa wacciwen nni i twalaḍ, țmettilen-d ɛecṛa igelliden urɛad nesɛi lḥekma, lameɛna a d-yas lweqt i deg ara ḥekmen azal n ssaɛa akk-d lweḥc.
12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have not yet received a kingdom, but receive authority as kings one hour with the beast.
13Msefhamen s yiwen ṛṛay, ad ɛawnen lweḥc s tezmert-nsen akk-d lḥekma-nsen.
13These have one mind, and give their power and authority to the beast.
14Ad sekkren imenɣi akk-d Izimer meɛna a ten-yeɣleb imi d nețța i d Ssid n Ssyadi, i d agellid n igelliden ; wid i gextaṛ daɣen iwumi i d-yessawel, i t-iḍuɛen a ten-ɣelben ula d nutni.
14These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them; for he is Lord of lords and King of kings: and they [that are] with him called, and chosen, and faithful.
15Lmelk yenna-yi-d daɣen : Aman-agi n isaffen i twalaḍ i ɣef tesbedd lḥekma-s tmeṭṭut-nni tucmiț, țmettilen-d igduden, lɣaci d leǧnas n mkul tutlayt.
15And he says to me, The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.
16Ɛecṛa wacciwen-nni i twalaḍ akk-d lweḥc, ad uɣalen ad keṛhen tameṭṭut-nni tucmiț, a ț-ɛerrin ad ččen aksum-is, imiren ad sseṛɣen ayen i d-yeqqimen seg-s.
16And the ten horns which thou sawest, and the beast, these shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her with fire;
17D Sidi Ṛebbi i ten-iwellhen akken ad xedmen lebɣi-s, ddukklen ɣef yiwen ṛṛay iwakken ad fken lḥekma i lweḥc alamma yedṛa-d lebɣi n Sidi Ṛebbi.
17for God has given to their hearts to do his mind, and to act with one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18Ma ț-țameṭṭut-nni tucmiț i twalaḍ, tețmettil-ed tamdint tameqqrant i gḥekmen ɣef yigelliden n ddunit.
18And the woman which thou sawest is the great city, which has kingship over the kings of the earth.
