1Mi d-iffeɣ Sidna Ɛisa si lǧameɛ iqedsen, yiwen seg inelmaden-is yenna-yas : A Sidi, muqel acḥal yecbeḥ lebni-agi ! Acḥal cebḥen yedɣaɣen-is !
1As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!”
2Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yas : Deg wayagi irkul i tețwaliḍ, ur d-yețɣimi yiwen wedɣaɣ ɣef wayeḍ ; kullec ad ihudd.
2Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down.”
3Sidna Ɛisa yeqqim deg iɣil uzemmur iqublen lǧameɛ iqedsen. Buṭrus, Yeɛqub, Yuḥenna akk-d Andriyus i gellan yid-es, steqsan-t :
3As he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,
4Ini-yaɣ-d melmi ara d-yedṛu wayagi ; d acu ara ɣ-d-isbeggnen lweqt i deg ara yedṛu wannect-a.
4“Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be fulfilled?”
5Imiren, Sidna Ɛisa yebda yețweṣṣi ten : ?uṛ-wat win ara kkun-ikellxen !
5Jesus, answering, began to tell them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
6Axaṭer aṭas ara d-yasen s yisem-iw, a wen-d-inin : « D nekk i d Lmasiḥ » ad kellxen i waṭas n lɣaci.
6 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he! or, “I AM!” ’ and will lead many astray.
7M'ara teslem s tegrawliwin i d-ideṛṛun di mkul amkan akk-d țid i d-iteddun, ur țțaggadet ara axaṭer ilaq a d-yedṛu wannect-nni, lameɛna mačči ț-țaggara n ddunit i d-yewḍen.
7 “When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be troubled. For those must happen, but the end is not yet.
8 Agdud a d-yekker ɣer wayeḍ, tageldit aț-țennaɣ ț-țayeḍ, a d-ilint zzelzlat di kra imukan, a d-yili laẓ ; akkagi ara d-yebdu leɛtab di ddunit.
8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains.
9?adret ɣef yiman-nwen ; atan a kkun-caṛɛen zdat lɛulama n ccariɛa, a kkun-wten di leǧwameɛ. ?ef ddemma-w, a kkun-sbedden zdat wid i gḥekmen tamurt akk-d igelliden iwakken aț-țilim d inigan-iw zdat-nsen.
9 But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.
10Lameɛna di tazwara ilaq lexbaṛ n lxiṛ ad ițwabecceṛ uqbel i leǧnas meṛṛa.
10 The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.
11M'ara kkun-ẓẓuɣṛen a kkun awin ɣer ccṛeɛ, ur xeddmet ara anezgum ɣef wayen ara tinim ; init-ed kan ayen ara wen-d-yasen di teswiɛt-nni, axaṭer mačči d kunwi ara imeslayen lameɛna d Ṛṛuḥ iqedsen.
11 When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand, or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
12Yiwen ad yefk gma-s ɣer lmut, wayeḍ ad yefk mmi-s ; dderya a d-kkren ɣer imawlan-nsen a ten-ssiwḍen ɣer lmut.
12 “Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
13A kkun-keṛhen irkul ɣef ddemma n yisem-iw. Lameɛna win ara yeṭṭfen alamma ț-țaggara ad ițwasellek.
13 You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.
14Ass m'ara twalim lmuṣiba tameqqrant tella deg umkan anda ur ilaq ara aț-țili, « win ara yeɣṛen ayagi ilaq ad imeyyez ! » ass-nni wid ara yilin di tmurt n Yahuda ad rewlen ɣer idurar ;
14 But when you see the abomination of desolation, Daniel 9:17; 11:31; 12:11 spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,
15win ara yilin s ufella n ssqef, ur ikeččem ara ɣer wexxam-is iwakken a d-iddem leḥwayeǧ-is.
15 and let him who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house.
16Akken daɣen win ara yilin di lexla, ur yețțuɣal ara ɣer deffir iwakken a d-yawi abeṛnus-is.
16 Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
17A tawaɣit n tilawin ara yilin s tadist akk-d țid ara yeṣṣuṭuḍen deg wussan-nni.
17 But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days!
18Dɛut ɣer Ṛebbi iwakken ur d-ideṛṛu ara wannect-nni di ccetwa,
18 Pray that your flight won’t be in the winter.
19axaṭer deg wussan-nni, ad yili yiwen n leɛtab ur neẓri seg wasmi i d-texleq ddunit ar ass-a, yerna d ayen ur nețțuɣal a d-yedṛu.
19 For in those days there will be oppression, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be.
20Lemmer ur yessenqes ara Sidi Ṛebbi kra seg wussan-nni, yiwen ur yezmir ad imneɛ. Meɛna issenqes seg-sen ɣef ddemma n wid yextaṛ.
20 Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the chosen ones, whom he picked out, he shortened the days.
21Di lweqt-nni ma yenna-yawen walebɛaḍ : « Lmasiḥ atah dagi » neɣ «atan dihin», ur t-țțamnet ara.
21 Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ don’t believe it.
22Axaṭer a d-asen wid ara yerren iman-nsen d Lmasiḥ neɣ d lenbiya, ad xeddmen lbeṛhanat akk-d licaṛat, iwakken ad kellxen ma zemren ula d wid yextaṛ Sidi Ṛebbi.
22 For there will arise false christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
23Atah nniɣ-awen-d annect-agi uqbel a d-yeḍru. --
23 But you watch. “Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
24 M'ara ɛeddin wussan n twaɣit-nni, tafat n yiṭij aț-țenqes, aggur ur d-yețțak ara tiziri-ines,
24 But in those days, after that oppression, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light,
25 itran daɣen a d-ɣlin seg igenni, t inezmarin n igenwan ad rgagint .
25 the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. Isaiah 13:10; 34:4
26Imiren, ad anwali Mmi-s n bunadem yusa-d s ufella n usigna s tezmert tameqqrant d lɛaḍima.
26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
27A d-iceggeɛ lmalayekkat-is ɣer yal amkan n ddunit, a d-snejmaɛen seg yixfawen n ddunit wid i gextaṛ meṛṛa.
27 Then he will send out his angels, and will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the sky.
28Meyyzet ihi ɣef lemtel n tmeɣṛust : mi lqaqit isegman-is, fsan, fkan-d iferrawen, teẓram iqeṛṛeb-ed unebdu.
28 “Now from the fig tree, learn this parable. When the branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near;
29Akken ula d kunwi, m'ara twalim ayagi meṛṛa yewweḍ-ed, ḥṣut belli yusa-d lweqt, Mmi-s n bunadem atan ɣer tewwurt.
29 even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.
30A wen-d-iniɣ tideț : lǧil-agi ur ițɛeddi ara alamma yedṛa-d wayagi meṛṛa.
30 Most certainly I say to you, this generation The word translated “generation” (genea) could also be translated “race,” “family,” or “people.” will not pass away until all these things happen.
31Igenni d lqaɛa ad fnun ma d imeslayen-iw ur fennun ara.
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
32?ef wayen yeɛnan ass akk-d lweqt-nni yiwen ur ten-yessin, ama d lmalayekkat deg igenwan ama d Mmi-s n bunadem, anagar Baba Ṛebbi i ten-isnen.
32 But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
33Ur gganet ara, ɛasset iman-nwen imi ur teẓrim ara melmi ara d-yaweḍ lweqt-nni.
33 Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don’t know when the time is.
34Ad yili wass-nni am yiwen wergaz ara yinigen ɣer lebɛid, ad iwekkel axxam-is i iqeddacen-is, yal yiwen s ccɣel-is, imiren ad iweṣṣi aɛessas n tewwurt ad iɛiwez.
34 “It is like a man, traveling to another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.
35Ɛiwzet ihi, axaṭer ur teẓrim ara melmi ara d-yas bab n wexxam, ama tameddit neɣ țnaṣfa n yiḍ, m'ara yeskkuɛ uyaziḍ neɣ taṣebḥit.
35 Watch therefore, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming, whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;
36?adret a kkun-id-yaf teṭṭsem imi ur teẓrim ara melmi ara d-yas.
36 lest coming suddenly he might find you sleeping.
37Ayen akka i wen-d-nniɣ, nniɣ t-id i mkul yiwen deg-wen : ɛiwzet !
37 What I tell you, I tell all: Watch.”
