⁵But whoever keeps his word, God’s love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him:

⁷កូនចៅជាទីស្រឡាញ់អើយ ខ្ញុំមិនសរសេរបទបញ្ជា ថ្មីណាមួយមកជូនអ្នករាល់គ្នាឡើយ គឺខ្ញុំសរសេរបទបញ្ជាចាស់ ជាបទបញ្ជាដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានទទួលតាំងពីដើមរៀងមក។ បទបញ្ជា ចាស់នេះ ជាព្រះបន្ទូលដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាធ្លាប់បានឮរួចមកហើយ។

⁷Brothers, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.

⁹អ្នកណាអះអាងថាខ្លួនស្ថិតនៅក្នុងពន្លឺ តែស្អប់បងប្អូនអ្នកនោះស្ថិតនៅក្នុងសេចក្ដីងងឹតនៅឡើយ។

⁹He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now.

¹⁰អ្នកណាស្រឡាញ់បងប្អូន អ្នកនោះស្ថិតនៅក្នុងពន្លឺហើយគ្មានអ្វីធ្វើអោយគាត់រវាតចិត្ដចេញពីជំនឿឡើយ។

¹⁰He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.

¹¹រីឯអ្នកណាស្អប់បងប្អូន អ្នកនោះស្ថិតនៅក្នុងសេចក្ដីងងឹត គេរស់ក្នុងសេចក្ដីងងឹត ទាំងពុំដឹងថាខ្លួនកំពុងទៅណាផង ព្រោះសេចក្ដីងងឹតបានធ្វើអោយភ្នែករបស់គេទៅជាខ្វាក់។

¹¹But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

¹²ម្នាលកូនចៅទាំងឡាយអើយ ខ្ញុំសរសេរមកអ្នករាល់គ្នាថា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានលើកលែងទោសអ្នកអោយរួចពីបាប ដោយសារព្រះនាមរបស់ព្រះយេស៊ូ។

¹²I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

¹³ចាស់ទុំទាំងឡាយអើយ ខ្ញុំសរសេរមកអ្នករាល់គ្នាថា អ្នកបានស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គដែលគង់នៅតាំងពីមុនកំណើតអ្វីៗទាំងអស់។ យុវជនទាំងឡាយអើយ ខ្ញុំសរសេរមកអ្នករាល់គ្នាថា អ្នកបានឈ្នះមារ កំណាចហើយ។

¹³I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you know the Father.

¹⁴ក្មេងៗទាំងឡាយអើយ ខ្ញុំបានសរសេរមកអ្នករាល់គ្នាថា អ្នកបានស្គាល់ព្រះបិតា។ ចាស់ទុំទាំងឡាយអើយ ខ្ញុំបានសរសេរមកអ្នករាល់គ្នាថាអ្នកបានស្គាល់ព្រះអង្គ ដែលគង់នៅតាំងពីមុនកំណើតអ្វីៗទាំងអស់។ យុវជនទាំងឡាយអើយ ខ្ញុំបានសរសេរមកអ្នករាល់គ្នាថា អ្នកមានកម្លាំងពលំ ព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ក៏ស្ថិតនៅក្នុងអ្នក ហើយអ្នកបានឈ្នះមារកំណាច។

¹⁴I have written to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

¹⁵កុំស្រឡាញ់លោកីយ៍ និង អ្វីៗនៅក្នុងលោកីយ៍នេះឡើយ។ អ្នកណាស្រឡាញ់លោកីយ៍ សេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់របស់ព្រះបិតាមិនស្ថិតនៅក្នុងអ្នកនោះទេ។

¹⁵Don’t love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.

¹⁶អ្វីៗនៅក្នុងលោកីយ៍នេះ ដូចជាចិត្ដលោភលន់របស់មនុស្ស ចិត្ដលោភលន់ចង់បានអ្វីៗដែលភ្នែកមើលឃើញ និង អំនួត ព្រោះមានទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិ មិនមែនមកពីព្រះបិតាទេ គឺមកពីគំនិតលោកីយ៍វិញ។

¹⁶For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s.

¹⁷លោកីយ៍នេះកំពុងតែរសាត់បាត់ទៅ ហើយចិត្ដលោភលន់របស់មនុស្សលោកក៏កំពុងតែរសាត់បាត់ទៅដែរ។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ អ្នកដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដតាមព្រះហឫទ័យរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ នឹងនៅស្ថិតស្ថេរគង់វង្សអស់កល្បជានិច្ច។

¹⁷The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever.

¹⁸ម្នាលកូនចៅទាំងឡាយអើយ ពេលនេះ ជាពេលចុងក្រោយបំផុត ដូចអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានឮស្រាប់ហើយថាមានមេប្រឆាំង ព្រះគ្រិស្ដម្នាក់កំពុងតែមក។ ឥឡូវនេះ មានមេប្រឆាំងព្រះគ្រិស្ដជាច្រើននាក់មកដល់មែន ជាហេតុនាំអោយយើងដឹងថា គ្រានេះជាគ្រាចុងក្រោយបំផុតហើយ។

¹⁸Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour.

²⁰You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. Or, “know what is true.” Or, “know all things.”

²¹ខ្ញុំសរសេរមកអ្នករាល់គ្នា មិនមែនមកពីអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនស្គាល់សេចក្ដីពិតនោះទេ គឺខ្ញុំសរសេរមកព្រោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាស្គាល់សេចក្ដីពិតរួចហើយ ហើយគ្មានពាក្យកុហកណាកើតមកពីសេចក្ដីពិតទាល់តែសោះ។

²¹I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.

²²តើនរណាជាអ្នកកុហក? គឺគ្មាននរណាក្រៅពីអ្នកដែលបដិសេធមិនទទួលស្គាល់ព្រះយេស៊ូ ថាជាព្រះគ្រិស្ដ នោះឡើយ។ អ្នកណាបដិសេធមិនទទួលស្គាល់ទាំងព្រះបិតា ទាំងព្រះបុត្រា គឺអ្នកនោះហើយជាមេប្រឆាំង ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ។

²²Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.

²³អ្នកណាមិនទទួលស្គាល់ព្រះបុត្រា អ្នកនោះក៏គ្មានព្រះបិតាគង់ជាមួយដែរ រីឯអ្នកដែលទទួលស្គាល់ព្រះបុត្រា ទើបមានព្រះបិតាគង់ជាមួយ។

²³Whoever denies the Son, the same doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.

²⁴ចំពោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាវិញ ចូរទុកអោយសេចក្ដីដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាធ្លាប់បានឮ តាំងពីដើមដំបូងរៀងមក ស្ថិតនៅជាប់នឹងអ្នករាល់គ្នាចុះ។ ប្រសិនបើសេចក្ដីដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានឮតាំងពីដើមដំបូងរៀងមក ស្ថិតនៅជាប់នឹងអ្នករាល់គ្នាមែន នោះអ្នករាល់គ្នាក៏ស្ថិតនៅជាប់នឹងព្រះបុត្រា និង ព្រះបិតាដែរ។

²⁴Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.

²⁵រីឯព្រះបន្ទូលដែលព្រះអង្គបានសន្យាជាមួយយើងនោះ គឺព្រះអង្គប្រទានជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ចមកយើង។

²⁵This is the promise which he promised us, the eternal life.

²⁶ខ្ញុំសរសេរមកអ្នករាល់គ្នា ស្ដីអំពីពួកអ្នកដែលបានមកបញ្ឆោតអ្នករាល់គ្នាអោយវង្វេង។

²⁶These things I have written to you concerning those who would lead you astray.

²⁷ព្រះវិញ្ញាណដែលព្រះអម្ចាស់ប្រទានមកអ្នករាល់គ្នា ទ្រង់គង់នៅក្នុងអ្នករាល់គ្នាស្រាប់ហើយ ហេតុនេះ អ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនត្រូវការអោយនរណាមកបង្រៀនអ្នករាល់គ្នាឡើយ។ បើព្រះវិញ្ញាណបង្រៀនគ្រប់សេចក្ដីដល់អ្នករាល់គ្នា (ព្រះអង្គមិនកុហកទេ ព្រះអង្គជាសេចក្ដីពិត) ដូច្នេះ អ្នករាល់គ្នាស្ថិតនៅជាប់នឹងព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ដូចព្រះវិញ្ញាណបានបង្រៀនអ្នករាល់គ្នាស្រាប់ហើយ។

²⁷As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.

²⁸ឥឡូវនេះ កូនចៅទាំងឡាយអើយ ចូរស្ថិតនៅជាប់នឹងព្រះយេស៊ូចុះ ដើម្បីអោយយើងមានចិត្ដរឹងប៉ឹងនៅថ្ងៃដែលព្រះអង្គយាងមកយ៉ាងរុងរឿង ហើយពេលព្រះអង្គយាងមកនោះ យើងនឹងមិនត្រូវអៀនខ្មាសនៅចំពោះព្រះភ័ក្ដ្រព្រះអង្គឡើយ។

²⁸Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

²⁹អ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងស្រាប់ហើយថា ព្រះអង្គសុចរិត ហេតុនេះ ចូរអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងដែរថា អស់អ្នកដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដតាមសេចក្ដីសុចរិត សុទ្ធតែកើតមកពីព្រះអង្គទាំងអស់។

²⁹If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of him.
