¹So Pilate then took Jesus, and flogged him.

²ពួកទាហានយកបន្លាមកក្រងធ្វើជាមកុដបំពាក់ព្រះសិរសាព្រះអង្គហើយយកអាវពណ៌ក្រហមទុំមកពាក់អោយព្រះអង្គដែរ។

²The soldiers twisted thorns into a crown, and put it on his head, and dressed him in a purple garment.

³បន្ទាប់មក គេនាំគ្នាចូលទៅជិតព្រះអង្គ ទាំងពោលថា៖ «ស្ដេចយូដាអើយ!សូមថ្វាយបង្គំ» ហើយក៏ទះកំផ្លៀងព្រះអង្គ។

³They kept saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and they kept slapping him.

⁴លោកពីឡាត ចេញទៅជួបជនជាតិយូដា សាជាថ្មីមានប្រសាសន៍ទៅគេថា៖ «មើល៍ខ្ញុំនាំគាត់មកខាងក្រៅ ដើម្បីអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងថា ខ្ញុំពុំឃើញអ្នកនេះមានទោសអ្វីសោះ»។

⁴Then Pilate went out again, and said to them, “Behold, I bring him out to you, that you may know that I find no basis for a charge against him.”

⁵ពេលនោះ ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងចេញមក ទាំងពាក់ភួងបន្លាជាមកុដ និង ពាក់អាវពណ៌ក្រហមទុំផង។ លោកពីឡាតមានប្រសាសន៍ទៅគេថា៖ «មើល៍ មនុស្សហ្នឹងហើយ!»។

⁵Jesus therefore came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple garment. Pilate said to them, “Behold, the man!”

⁶កាលពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ និង កងរក្សាព្រះវិហារ ឃើញព្រះអង្គគេនាំគ្នាស្រែកឡើងថា៖ «ឆ្កាងទៅ! ឆ្កាងទៅ!»។ លោកពីឡាតមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «ចូរអ្នករាល់គ្នាយកគាត់ទៅឆ្កាងខ្លួនឯងទៅ ដ្បិតខ្ញុំពុំឃើញអ្នកនេះមានទោសអ្វីសោះ»។

⁶When therefore the chief priests and the officers saw him, they shouted, saying, “Crucify! Crucify!” Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves, and crucify him, for I find no basis for a charge against him.”

⁷ជនជាតិយូដាជំរាបលោកពីឡាតថា៖ «យើងខ្ញុំមានក្រឹត្យវិន័យហើយតាមក្រឹត្យវិន័យនោះ ជននេះត្រូវតែស្លាប់ ព្រោះគាត់តាំងខ្លួនជាព្រះបុត្រារបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ »។

⁷The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.”

⁸កាលលោកពីឡាតឮដូច្នោះ លោករឹតតែភ័យខ្លាចថែមទៀត។

⁸When therefore Pilate heard this saying, he was more afraid.

⁹លោកចូលទៅក្នុងបន្ទាយវិញ សួរព្រះយេស៊ូថា៖ «អ្នកមកពីណា?»។ ព្រះយេស៊ូពុំបានឆ្លើយតបទៅលោកវិញសោះ។

⁹He entered into the Praetorium again, and said to Jesus, “Where are you from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.

¹⁰ហេតុនេះលោកពីឡាតសួរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ម្ដេចក៏អ្នកមិននិយាយមកខ្ញុំដូច្នេះ?អ្នកមិនដឹងថាខ្ញុំមានអំណាចដោះលែងអ្នកក៏បានឬឆ្កាងអ្នកក៏បានទេឬ?»។

¹⁰Pilate therefore said to him, “Aren’t you speaking to me? Don’t you know that I have power to release you, and have power to crucify you?”

¹¹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបទៅគាត់ថា៖ «ប្រសិនបើមិនបានទទួលអំណាចពីស្ថានលើមកទេលោកគ្មានអំណាចលើខ្ញុំឡើយ ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាអ្នកដែលចាប់បញ្ជូនខ្ញុំមកលោក មានបាប ធ្ងន់ជាងលោកទៅទៀត»។

¹¹Jesus answered, “You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered me to you has greater sin.”

¹²តាំងពីពេលនោះមក លោកពីឡាតរកមធ្យោបាយដោះលែងព្រះយេស៊ូ ប៉ុន្ដែ ជនជាតិយូដានាំគ្នាស្រែកឡើងថា៖ «បើលោកដោះលែងជននេះ លោកមិនមែនជាមិត្ដសំឡាញ់របស់ព្រះចៅអធិរាជឡើយ ដ្បិតអ្នកណាតាំងខ្លួនជាស្ដេច អ្នកនោះប្រឆាំងនឹងព្រះចៅអធិរាជ!»។

¹²At this, Pilate was seeking to release him, but the Jews cried out, saying, “If you release this man, you aren’t Caesar’s friend! Everyone who makes himself a king speaks against Caesar!”

¹³កាលលោកពីឡាតឮពាក្យនេះ លោកនាំព្រះយេស៊ូទៅខាងក្រៅ អោយគង់លើវេទិកាសំរាប់កាត់ក្ដី នៅត្រង់កន្លែងមួយ ឈ្មោះ"លានក្រាលថ្ម" ដែលគេហៅជាភាសាហេប្រឺថា "កាប្បាថា"

¹³When Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called “The Pavement,” but in Hebrew, “Gabbatha.”

¹⁴ពេលនោះ ជាថ្ងៃដែលគេរៀបចំបុណ្យចម្លង ហើយប្រមាណជាពេលថ្ងៃត្រង់។ លោកពីឡាតមានប្រសាសន៍ទៅកាន់ជនជាតិយូដាថា៖ «នេះនែ៎! ស្ដេចរបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នា»។

¹⁴Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, at about the sixth hour. “the sixth hour” would have been 6:00 AM according to the Roman timekeeping system, or noon for the Jewish timekeeping system in use, then. He said to the Jews, “Behold, your King!”

¹⁵ប៉ុន្ដែ ជនជាតិយូដាស្រែកឡើងថា៖ «សម្លាប់ចោលទៅ! ឆ្កាងទៅ!»។ លោកពីឡាតសួរពួកគេថា៖ «អោយខ្ញុំឆ្កាងស្ដេចរបស់អ្នករាល់គ្នាឬ?»។ ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យឆ្លើយឡើងថា៖ «ក្រៅពីព្រះចៅអធិរាជ យើងខ្ញុំគ្មានស្ដេចឯណាទៀតឡើយ»។

¹⁵They cried out, “Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar!”

¹⁶ពេលនោះ លោកពីឡាតប្រគល់ព្រះយេស៊ូទៅអោយគេឆ្កាង។ គេនាំគ្នាចាប់ព្រះយេស៊ូយកទៅ។

¹⁶So then he delivered him to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus and led him away.

¹⁷ព្រះយេស៊ូលីឈើឆ្កាងដោយផ្ទាល់ព្រះអង្គចេញពីទីក្រុង ឆ្ពោះទៅកន្លែងមួយឈ្មោះ "ទួលលលាដ៍ក្បាល"ដែលគេហៅជាភាសាហេប្រឺថា "គាល់កូថា"

¹⁷He went out, bearing his cross, to the place called “The Place of a Skull,” which is called in Hebrew, “Golgotha,”

¹⁸គេឆ្កាងព្រះអង្គនៅទីនោះ។ គេឆ្កាងអ្នកទោសពីរនាក់ទៀតនៅសងខាងព្រះអង្គដែរ ព្រះយេស៊ូនៅកណ្ដាល។

¹⁸where they crucified him, and with him two others, on either side one, and Jesus in the middle.

¹⁹លោកពីឡាតអោយគេសរសេរប្រកាសបោះភ្ជាប់នឹងឈើឆ្កាង។ នៅលើប្រកាសនោះ មានសរសេរថា «យេស៊ូអ្នកភូមិណាសារ៉ែតជាស្ដេចយូដា»។

¹⁹Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. There was written, “JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”

²⁰ជនជាតិយូដាជាច្រើនបានមើលប្រកាសនោះ ដ្បិតកន្លែងដែលគេឆ្កាងព្រះយេស៊ូនៅក្បែរទីក្រុង ហើយប្រកាសនោះសរសេរជាអក្សរហេប្រឺ ឡាតាំង និង ក្រិក។

²⁰Therefore many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, and in Greek.

²¹ពួកនាយកបូជាចារ្យ របស់ជនជាតិយូដាជំរាបលោកពីឡាតថា៖ «សូមកុំសរសេរថា "ស្ដេចយូដា" ដូច្នេះ តែសរសេរថា"អ្នកនេះនិយាយថា ខ្ញុំជាស្ដេចយូដា"វិញ»។

²¹The chief priests of the Jews therefore said to Pilate, “Don’t write, ‘The King of the Jews,’ but, ‘he said, I am King of the Jews.’”

²²លោកពីឡាតមានប្រសាសន៍តបថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសរសេរយ៉ាងណាហើយ ត្រូវទុកយ៉ាងនោះទៅ!»។

²²Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”

²³ក្រោយពីបានឆ្កាងព្រះយេស៊ូរួចហើយពួកទាហានយកសម្លៀកបំពាក់របស់ព្រះអង្គ មកធ្វើជាបួនចំណែកចែកគ្នាម្នាក់មួយចំណែកៗ។ រីឯអាវវែងរបស់ព្រះអង្គវិញ ជាអាវធ្វើពីក្រណាត់តែមួយផ្ទំាង គ្មានថ្នេរសោះតាំងពីលើដល់ក្រោម។ ដូច្នេះគេនិយាយគ្នាថា៖

²³Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also the coat. Now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

²⁴«កុំហែកអាវនេះ ធ្វើអ្វី យើងចាប់ឆ្នោតវិញ ដើម្បីអោយដឹងថាអាវនេះនឹងបានទៅលើអ្នកណា»។ ពួកទាហានធ្វើដូច្នេះ ស្របតាមសេចក្ដី ដែលមានចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរមកថា៖ «គេបានយកសម្លៀកបំពាក់របស់ទូលបង្គំចែកគ្នាហើយចាប់ឆ្នោតយកអាវវែងរបស់ទូលបង្គំ»។

²⁴Then they said to one another, “Let’s not tear it, but cast lots for it to decide whose it will be,” that the Scripture might be fulfilled, which says, “They parted my garments among them. For my cloak they cast lots.” Psalm 22:18 Therefore the soldiers did these things.

²⁵មាតាព្រះយេស៊ូ ប្អូនស្រីមាតាព្រះអង្គ នាងម៉ារីជាភរិយាលោកក្លូប៉ាស និង នាងម៉ារីជាអ្នកស្រុកម៉ាដាឡា ឈរក្បែរឈើឆ្កាងរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។

²⁵But there were standing by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

²⁶ព្រះយេស៊ូ ឃើញមាតា ព្រមទាំងសិស្សដែលព្រះអង្គស្រឡាញ់នោះឈរនៅជិត ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅមាតាថា៖ «អ្នកអើយ! នេះហើយកូនរបស់អ្នក»។

²⁶Therefore when Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold your son!”

²⁷បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅសិស្សថា៖ «នេះហើយម្ដាយរបស់អ្នក»។ តាំងពីពេលនោះមក សិស្សនោះយកគាត់មកនៅជាមួយ។

²⁷Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour, the disciple took her to his own home.

²⁸បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះយេស៊ូជ្រាបថា ព្រះអង្គបានបង្ហើយកិច្ចការទាំងអស់ចប់សព្វគ្រប់ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំស្រេកទឹក» ដើម្បីអោយបានស្របតាមសេចក្ដីគ្រប់ប្រការ ដែលមានចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរ។

²⁸After this, Jesus, seeing NU, TR read “knowing” instead of “seeing” that all things were now finished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I am thirsty.”

²⁹នៅទីនោះ មានក្រឡមួយមានទឹកខ្មេះពេញ។ ពួកទាហានយកសារាយស្ងួត ជ្រលក់ទឹកខ្មេះជោក រួចរុំនៅចុងត្រែងមួយដើម រុញទៅដល់ព្រះឱស្ឋរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។

²⁹Now a vessel full of vinegar was set there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop, and held it at his mouth.

³⁰កាលព្រះយេស៊ូសោយទឹកខ្មេះហើយ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ខ្ញុំបានសំរេចសព្វគ្រប់អស់ហើយ!»។ ព្រះអង្គក៏ឱនព្រះសិរសាចុះ ហើយប្រគល់វិញ្ញាណទៅ។

³⁰When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished.” He bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.

³¹ថ្ងៃនោះជាថ្ងៃរៀបចំបុណ្យចម្លង ជនជាតិយូដាមិនចង់អោយមានសាកសពជាប់នឹងឈើឆ្កាងនៅថ្ងៃសប្ប័ទ ឡើយ ព្រោះថ្ងៃសប្ប័ទនោះ ជាថ្ងៃបុណ្យធំ។ ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាគេសុំលោកពីឡាតចេញបញ្ជាទៅទាហានអោយបំបាក់ជើងអ្នកជាប់ឆ្កាងហើយយកសាកសពចុះមក។

³¹Therefore the Jews, because it was the Preparation Day, so that the bodies wouldn’t remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a special one), asked of Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

³²ពួកទាហាននាំគ្នាមកវាយបំបាក់ជើង អ្នកទោសទីមួយ និង អ្នកទោសទីពីរ ដែលជាប់លើឈើឆ្កាងជាមួយព្រះអង្គ។

³²Therefore the soldiers came, and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was crucified with him;

³³លុះមកដល់ព្រះយេស៊ូគេឃើញព្រះអង្គសោយទិវង្គតផុតទៅហើយ គេមិនបំបាក់ព្រះបាទាព្រះអង្គទេ

³³but when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was already dead, they didn’t break his legs.

³⁴ប៉ុន្ដែទាហានម្នាក់យកលំពែងចាក់ត្រង់ចន្លោះឆ្អឹងជំនីរព្រះអង្គ ស្រាប់តែមានទឹក និង លោហិតហូរចេញមកមួយរំពេច។

³⁴However one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.

³⁵សិស្សម្នាក់ដែលបានឃើញ ធ្វើជាបន្ទាល់អំពីហេតុការណ៍នេះ ហើយសក្ខីភាពរបស់គាត់ពិតប្រាកដមែន។ ព្រះអង្គដឹងថាសិស្សនោះនិយាយសេចក្ដីពិត ដើម្បីអោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាជឿដែរ។

³⁵He who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, that you may believe.

³⁶ហេតុការណ៍នេះកើតឡើងស្របតាមសេចក្ដីដែលមានចែងទុកក្នុងគម្ពីរមកថា៖ «គ្មានឆ្អឹងណាមួយរបស់លោកត្រូវបាក់បែកឡើយ»។

³⁶For these things happened, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, “A bone of him will not be broken.” Exodus 12:46; Numbers 9:12; Psalm 34:20

³⁷មានអត្ថបទគម្ពីរមួយទៀត ចែងថា៖«គេនាំគ្នាមើលអ្នកដែលគេចាក់ទម្លុះ»។

³⁷Again another Scripture says, “They will look on him whom they pierced.” Zechariah 12:10

³⁸បន្ទាប់មក លោកយ៉ូសែប ជាអ្នកស្រុកអើរីម៉ាថេបានទៅសុំច្បាប់លោកពីឡាត យកព្រះសពព្រះយេស៊ូ។ លោកយ៉ូសែបនេះក៏ជាសិស្ស របស់ព្រះយេស៊ូដែរតែមិនហ៊ានចេញមុខទេ ព្រោះខ្លាចជនជាតិយូដា។ លោកពីឡាតអនុញ្ញាតអោយ ហើយលោកយ៉ូសែបក៏មកដោះព្រះសពយកទៅ។

³⁸After these things, Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, asked of Pilate that he might take away Jesus’ body. Pilate gave him permission. He came therefore and took away his body.

³⁹រីលោកនីកូដេម ដែលមកគាល់ព្រះយេស៊ូទាំងយប់កាលពីមុន ក៏បានមកដែរ។ លោកយកជ័រល្វីងទេស លាយនឹងគ្រឿងក្រអូបប្រមាណជាកន្លះហាបមកផង។

³⁹Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, also came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred Roman pounds. 100 Roman pounds of 12 ounces each, or about 72 pounds, or 33 Kilograms.

⁴⁰លោកទាំងពីរយកព្រះសពព្រះយេស៊ូមករុំនឹងសំពត់ស្នប អប់គ្រឿងក្រអូបតាមទំនៀមទម្លាប់ពិធីបញ្ចុះសពរបស់ជនជាតិយូដា។

⁴⁰So they took Jesus’ body, and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury.

⁴¹នៅកន្លែងគេឆ្កាងព្រះយេស៊ូមានសួនឧទ្យានមួយ ក្នុងសួននោះមានផ្នូរមួយថ្មី ពុំទាន់ដែលដាក់សពណានៅឡើយ។

⁴¹Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden. In the garden was a new tomb in which no man had ever yet been laid.

⁴²គេដាក់ព្រះយេស៊ូនៅក្នុងផ្នូរនោះព្រោះនៅជិតស្រាប់ ដ្បិតថ្ងៃនោះជាថ្ងៃរៀបចំបុណ្យចម្លង ។

⁴²Then because of the Jews’ Preparation Day (for the tomb was near at hand) they laid Jesus there.
