¹After he had finished speaking in the hearing of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

²នៅក្រុងនោះ មានអ្នកបំរើសំណព្វចិត្ដរបស់នាយទាហានររ៉ូម៉ាំងម្នាក់ មានជំងឺជាទម្ងន់ ជិតស្លាប់។

²A certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and at the point of death.

³ពេលនាយ ទាហាននោះឮគេនិយាយអំពីព្រះយេស៊ូ គាត់ក៏ចាត់ចាស់ទុំនៃជនជាតិយូដាខ្លះអោយទៅយាងព្រះអង្គ មកប្រោស អ្នកបំរើរបស់គាត់។

³When he heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and save his servant.

⁴ចាស់ទុំទាំងនោះទៅគាល់ព្រះយេស៊ូទទូចអង្វរព្រះអង្គថា៖ «នាយទាហាននោះជាមនុស្សម្នាក់ ដែលគួរតែលោកប្រោសប្រណីដល់គាត់

⁴When they came to Jesus, they begged him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy for you to do this for him,

⁵ព្រោះគាត់ស្រឡាញ់ជាតិសាសន៍របស់យើង ថែមទាំងបានសង់សាលាប្រជុំ អោយយើងផង»។

⁵for he loves our nation, and he built our synagogue for us.”

⁶ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងទៅជាមួយចាស់ទុំទាំងនោះ។ លុះយាងជិតដល់ហើយនាយទាហានចាត់មិត្ដភក្ដិរបស់គាត់អោយមកទូលថា៖ «លោកម្ចាស់! មិនបាច់អញ្ជើញចូលផ្ទះខ្ញុំប្របាទទេ ដ្បិតខ្ញុំប្របាទ មានឋានៈទន់ទាបណាស់មិនសមនឹងទទួលលោកក្នុងផ្ទះខ្ញុំប្របាទឡើយ។

⁶Jesus went with them. When he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, “Lord, don’t trouble yourself, for I am not worthy for you to come under my roof.

⁷ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាខ្ញុំប្របាទមិនហ៊ានមកជួបលោកផ្ទាល់។ សូមលោកមេត្ដាមានប្រសាសន៍តែមួយម៉ាត់ នោះអ្នកបំរើរបស់ខ្ញុំប្របាទនឹងជាសះស្បើយ មិនខាន។

⁷Therefore I didn’t even think myself worthy to come to you; but say the word, and my servant will be healed.

⁸For I also am a man placed under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

⁹កាលព្រះយេស៊ូទ្រង់ព្រះសណ្ដាប់ពាក្យទាំងនេះហើយ ព្រះអង្គស្ងើចសរសើរនាយទាហាននោះណាស់។ ព្រះអង្គងាកទៅរកបណ្ដាជនដែលដើរតាមព្រះអង្គ ហើយមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖«ខ្ញុំមិនដែលឃើញនរណាមានជំនឿបែបនេះឡើយ ទោះបីនៅស្រុកអ៊ីស្រាអែលក៏គ្មានផង»។

⁹When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turned and said to the multitude who followed him, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith, no, not in Israel.”

¹⁰មិត្ដភក្ដិដែល នាយទាហានចាត់អោយមក ក៏វិលត្រឡប់ទៅវិញ ឃើញអ្នកបំរើបានជាសះស្បើយ។

¹⁰Those who were sent, returning to the house, found that the servant who had been sick was well.

¹¹ក្រោយមកទៀត ព្រះយេស៊ូយាងឆ្ពោះទៅភូមិមួយឈ្មោះណាអ៊ីន។ សិស្សរបស់ព្រះអង្គ និង បណ្ដាជនជាច្រើន ក៏ធ្វើដំណើរទៅជាមួយព្រះអង្គដែរ។

¹¹It happened soon afterwards, that he went to a city called Nain. Many of his disciples, along with a great multitude, went with him.

¹²ពេលព្រះអង្គយាងមកជិតដល់ទ្វារកំពែងក្រុង មានគេដង្ហែសពយកទៅបញ្ចុះ។ បុគ្គលដែលស្លាប់នោះ ជាកូនប្រុសតែមួយរបស់ស្ដ្រីមេម៉ាយម្នាក់។ អ្នកស្រុកជាច្រើនបានមកជួយដង្ហែសព ជាមួយគាត់។

¹²Now when he drew near to the gate of the city, behold, one who was dead was carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. Many people of the city were with her.

¹³កាលព្រះអម្ចាស់ឃើញស្ដ្រីមេម៉ាយនោះ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះហឫទ័យអាណិតអាសូរគាត់យ៉ាងខ្លាំង។ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «សូមកុំយំអី!»។

¹³When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her, “Don’t cry.”

¹⁴ព្រះអង្គយាងចូលទៅជិត ទ្រង់ពាល់មឈូស ពួកអ្នកសែង ក៏នាំគ្នាឈប់។ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «អ្នកកំឡោះអើយ! ចូរក្រោកឡើង»។

¹⁴He came near and touched the coffin, and the bearers stood still. He said, “Young man, I tell you, arise!”

¹⁵រំពេចនោះ បុគ្គលដែលស្លាប់ ក៏ក្រោកអង្គុយ ហើយចាប់ផ្ដើមនិយាយស្ដី។ ព្រះយេស៊ូប្រគល់អ្នកកំឡោះទៅម្ដាយវិញ។

¹⁵He who was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother.

¹⁶គេស្ញែងខ្លាចទាំងអស់គ្នា ហើយលើកតម្កើងសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដោយពោល៖«មានព្យាការីដ៏ប្រសើរឧត្ដមមួយរូប បានមកនៅក្នុងចំណោមយើងហើយ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់យាងមករំដោះប្រជារាស្ដ្រ របស់ព្រះអង្គ»។

¹⁶Fear took hold of all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has visited his people!”

¹⁷ពាក្យដែលគេនិយាយអំពីព្រះយេស៊ូ បានលេចឮពាសពេញក្នុងស្រុកយូដា និង តំបន់ជិតខាងទាំងមូល។

¹⁷This report went out concerning him in the whole of Judea, and in all the surrounding region.

¹⁸សិស្សរបស់លោកយ៉ូហាន បានរៀបរាប់ជូនលោកនូវហេតុការណ៍ទាំងអស់នោះ។ លោកយ៉ូហានក៏ហៅសិស្សពីរនាក់មក

¹⁸The disciples of John told him about all these things.

¹⁹រួចចាត់អោយទៅទូលសួរព្រះយេស៊ូជាអម្ចាស់ថា៖ «តើលោកជាព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ដែលត្រូវយាងមក ឬមួយយើងខ្ញុំត្រូវរង់ចាំម្នាក់ផ្សេងទៀត?»។

¹⁹John, calling to himself two of his disciples, sent them to Jesus, saying, “Are you the one who is coming, or should we look for another?”

²⁰អ្នកទាំងពីរទៅដល់ ទូលសួរព្រះយេស៊ូថា៖ «លោកយ៉ូហានបាទីស្ដចាត់អោយយើងខ្ញុំមកសួរលោកថា តើលោកជាព្រះគ្រិស្ដដែលត្រូវយាងមក ឬមួយក៏យើងខ្ញុំត្រូវរង់ចាំម្នាក់ ផ្សេងទៀត?»។

²⁰When the men had come to him, they said, “John the Baptizer has sent us to you, saying, ‘Are you he who comes, or should we look for another?’”

²¹នៅគ្រានោះព្រះយេស៊ូកំពុងប្រោសអ្នកជំងឺមនុស្សពិការ និង មនុស្សដែលមានវិញ្ញាណអាក្រក់ នៅក្នុងខ្លួនអោយបានជា។ ព្រះអង្គក៏បានប្រោសមនុស្សខ្វាក់ជាច្រើនអោយមើលឃើញដែរ។

²¹In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits; and to many who were blind he gave sight.

²²ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅសិស្សទាំងពីរនាក់នោះថា៖ «ចូរអ្នកទៅជំរាបលោកយ៉ូហាន នូវហេតុការណ៍ដែលអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានឃើញ និង បានឮ គឺមនុស្សខ្វាក់មើលឃើញ មនុស្សខ្វិនដើរបាន មនុស្សឃ្លង់ជាស្អាតបរិសុទ្ធ មនុស្សថ្លង់ស្ដាប់ឮ មនុស្សស្លាប់បានរស់ឡើងវិញ ហើយគេនាំដំណឹងល្អ ទៅប្រាប់ជនក្រីក្រ។

²²Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John the things which you have seen and heard: that the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.

²³អ្នកណាមិនរវាតចិត្ដចេញពីជំនឿព្រោះតែខ្ញុំ អ្នកនោះពិតជាមានសុភមង្គលហើយ!»។

²³ Blessed is he who finds no occasion for stumbling in me.”

²⁴ពេលសិស្សរបស់លោកយ៉ូហានត្រឡប់ទៅវិញ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅមហាជនអំពីលោកយ៉ូហានថា៖«តើអ្នករាល់គ្នាទៅវាលរហោស្ថានរកមើលអ្វី? មើលដើមត្រែងដែលត្រូវខ្យល់បក់នោះឬ?

²⁴When John’s messengers had departed, he began to tell the multitudes about John, “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?

²⁵តើអ្នករាល់គ្នាទៅរកមើលអ្វី? មើលមនុស្សស្លៀកពាក់ល្អរុងរឿងឬ? តាមធម្មតា អស់អ្នកដែលស្លៀកពាក់ល្អរុងរឿង ហើយមានជីវភាពខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ គេរស់នៅក្នុងវាំងឯណោះ។

²⁵ But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Behold, those who are gorgeously dressed, and live delicately, are in kings’ courts.

²⁶បើដូច្នេះ តើអ្នករាល់គ្នាទៅរកមើលអ្វី? រកមើលព្យាការី ម្នាក់ឬ?។ ត្រូវហើយ! ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងថា លោកនោះប្រសើរជាងព្យាការីទៅទៀត

²⁶ But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet.

²⁷ដ្បិតក្នុងគម្ពីរមានចែងអំពីលោកយ៉ូហានថា "យើងចាត់ទូតយើងអោយទៅមុនព្រះអង្គ ដើម្បីរៀបចំផ្លូវរបស់ព្រះអង្គ"។

²⁷ This is he of whom it is written, ‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.’ Malachi 3:1

²⁸ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងថា បណ្ដាមនុស្សដែលកើតមកក្នុងលោកនេះ ពុំមាននរណាម្នាក់ប្រសើរជាងលោកយ៉ូហានឡើយ។ ប៉ុន្ដែ អ្នកណាតូចជាងគេនៅក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ អ្នកនោះប្រសើរលើសលោកយ៉ូហានទៅទៀត។

²⁸ “For I tell you, among those who are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptizer, yet he who is least in the Kingdom of God is greater than he.”

²⁹ប្រជាជនទាំងមូល និង អ្នកទារពន្ធ បានស្ដាប់លោកយ៉ូហាន ទទួលស្គាល់ថា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ពិតជាមានព្រះហឫទ័យសុចរិតមែន ហើយនាំគ្នាទទួលពិធីជ្រមុជទឹក ពីលោក។

²⁹When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they declared God to be just, having been baptized with John’s baptism.

³⁰រីឯពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី និង ពួកបណ្ឌិតខាងវិន័យ មិនទទួលស្គាល់គំរោងការដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានរៀបចំសំរាប់គេនោះទេ គឺគេបដិសេធមិនព្រមទទួលពិធីជ្រមុជទឹកពីលោកយ៉ូហាន។

³⁰But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the counsel of God, not being baptized by him themselves.

³¹តើខ្ញុំប្រដូចមនុស្សជំនាន់នេះ ទៅនឹងមនុស្សប្រភេទណា? តើគេដូចនរណា?

³¹ TR adds “But the Lord said,” “To what then will I liken the people of this generation? What are they like?

³²គឺគេប្រៀបបីដូចជាកូនក្មេងដែលអង្គុយលេងនៅផ្សារ ហើយស្រែកដាក់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកថា "យើងបានផ្លុំខ្លុយ តែពួកឯងមិនព្រមរំា យើងបានស្មូតបទទំនួញ តែពួកឯងក៏ពុំព្រមយំដែរ"។

³² They are like children who sit in the marketplace, and call one to another, saying, ‘We piped to you, and you didn’t dance. We mourned, and you didn’t weep.’

³³យ៉ាងណាមិញ លោកយ៉ូហានបាទីស្ដបានមក លោកតមអាហារ លោកតមសុរាតែអ្នករាល់គ្នាថា លោកមានអារក្សចូល

³³ For John the Baptizer came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’

³⁴រីឯបុត្រមនុស្ស ក៏បានមកដែរ លោកបរិភោគអាហារ និង ពិសាសុរា តែអ្នករាល់គ្នាថា "មើលចុះអ្នកនេះគិតតែពីស៊ីផឹក ហើយសេពគប់ជាមួយពួកទារពន្ធ និង មនុស្សបាប"។

³⁴ The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man, and a drunkard; a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’

³⁵ប៉ុន្ដែ អស់អ្នកដែលមានប្រាជ្ញាទទួលស្គាល់ថា ព្រះប្រាជ្ញាញាណរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ពិតជាល្អត្រឹមត្រូវមែន»។

³⁵ Wisdom is justified by all her children.”

³⁶មានបុរសម្នាក់ខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី បានយាងព្រះយេស៊ូទៅសោយព្រះស្ងោយ ព្រះអង្គក៏យាងទៅផ្ទះបុរសនោះ ហើយគង់រួមតុជាមួយគាត់។

³⁶One of the Pharisees invited him to eat with him. He entered into the Pharisee’s house, and sat at the table.

³⁷នៅក្រុងនោះ មានស្ដ្រីម្នាក់មានកេរ្ដិ៍ឈ្មោះមិនល្អ។ ពេលឮថាព្រះយេស៊ូគង់នៅក្នុងផ្ទះអ្នកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី នោះនាងយកដបថ្មកែវដាក់ប្រេងក្រអូបចូលមក។

³⁷Behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that he was reclining in the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of ointment.

³⁸នាងនៅពីក្រោយព្រះយេស៊ូក្រាបទៀបព្រះបាទាព្រះអង្គនាងយំ សំរក់ទឹកភ្នែកជោកព្រះបាទាព្រះយេស៊ូ ហើយយកសក់មកជូត។ បន្ទាប់មក នាងថើប រួចយកប្រេងក្រអូបមកចាក់ពីលើផង។

³⁸Standing behind at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with the hair of her head, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

³⁹ពេលបុរសម្ចាស់ផ្ទះឃើញដូច្នោះ គាត់រិះគិតក្នុងចិត្ដថា៖ «បើលោកនេះពិតជាព្យាការី មែន ច្បាស់ជាលោកជ្រាបថា ស្ដ្រីដែលពាល់លោកនេះ ជាស្ដ្រីប្រភេទណាពុំខានគឺនាងជាមនុស្សបាប»។

³⁹Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, “This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, that she is a sinner.”

⁴⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅបុរសខាងគណៈផារីស៊ីនោះថា៖«លោកស៊ីម៉ូនខ្ញុំចង់ និយាយរឿងមួយ ជាមួយលោក»។ លោកស៊ីម៉ូនទូលតបទៅព្រះអង្គថា៖ «សូមលោកគ្រូមានប្រសាសន៍មកចុះ»។

⁴⁰Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” He said, “Teacher, say on.”

⁴¹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «មានមនុស្សពីរនាក់ជំពាក់ប្រាក់គេ ម្នាក់ជំពាក់ប្រាំរយ ម្នាក់ទៀតហាសិប។

⁴¹ “A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.

⁴²ដោយអ្នកទាំងពីរគ្មានប្រាក់សង ម្ចាស់ប្រាក់ក៏លុបបំណុលចោល ឈប់ទារពីអ្នកទាំងពីរនោះទៅ។ ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នក ទាំងពីរ តើអ្នកណាស្រឡាញ់ម្ចាស់បំណុលជាង?»។

⁴² When they couldn’t pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?”

⁴³លោកស៊ីម៉ូនទូលឆ្លើយថា៖ «តាមយោបល់ខ្ញុំ គឺអ្នកដែល ជំពាក់ប្រាក់ច្រើនជាង»។ ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅលោកស៊ីម៉ូនថា៖ «លោកមានយោបល់ត្រឹមត្រូវមែន»។

⁴³Simon answered, “He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most.” He said to him, “You have judged correctly.”

⁴⁴បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះអង្គបែរទៅរកស្ដ្រីនោះ រួចមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅលោកស៊ីម៉ូនថា៖ «សូមមើលស្ដ្រីនេះចុះ! ខ្ញុំបានចូលមក ក្នុងផ្ទះលោកតែលោកពុំបានយកទឹកមកលាងជើងខ្ញុំទេ រីឯនាង នាងបានសំរក់ទឹកភ្នែកជោកជើងខ្ញុំ ព្រមទាំងយកសក់ នាងមកជូតទៀតផង។

⁴⁴Turning to the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head.

⁴⁵លោកមិនបានថើបខ្ញុំទេ រីឯនាងវិញ តាំងពីខ្ញុំចូលមក នាងចេះតែថើបជើងខ្ញុំ ឥតឈប់ឈរសោះឡើយ។

⁴⁵ You gave me no kiss, but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss my feet.

⁴⁶លោកមិនបានយកប្រេងមកលាបក្បាលខ្ញុំទេ រីឯនាងវិញ នាងបានចាក់ប្រេងក្រអូបលាបជើងខ្ញុំ។

⁴⁶ You didn’t anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.

⁴⁷ហេតុនេះហើយ ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយលោកដឹងថា នាងសំដែងសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់ជាខ្លាំងយ៉ាងនេះព្រោះព្រះជាម្ចាស់បានប្រោសអោយនាងរួចពីបាបជាច្រើន។ រីឯអ្នកដែលព្រះជាម្ចាស់លើកលែងទោសអោយតិចក៏សំដែងសេចក្ដីស្រឡាញ់តិចដែរ»។

⁴⁷ Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

⁴⁸ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅស្ដ្រីនោះថា៖ «ខ្ញុំអត់ទោសអោយនាងបានរួចពីបាបហើយ»។

⁴⁸He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

⁴⁹អស់អ្នកដែលអង្គុយរួមតុជាមួយរិះគិតក្នុងចិត្ដរៀងៗខ្លួនថា៖«តើលោកនេះមានឋានៈអ្វី បានជាហ៊ានអត់ទោសអោយមនុស្សរួចពីបាបដូច្នេះ?»។

⁴⁹Those who sat at the table with him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

⁵⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅនាងទៀតថា៖«ជំនឿរបស់នាងបានសង្គ្រោះនាងហើយសូមអញ្ជើញទៅវិញដោយសុខសាន្ដចុះ»។

⁵⁰He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”
