1Praise ye Jah! Praise ye the name of Jehovah, Praise, ye servants of Jehovah,
2kurie stovite Jo namuose, mūsų Dievo namų kiemuose.
2Who are standing in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.
3Girkite Jį, nes Viešpats geras; giedokite gyrių Jo vardui, nes Jis mielas.
3Praise ye Jah! for Jehovah [is] good, Sing praise to His name, for [it is] pleasant.
4Jokūbą išsirinko Viešpats, Izraelį, kad būtų Jo nuosavybė.
4For Jacob hath Jah chosen for Himself, Israel for His peculiar treasure.
5Aš žinau, kad didis yra Viešpats! Mūsų Viešpats yra aukščiau visų dievų.
5For I have known that great [is] Jehovah, Yea, our Lord [is] above all gods.
6Visa, ko panorėjo Viešpats, Jis padarė danguje, žemėje ir jūrų gelmėse.
6All that Jehovah pleased He hath done, In the heavens and in earth, In the seas and all deep places,
7Jis nuo žemės krašto atgena debesis, su žaibais siunčia lietų, paleidžia vėjus iš savo sandėlių.
7Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, Lightnings for the rain He hath made, Bringing forth wind from His treasures.
8Jis ištiko Egipte žmonių ir gyvulių pirmagimius,
8Who smote the first-born of Egypt, From man unto beast.
9siuntė ženklų ir stebuklų prieš faraoną ir jo tarnus.
9He sent tokens and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, On Pharaoh and on all his servants.
10Sunaikino daugybę pagonių tautų ir jų galingų karalių:
10Who smote many nations, and slew strong kings,
11Sihoną, amoritų karalių, ir Ogą, Bašano karalių, ir visas karalystes Kanaane.
11Even Sihon king of the Amorite, And Og king of Bashan, And all kingdoms of Canaan.
12Atidavė jų žemę Izraeliui, savo tautai, paveldėti.
12And He gave their land an inheritance, An inheritance to Israel His people,
13Viešpatie, Tavo vardas lieka per amžius. Atsiminimas apie Tave, Viešpatie, per kartų kartas.
13O Jehovah, Thy name [is] to the age, O Jehovah, Thy memorial to all generations.
14Viešpats teis savo tautą ir pasigailės savo tarnų.
14For Jehovah doth judge His people, And for His servants comforteth Himself.
15Pagonių stabai iš sidabro ir aukso, žmogaus rankomis padaryti.
15The idols of the nations [are] silver and gold, Work of the hands of man.
16Jie turi burnas, bet nekalba; turi akis, bet nemato;
16A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,
17turi ausis, tačiau negirdi; jų burna nealsuoja.
17Ears they have, and they give not ear, Nose — there is no breath in their mouth!
18Į juos panašūs yra tie, kas juos padaro, ir visi, kurie jais pasitiki.
18Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.
19Izraelio namai, laiminkite Viešpatį! Aarono namai, laiminkite Viešpatį!
19O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah, O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah,
20Levio namai, laiminkite Viešpatį! Visi, kurie Viešpaties bijote, laiminkite Viešpatį!
20O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah, Those fearing Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.
21Palaimintas Viešpats iš Siono, kuris gyvena Jeruzalėje. Girkite Viešpatį!
21Blessed [is] Jehovah from Zion, Inhabiting Jerusalem — praise ye Jah!
