¹Aoka hataon'ny olona ho mpanompon'i Kristy sy mpitandrina'ny zava-miafina izay an'Andriamanitra izahay.

¹Let a man so reckon us as officers of Christ, and stewards of the secrets of God,

²Ary raha izany, dia fantatrareo fa ny mpitandrina dia tokony ho olona mahatoky. [ Gr: mpitandrina fananana]

²and as to the rest, it is required in the stewards that one may be found faithful,

³Fa raha ny amiko, dia ataoko ho zavatra kely foana, na hotsarainareo aho, na hotsarain'olona fa ny tenako aza tsy mitsara ahy. [ Gr. andron'olona]

³and to me it is for a very little thing that by you I may be judged, or by man`s day, but not even myself do I judge,

⁴Fa tsy hitako izay tsiniko, nefa tsy mahamarina ahy izany; fa ny Tompo no Mpitsara ahy:

⁴for of nothing to myself have I been conscious, but not in this have I been declared right — and he who is discerning me is the Lord:

⁵koa amin'izany aza mitsara na inona na inona alohan'ny fotoana, dia ny fihavian'ny Tompo, Izay hampiharihary ny zavatra takona ao amin'ny maizina ka hampiseho ny fikasan'ny fo; dia samy hahazo izay derany avy amin'Andriamanitra izy rehetra.

⁵so, then, nothing before the time judge ye, till the Lord may come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of the darkness, and will manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then the praise shall come to each from God.

⁶[Anatra noho ny fiavonavonan'ny Korintiana] Ary izany zavatra izany, ry rahalahy, nataoko oha-teny hilaza ahy sy Apolosy noho ny aminareo, mba hianaranareo aminay ny tsy hihoatra noho ny voasoratra, mba tsy hisy hireharehanareo hankalaza ny anankiray, fa hanevateva ny anankiray kosa.

⁶And these things, brethren, I did transfer to myself and to Apollos because of you, that in us ye may learn not to think above that which hath been written, that ye may not be puffed up one for one against the other,

⁷Fa iza no mampihoatra anao? Ary inona no anananao, izay tsy noraisinao? Fa raha nandray ihany ianao, nahoana no mirehareha hoatra ny tsy nandray?

⁷for who doth make thee to differ? and what hast thou, that thou didst not receive? and if thou didst also receive, why dost thou glory as not having received?

⁸Efa afa-po sahady ianareo, efa manan-karena sahady ianareo, efa manjaka ianareo; kanefa hay! tsy izahay tsy akory no nahazoanareo izany! Enga anie ka manjaka tokoa ianareo, hiarahanay sy ianareo manjaka.

⁸Already ye are having been filled, already ye were rich, apart from us ye did reign, and I would also ye did reign, that we also with you may reign together,

⁹Fa ataoko fa nasehon'Andriamanitra ho faraidina izahay Apostoly, dia toy izay voaheloka hovonoina; fa izahay dia natao ho fizàhan'izao rehetra izao, na anjely na olona.

⁹for I think that God did set forth us the apostles last — as appointed to death, because a spectacle we became to the world, and messengers, and men;

¹⁰Izahay dia adala noho ny amin'i Kristy, fa ianareo no hendry ao amin'i Kristy! izahay malemy, fa ianareo no mahery! ianareo manandaza, fa izahay mavomavo!

¹⁰we [are] fools because of Christ, and ye wise in Christ; we [are] ailing, and ye strong; ye glorious, and we dishonoured;

¹¹Mandraka ankehitriny izao dia noana sy mangetaheta sy tsy manan-kitafy sy asiana totohondry ary tsy manana antom-ponenana izahay;

¹¹unto the present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and wander about,

¹²Ary misasatra miasa amin'ny tananay izahay; raha tevatevaina izahay, dia misaotra; raha enjehina, dia miaritra;

¹²and labour, working with [our] own hands; being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer;

¹³raha tenenina mafy, dia mamaly teny moramora kosa; atao toy ny faditr'izao tontolo izao izahay, dia faikan'ny olona rehetra, mandraka ankehitriny.

¹³being spoken evil of, we entreat; as filth of the world we did become — of all things an offscouring — till now.

¹⁴Tsy ny hahamenatra anareo anefa no anoratako izany zavatra izany, fa mananatra anareo toy ny zanako malalako aho.

¹⁴Not [as] putting you to shame do I write these things, but as my beloved children I do admonish,

¹⁵Fa na dia manana mpampianatra iray alina ao amin'i Kristy aza ianareo, dia tsy maro ray ianareo; fa izaho no niteraka anareo ao amin'i Kristy Jesosy tamin'ny filazantsara.

¹⁵for if a myriad of child-conductors ye may have in Christ, yet not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus, through the good news, I — I did beget you;

¹⁶Koa mananatra anareo aho: manahafa ahy ianareo.

¹⁶I call upon you, therefore, become ye followers of me;

¹⁷Ary noho izany dia nirahiko ho any aminareo Timoty, zanako malalako sy mahatoky ao amin'ny Tompo, ka izy no hampahatsiaro anareo ny fanaoko ao amin'i Kristy, tahaka ny ampianariko ao amin'ny fiangonana rehetra eny tontolo eny. [ Gr. lalako]

¹⁷because of this I sent to you Timotheus, who is my child, beloved and faithful in the Lord, who shall remind you of my ways in Christ, according as everywhere in every assembly I teach.

¹⁸Fa ny sasany mirehareha hoatra ilay tsy mikasa ho avy any aminareo iny aho.

¹⁸And as if I were not coming unto you certain were puffed up;

¹⁹Fa ho avy any aminareo faingana aho, raha sitrapon'ny Tompo, dia ho fantatro izay herin'ireo mpirehareha ireo, fa tsy ny fiteniny.

¹⁹but I will come quickly unto you, if the Lord may will, and I will know not the word of those puffed up, but the power;

²⁰Fa ny fanjakan'Andriamanitra tsy amin'ny teny, fa amin'ny hery.Inona ary no tianareo? Ho avy aminareo mitondra tsorakazo va aho, sa amin'ny fitiavana sy ny fahalemem-panahy?

²⁰for not in word is the reign of God, but in power?

²¹Inona ary no tianareo? Ho avy aminareo mitondra tsorakazo va aho, sa amin'ny fitiavana sy ny fahalemem-panahy?

²¹what do ye wish? with a rod shall I come unto you, or in love, with a spirit also of meekness?
