1Dare any one of you, having a matter with the other, go to be judged before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
2Sa tsy fantatrareo fa ny olona masina dia hitsara izao tontolo izao? Ary raha hitsara izao tontolo izao ianareo, moa tsy miendrika hitsara izay zavatra madinika indrindra va ianareo?
2have ye not known that the saints shall judge the world? and if by you the world is judged, are ye unworthy of the smaller judgments?
3Tsy fantatrareo va fa hitsara anjely isika? mainka fa izay zavatra momba izao fiainana izao.
3have ye not known that we shall judge messengers? why not then the things of life?
4Koa raha misy hotsarainareo ny amin'ny momba izao fiainana izao, moa izay ataon'ny fiangonana ho tsinontsinona va no tendrenareo ho mpitsara?
4of the things of life, indeed, then, if ye may have judgment, those despised in the assembly — these cause ye to sit;
5Hampahamenatra anareo no itenenako izany. Hay! dia tsy misy olon-kendry aminareo, na dia iray akory aza, izay mahay manamboatra ny adin'ny rahalahiny?
5unto your shame I speak: so there is not among you one wise man, not even one, who shall be able to discern in the midst of his brethren!
6Fa ny rahalahy mandeha hiady amin'ny rahalahiny, na dia hotsarain'ny tsy mino aza.
6but brother with brother doth go to be judged, and this before unbelievers!
7Ary ankehitriny dia kilema aminareo ny anananareo ady amin'ny namanareo. Nahoana no tsy aleo mandefitra ny tsy rariny aza ianareo? Nahoana no tsy aleo maharitra hambakaina aza ianareo? [ Na: matiantoka mihitsy ny fanahinareo, raha manana]
7Already, indeed, then, there is altogether a fault among you, that ye have judgments with one another; wherefore do ye not rather suffer injustice? wherefore be ye not rather defrauded?
8Kanjo ianareo indray no manao izay tsy marina ka manambaka na dia ny rahalahinareo aza.
8but ye — ye do injustice, and ye defraud, and these — brethren!
9Moa tsy fantatrareo va fa ny olona tsy marina tsy mba handova ny fanjakan'Andriamanitra? Aza mety hofitahina ianareo: fa ny mpijangajanga sy ny mpanompo sampy sy ny mpaka vadin'olona sy ny sodomita [ Izahao Lev.18.22]
9have ye not known that the unrighteous the reign of God shall not inherit? be not led astray; neither whoremongers, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,
10sy ny mpangalatra sy ny mpierina sy ny mpimamo sy ny mpanaratsy ary ny mpanao an-keriny dia tsy mba handova ny fanjakan'Andriamanitra.
10nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, the reign of God shall inherit.
11Ary efa mba toy izany ihany ny sasany aminareo, saingy efa voasasa ianareo, efa nohamasinina ianareo, efa nohamarinina ianareo, tamin'ny anaran'i Jesosy Kristy Tompo sy tamin'ny Fanahin'Andriamanitsika. [ Gr. efa nanasa tena]
11And certain of you were these! but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were declared righteous, in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.
12[Ny amin'ny fijangajangana tsy azo atao ho isan'ny zavatra tsy mampaninona, tahaka ny hanina samy hafa] Ny zavatra rehetra azoko atao, nefa tsy dia ary mahasoa avokoa ny zavatra rehetra; ny zavatra rehetra azoko atao, nefa izaho tsy mety handevozin-javatra na inona na inona.
12All things are lawful to me, but all things are not profitable; all things are lawful to me, but I — I will not be under authority by any;
13Ny hanina dia ho an'ny kibo, ary ny kibo ho an'ny hanina; nefa samy holevonin'Andriamanitra izy roroa. Fa ny tena kosa dia tsy ho an'ny fijangajangana, fa ho an'ny Tompo; ary ny Tompo ho an'ny tena.
13the meats [are] for the belly, and the belly for the meats. And God both this and these shall make useless; and the body [is] not for whoredom, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body;
14Ary Andriamanitra efa nanangana ny Tompo sady hanangana antsika koa amin'ny heriny.
14and God both the Lord did raise, and us will raise up through His power.
15Tsy fantatrareo va fa momba ny tena'i Kristy ny tenanareo? Moa hanala ny momba ny tenan'i Kristy va aho ka hanolotra izany ho momba ny tenan'ny vehivavy janga? Sanatria izany!
15Have ye not known that your bodies are members of Christ? having taken, then, the members of the Christ, shall I make [them] members of an harlot? let it be not!
16Moa tsy fantatrareo va fa izay miray amin'ny vehivavy janga dia tena iray aminy? fa hoy Andriamanitra: Ho nofo iray ihany izy roroa (Gen. 2. 24).
16have ye not known that he who is joined to the harlot is one body? `for they shall be — saith He — the two for one flesh.`
17Fa izay miray amin'ny Tompo kosa dia fanahy iray aminy.
17And he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit;
18Mandosira ny fijangajangana. Izay fahotana rehetra ataon'ny olona dia eny ivelan'ny tena ihany; fa ny mpijangajanga kosa dia manota mihatra amin'ny tenany.
18flee the whoredom; every sin — whatever a man may commit — is without the body, and he who is committing whoredom, against his own body doth sin.
19Ahoana ary? Moa tsy fantatrareo fa ny tenanareo dia tempolin'ny Fanahy Masina, Izay ao anatinareo sady efa azonareo tamin'Andriamanitra? ka tsy tompon'ny tenanareo ianareo.Fa olom-boavidy ianareo, koa dia mankalazà an'Andriamanitra amin'ny tenanareo.
19Have ye not known that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own,
20Fa olom-boavidy ianareo, koa dia mankalazà an'Andriamanitra amin'ny tenanareo.
20for ye were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God`s.
