¹[Ny nanaovana ny tempoly] Ary tamin'ny taona fahavalo-polo amby efa-jato taorian'ny nialan'ny Zanak'Isiraely tamin'ny tany Egypta tamin'ny volana Ziva (volana faharoa izany), tamin'ny taona fahefatra nanjakan'i Solomona tamin'ny Isiraely, dia nanorina ny tranon'i Jehovah izy.

¹And it cometh to pass, in the four hundred and eightieth year of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fourth year — in the month of Zif, it [is] the second month — of the reigning of Solomon over Israel, that he buildeth the house for Jehovah.

²Ary ny trano nataon'i Solomona mpanjaka ho an'i Jehovah dia enim-polo hakiho ny lavany, ary roa-polo hakiho ny sakany, ary telo-polo hakiho ny hahavony.

²As to the house that king Solomon hath built for Jehovah, sixty cubits [is] its length, and twenty its breadth, and thirty cubits its height.

³As to the porch on the front of the temple of the house, twenty cubits [is] its length on the front of the breadth of the house; ten by the cubit [is] its breadth on the front of the house;

⁴Ary ny varavarankelin'ny trano nataony makarakara tsy mivoha.

⁴and he maketh for the house windows of narrow lights.

⁵Ary tamin'ny lafin-trano dia nasiany paosin-trano mifanongoa manodidina, na amin'ny ati-trano lehibe, na amin'ny efitra atiny, sady nasiany efi-trano manodidina;

⁵And he buildeth against the wall of the house a couch round about, [even] the walls of the house round about, of the temple and of the oracle, and maketh sides round about.

⁶ny efi-trano ambany indrindra, dimy hakiho ny sakany, ary ny an-tenatenany, enina hakiho ny sakany, ary ny fahatelony, dia fito hakiho sakany; fa ny rindrina ivelan'ny trano dia ahenany manodidina isaky ny mifanongoa, mba tsy hisy hitsatoka amin'ny rindrina.

⁶The lowest couch, five by the cubit [is] its breadth; and the middle, six by the cubit [is] its breadth; and the third, seven by the cubit [is] its breadth, for withdrawings he hath put to the house round about, without — not to lay hold on the walls of the house.

⁷Ary tamin'ny nanaovana ny trano dia vato voapaika rahateo hatrany amin'ny fihadiam-bato no nanaovany azy: ka dia tsy nisy feon'ny tantanana, na fandraka, na vy fiasana, re tao an-trano tamin'ny nanaovany azy.

⁷And the house, in its being built, of perfect stone brought [thither] hath been built, and hammer, and the axe — any instrument of iron — was not heard in the house, in its being built.

⁸Ny varavarana mankao amin'ny efi-trano an-tenatenany dia teo amin'ny ilany ankavanan'ny trano; ary tohatra miolikolika no niakarany ho ao amin'ny efi-trano an-tenatenany, ary avy tao amin'ny an-tenatenany indray no niakarany ho ao amin'ny fahatelony.

⁸The opening of the middle side [is] at the right shoulder of the house, and with windings they go up on the middle one, and from the middle one unto the third.

⁹Toy izany no nanaovany ny trano sy nahavitany azy; ary rairainy nopetahany hazo fisaka sedera no nataony tafon'ny trano.

⁹And he buildeth the house, and completeth it, and covereth the house [with] beams and rows of cedars.

¹⁰Ary ny paosin-trano nataony manodidina ny trano, dimy hakiho avy ny hahavony, ary hazo sedera no nikambanany tamin'ny trano.

¹⁰And he buildeth the couch against all the house, five cubits [is] its height, and it taketh hold of the house by cedar-wood.

¹¹Ary ny tenin'i Jehovah tonga tamin'i Solomona nanao hoe:

¹¹And the word of Jehovah is unto Solomon, saying,

¹²Ny amin'ity trano ataonao, ity raha handeha araka ny lalako ianao sy hanaraka ny fitsipiko ary hitandrina ny didiko rehetra ka hanaraka azy, dia hotanterahiko aminao ny teniko, izay nolazaiko tamin'i Davida rainao;

¹²`This house that thou art building — if thou dost walk in My statutes, and My judgments dost do, yea, hast done all My commands, to walk in them, then I have established My word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father,

¹³ary hitoetra ao amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely Aho ka tsy hahafoy ny Isiraely oloko.

¹³and have tabernacled in the midst of the sons of Israel, and do not forsake My people Israel.`

¹⁴Ary nataon'i Solomona ny trano, ka dia vitany.

¹⁴And Solomon buildeth the house and completeth it;

¹⁵Ary ny rindrina anatiny nopetahany hazo sedera; hatramin'ny vodi-rindrina ka hatramin'ny loha-rindrina dia nopetahany hazo avokoa ary hazo kypreso no nataony gorodon'ny trano.

¹⁵and he buildeth the walls of the house within with beams of cedar, from the floor of the house unto the walls of the ceiling; he hath overlaid with wood the inside, and covereth the floor of the house with ribs of fir.

¹⁶Ary ny roa-polo hakiho hatreo amin'ny rindrina farany dia nasiany efitra hazo sedera hatramin'ny vodirindrina ka hatramin'ny loha-rindrina, ary nataony ho efitra anatiny izany, dia ny fitoerana masina indrindra.

¹⁶And he buildeth the twenty cubits on the sides of the house with ribs of cedar, from the floor unto the walls; and he buildeth for it within, for the oracle, for the holy of holies.

¹⁷Ary ny lavan'ny ati-trano lehibe teo anoloan'io dia efa-polo hakiho.

¹⁷And forty by the cubit was the house, it [is] the temple before [it].

¹⁸Ary ny sedera amin'ny ati-trano dia nosoratany nasiany sarin'ny voantango sy voninkazo mivelatra; sedera avokoa izy, ka tsy nisy vato niseho.

¹⁸And the cedar for the house within [is] carvings of knobs and openings of flowers; the whole [is] cedar, there is not a stone seen.

¹⁹Nanisy efitra anatiny tao anatin'ny trano izy hametrahany ny fiaran'ny faneken'i Jehovah.

¹⁹And the oracle in the midst of the house within he hath prepared, to put there the ark of the covenant of Jehovah.

²⁰Ary teo anoloan'ny efitra anatiny roa-polo hakiho ny lavany, ary roa-polo hakiho ny sakany, roa-polo hakiho koa ny hahavony, sady voapetaka takela-bolamena tsara izy dia nopetahany hazo sedera ny alitara.

²⁰And before the oracle [is] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits [is] its height; and he overlayeth it with gold refined, and overlayeth the altar with cedar.

²¹Ary nopetahan'i Solomona takela-bolamena tsara indrindra ny atin'ny trano; sady nasiany vakoka volamena hisakana eo anoloan'ny efitra anatiny; ary nopetahany takela-bolamena koa ny alitara.

²¹And Solomon overlayeth the house within with gold refined, and causeth [it] to pass over in chains of gold before the oracle, and overlayeth it with gold.

²²Izao ati-trano rehetra izao dia nopetahany takela-bolamena avokoa; ary ny alitara momba ny efitra anatiny koa dia nopetahany takela-bolamena avokoa.

²²And the whole of the house he hath overlaid with gold, till the completion of all the house; and the whole of the altar that the oracle hath, he hath overlaid with gold.

²³Ary tao anatin'ny efitra anatiny dia nasiany kerobima hazo oliva roa. samy folo hakiho avy no hahavony.

²³And he maketh within the oracle two cherubs, of the oil-tree, ten cubits [is] their height;

²⁴Ary samy dimy hakiho avy ny elatry ny kerobima iray, dia folo hakiho hatramin'ny tendron'elany anankiray ka hatramin'ny tendron'elany anankiray.

²⁴and five cubits [is] the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the second wing of the cherub, ten cubits from the ends of its wings even unto the ends of its wings;

²⁵Ary ny kerobima iray koa folo hakiho; fa ny kerobima roa mitovy halehibe sy mitovy tarehy:

²⁵and ten by the cubit [is] the second cherub, one measure and one form [are] to the two cherubs,

²⁶the height of the one cherub [is] ten by the cubit, and so [is] the second cherub;

²⁷Ary ny kerobima nataony tao afovoan'ny trano anatiny; ary ny elany nataony mivelatra, ka ny ilany samy nipaka tamin'ny rindrina avy, ary ny ilany nifanendry teo afovoan'ny trano.

²⁷and he setteth the cherubs in the midst of the inner house, and they spread out the wings of the cherubs, and a wing of the one cometh against the wall, and a wing of the second cherub is coming against the second wall, and their wings [are] unto the midst of the house, coming wing against wing;

²⁸Ary nopetahany takela-bolamena ny kerobima.

²⁸and he overlayeth the cherubs with gold,

²⁹Ary ny rindrina manodidina nosoratany nasiany sarin'ny kerobima sy hazo rofia ary voninkazo mivelatra, na ny efitra anatiny, na ny ati-trano lehibe.[palma]

²⁹and all the walls of the house round about he hath carved with openings of carvings, cherubs, and palm trees, and openings of flowers, within and without.

³⁰Ary nopetahany takela-bolamena ny gorodona, na ny teo amin'ny efi-trano anatiny, na ny teo amin'ny ati-trano lehibe.

³⁰And the floor of the house he hath overlaid with gold, within and without;

³¹Ary ny varavarana mankao amin'ny efitra anatiny dia nasiany lela-varavarana hazo oliva kopa-droa, ary ny tolany sy ny momba azy dia ampahadimin'ny sakan-trano.[palma]

³¹as to the opening of the oracle, he made doors of the oil-tree; the lintel, side-posts, a fifth.

³²Ny lela-varavarana hazo oliva kopa-droa dia nosoratany nasiany sarin'ny kerobima sy hazo rofia ary voninkazo mivelatra, ary, nopetahany volamena manify ny kerobima: sy ny hazo rofia.[palma]

³²And the two doors [are] of the oil-tree, and he hath carved upon them carvings of cherubs, and palm-trees, and openings of flowers, and overlaid with gold, and he causeth the gold to go down on the cherubs and on the palm-trees.

³³Dia toy izany koa ny varavarana mankao amin'ny ati-trano lehibe, dia nasiany tolam-baravarana hazo oliva mahafeno ny ampahefatry ny sahan-trano.

³³And so he hath made for the opening of the temple, side-posts of the oil-tree, from the fourth.

³⁴Ary ny lela-varavarana hazo kypreso kopa-droa dia kamban-droa samy nisy savily avy.

³⁴And the two doors [are] of fir-tree, the two sides of the one door are revolving, and the two hangings of the second door are revolving.

³⁵Ary nosoratany nasiany sarin'ny kerobima sy ny hazo rofia ary voninkazo mivelatra ireo, dia nopetahany volamena manify ny sorany.

³⁵And he hath carved cherubs, and palms, and openings of flowers, and overlaid with straightened gold the graved work.

³⁶Ary nanao ny kianja tao anatiny tamin'ny vato voapaika telo andalana sy hazo sedera iray andalana izy.

³⁶And he buildeth the inner court, three rows of hewn work, and a row of beams of cedar.

³⁷Tamin'ny volana Ziva tamin'ny taona fahefatra, no; nanaovany ny fanorenan'ny tranon'i Jehovah.Ary tamin'ny volana Bola (volana fahavalo izany), tamin'ny taona fahiraika ambin'ny folo, no nahavitany ny trano araka ny fombany rehetra sy izay rehetra nahamety azy. Dia fito taona no nanaovany azy.

³⁷In the fourth year hath the house of Jehovah been founded, in the month Zif,

³⁸Ary tamin'ny volana Bola (volana fahavalo izany), tamin'ny taona fahiraika ambin'ny folo, no nahavitany ny trano araka ny fombany rehetra sy izay rehetra nahamety azy. Dia fito taona no nanaovany azy.

³⁸and in the eleventh year, in the month Bul — [that is] the eighth month — hath the house been finished in all its matters, and in all its ordinances, and he buildeth it seven years.
