1And David speaketh to Jehovah the words of this song in the day Jehovah hath delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul,
2ka hoy izy: Jehovah no harambatoko sy batery fiarovana ho ahy ary Mpamonjy ahy,
2and he saith: `Jehovah [is] my rock, And my bulwark, and a deliverer to me,

3My God [is] my rock — I take refuge in Him; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, My high tower, and my refuge! My Saviour, from violence Thou savest me!
4Miantso an'i Jehovah Izay mendrika hoderaina aho, Ka dia vonjena ho afaka amin'ny fahavaloko.
4The Praised One, I call Jehovah: And from mine enemies I am saved.
5Fa nihodidina tamiko ny onjan'ny fahafatesana. Ary ny riaky ny faharatsiana nampahatahotra ahy.
5When the breakers of death compassed me, The streams of the worthless terrify me,
6Ny famatoran'ny fiainan-tsi-hita nihodidina tamiko, nisakana ahy ny fandriky ny fahafatesana.[Heb. Sheola]
6The cords of Sheol have surrounded me, Before me have been the snares of death.
7Fony azom-pahoriana aho, dia niantso an'i Jehovah, eny, Andriamanitro no nitarainako; nihaino ny feoko tao an-tempoliny Izy, ary ny fitarainako dia efa tonga eo an-tsofiny.
7In mine adversity I call Jehovah, And unto my God I call, And He heareth from His temple my voice, And my cry [is] in His ears,
8Dia nihozongozona sy nihorohoro ny tany, ary ny fiorenan'ny lanitra nihorohoro, eny, nihozongozona ireo, satria tezitra Jehovah.
8And shake and tremble doth the earth, Foundations of the heavens are troubled, And are shaken, for He hath wrath!
9Nisy setroka nisavoana teo am-bavorony, ary afo avy teo am-bavany no nandevona ka nisy vainafo nidedadeda teo aminy.
9Gone up hath smoke by His nostrils. And fire from His mouth devoureth, Brands have been kindled by it.
10Dia naondriny ny lanitra, ka nidina Izy; Ary aizim-pito no teo ambanin'ny tongony.
10And He inclineth heaven, and cometh down, And thick darkness [is] under His feet.
11Dia nitaingina kerobima Izy ka nanidina, eny, niseho teo amin'ny ela-drivotra Izy.
11And He rideth on a cherub, and doth fly, And is seen on the wings of the wind.
12Efa nanao ny maizina ho tranony manodidina Azy Izy, dia fivorian-drano sy rahona matevina
12And He setteth darkness Round about Him — tabernacles, Darkness of waters — thick clouds of the skies.

13From the brightness before Him Were brands of fire kindled!
14Dia nampikotroka tany an-danitra Jehovah, ny Avo Indrindra niloa-peo.
14Thunder from the heavens doth Jehovah, And the Most High giveth forth His voice.
15Dia nandefa zana-tsipìka Izy ka nampiely ny fahavaloko, ary nampandeha helatra ka nampifanaritaka azy.
15And He sendeth forth arrows, And scattereth them; Lightning, and troubleth them;
16Dia hita ny fitoeran-dranomasina, ary niseho ny fanambanin'ny tany, noho ny teny mafy nataon'i Jehovah, noho ny fifofofofon'ny fofonain'ny vavorony.
16And seen are the streams of the sea, Revealed are foundations of the world, By the rebuke of Jehovah, From the breath of the spirit of His anger.
17Naninjitra ny tànany avy tany ambony Izy ka nandray ahy; nanintona ahy niala tamin'ny rano be Izy.
17He sendeth from above — He taketh me, He draweth me out of many waters.
18Namonjy ahy tamin'ny fahavaloko mahery Izy sy tamin'izay nankahala ahy, satria tsy leoko ireny.
18He delivereth me from my strong enemy, From those hating me, For they were stronger than I.
19Nisakana ahy tamin'ny andro nahitako loza ireny, nefa Jehovah no niseho ho Mpanohana ahy.
19They are before me in a day of my calamity, And Jehovah is my support,
20Dia nitondra ahy ho any amin'ny malalaka Izy; namonjy ahy Izy, satria tiany aho.
20And He bringeth me out to a large place, He draweth me out for He delighted in me.
21Nanisy soa ahy araka ny fahamarinako Jehovah; Araka ny fahadiovan'ny tanako no namaliany ahy.
21Jehovah recompenseth me, According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, He doth return to me.
22Fa nitandrina ny lalan'i Jehovah aho ka tsy mba nanao ratsy hialana tamin'Andriamanitro;
22For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not done wickedly against my God.
23Ny fitsipiny rehetra dia teo anatrehako, ary ny lalàny tsy mba nialako;
23For all His judgments [are] before me, As to His statutes, I turn not from them.
24Tsy nanan-tsiny taminy aho sady niaro tena tsy ho azon'ny fahotako;
24And I am perfect before Him, And I keep myself from mine iniquity.
25Koa namaly ahy araka ny fahamarinako Jehovah, dia araka ny fahadiovako teo imasony.
25And Jehovah returneth to me, According to my righteousness, According to my cleanness before His eyes.
26Ny olona tsara no isehoanao fa tsara; Ny tena olo-marina no isehoanao fa marina;
26With the kind Thou shewest Thyself kind, With the perfect man Thou shewest Thyself perfect,
27Ny madio no isehoanao fa madio; Ary ny mpiolakolaka kosa no isehoanao fa lalin-tsaina.[Heb. miolakolaka]
27With the pure Thou shewest Thyself pure, And with the perverse Thou shewest Thyself a wrestler.
28Fa ny olona ory dia vonjenao; Fa ny masonao manandrina ny mpiavonavona, ka aetrinao ireny.
28And the poor people Thou dost save, And Thine eyes on the high causest to fall.
29Fa Hianao no jiroko, Jehovah ô; Jehovah mampahazava ny fahamaizinako.
29For Thou [art] my lamp, O Jehovah, And Jehovah doth lighten my darkness.
30Fa Hianao no ahazoako mitsarapaka hamely ny miaramila iray toko; Ary Andriamanitro no ahazoako mitsambikina mihoatra ny manda.
30For by Thee I run — a troop, By my God I leap a wall.
31Raha ny amin'Andriamanitra, dia marina ny lalany; Ny tenin'i Jehovah dia voazaha toetra amin'ny memy; Jehovah no ampingan'izay rehetra mialoka aminy.
31God! Perfect [is] His way, The saying of Jehovah is tried, A shield He [is] to all those trusting in Him.
32Fa iza no Andriamanitra afa-tsy Jehovah? Ary iza no vatolampy afa-tsy Andriamanitsika?
32For who is God save Jehovah? And who a Rock save our God?
33Izany Andriamanitra izany no fiarovana mafy ho ahy; Mitondra ny marina amin'ny lalany Izy.
33God — my bulwark, [my] strength, And He maketh perfect my way;
34Ary manao ny tongony ho tahaka ny an'ny dieravavy Izy; Mampitoetra ahy eo amin'ny fitoerako avo Izy.
34Making my feet like hinds, And on my high places causeth me to stand,
35Mampianatra ny tanako hiady Izy, ka mahahenjana tsipìka varahina ny sandriko.
35Teaching my hands for battle, And brought down was a bow of brass by mine arms,
36Omenao ahy ny ampingan'ny famonjenao; Ary ny fahamoram-panahinao no mahalehibe ahy.
36And Thou givest to me the shield of Thy salvation, And Thy lowliness maketh me great.
37Halalahinao ny lalana hodiaviko, ka tsy mangovitra ny hato-tongotro.
37Thou enlargest my step under me, And mine ankles have not slidden.
38Manenjika ny fahavaloko aho ka mandripaka azy; Ary tsy mba miverina aho mandra-pahalany ritrany.
38I pursue mine enemies and destroy them, And I turn not till they are consumed.
39Mandringana sy mandripaka azy aho, ka tsy maharina izy; Lavo eo ambanin'ny tongotro izy.
39And I consume them, and smite them, And they rise not, and fall under my feet.
40Hianao mampisikina ahy hery hiady; Aripakao ho ambaniko izay mitsangana hamely ahy.
40And Thou girdest me [with] strength for battle, Thou causest my withstanders to bow under me.
41Ary ataonao miamboho ahy ny fahavaloko; Ka aringako izay mankahala ahy.
41And mine enemies — Thou givest to me the neck, Those hating me — and I cut them off.
42Miherikerika izy, fa tsy misy mpamonjy, eny, maniry an'i Jehovah izy, fa tsy mamaly azy Izy.
42They look, and there is no saviour; Unto Jehovah, and He hath not answered them.
43Torotoroiko madinika tahaka ny vovo-tany izy; Hoseko tahaka ny fotaka eny an-dalana izy ka apariako.
43And I beat them as dust of the earth, As mire of the streets I beat them small — I spread them out!
44Mamonjy ahy amin'ny fifanoheran'ny oloko Hianao sy miaro ahy ho lohan'ny firenen-tsamy hafa; ny firenena tsy fantatro aza dia manompo ahy.
44And — Thou dost deliver me From the strivings of my people, Thou placest me for a head of nations; A people I have not known do serve me.
45Ny hafa firenena mikoy ahy; Raha vao mahare ny lazako fotsiny ihany aza izy, dia manoa ahy.
45Sons of a stranger feign obedience to me, At the hearing of the ear they hearken to me.

46Sons of a stranger fade away, And gird themselves by their close places.
47Velona Jehovah; isaorana anie ny Vatolampiko; Asandratra anie Andriamanitry ny vatolampy famonjena ahy,
47Jehovah liveth, and blessed [is] my Rock, And exalted is my God — The Rock of my salvation.
48Dia Andriamanitra, Izay manao famaliana ho ahy ka mampanaiky ny firenena ahy,
48God — who is giving vengeance to me, And bringing down peoples under me,
49Dia Ilay mitondra ahy ho afaka amin'ny fahavaloko; eny, manandratra ahy ho ambonin'izay mitsangana hanohitra ahy Hianao ary mamonjy ahy amin'ny olon-dozabe;
49And bringing me forth from mine enemies, Yea, above my withstanders Thou raisest me up. From a man of violence Thou deliverest me.
50Koa Izany no hiderako Anao eny amin'ny firenen-tsamy hafa, Jehovah ô, sy hankalazako ny anaranao.Manao famonjen-dehibe ho an'ny mpanjaka voatendriny Izy ary mamindra fo amin'ny voahosony, dia amin'i Davida sy ny taranany mandrakizay.
50Therefore I confess Thee, O Jehovah, among nations. And to Thy name I sing praise.
51Manao famonjen-dehibe ho an'ny mpanjaka voatendriny Izy ary mamindra fo amin'ny voahosony, dia amin'i Davida sy ny taranany mandrakizay.
51Magnifying the salvations of His king, And doing loving-kindness to His anointed, To David, and to his seed — unto the age!`
