¹[Ny amin'ny taom-panafahana] Ary isam-pito taona dia manaova fanafahana ianao.

¹`At the end of seven years thou dost make a release,

²Ary izao no ho fomban'ny fanafahana: Ny tompon-trosa rehetra izay nampanàna vola tamin'ny namany dia hamoy izany; tsy hanery ny namany izay rahalahiny handoa izy, satria efa voantso ny fanafahan'i Jehovah.

²and this [is] the matter of the release: Every owner of a loan [is] to release his hand which he doth lift up against his neighbour, he doth not exact of his neighbour and of his brother, but hath proclaimed a release to Jehovah;

³Ny olona hafa firenena ihany no azonao terena handoa; fa izay anao amin'ny rahalahinao kosa dia hafoinao;

³of the stranger thou mayest exact, and that which is thine with thy brother doth thy hand release;

⁴kanefa tsy dia hisy olo-malahelo eo aminao, fa hitahy anao tokoa Jehovah eo amin'ny tany izay omen'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ho lovanao,

⁴only when there is no needy one with thee, for Jehovah doth greatly bless thee in the land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee — an inheritance to possess it.

⁵raha mihaino tsara ny feon'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao ka mitandrina hanaraka izao lalàna rehetra izao, izay andidiako anao anio.

⁵`Only, if thou dost diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all this command which I am commanding thee to-day,

⁶Fa Jehovah Andriamanitrao hitahy anao araka izay nolazainy taminao; ary hampisambotra ny firenena maro ianao, fa ianao kosa tsy hisambotra; ary hanapaka firenena maro ianao, fa izy kosa tsy mba hanapaka anao.

⁶for Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee as He hath spoken to thee; and thou hast lent [to] many nations, and thou hast not borrowed; and thou hast ruled over many nations, and over thee they do not rule.

⁷Raha misy malahelo ny rahalahinao ao an-tanànanao anankiray amin'ny taninao izay omen'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao, dia aza manamafy ny fonao, na manakombona ny tananao, amin'ny rahalahinao malahelo;

⁷`When there is with thee any needy one of one of thy brethren, in one of thy cities, in thy land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee, thou dost not harden thy heart, nor shut thy hand from thy needy brother;

⁸fa sokafy tsara aminy ny tananao, ka ampisambory izay ilainy, araka izay mahory azy.

⁸for thou dost certainly open thy hand to him, and dost certainly lend him sufficient for his lack which he lacketh.

⁹Mitandrema fandrao hisy hevi-dratsy ao am-ponao manao hoe: Antomotra ny taona fahafito, dia ny taom-panafahana; ary ho ratsy fijery ny rahalahinao malahelo ianao, ka tsy hanome azy akory ianao; ary hitaraina amin'i Jehovah hiampanga anao Izy, ka dia ho fahotanao izany.

⁹`Take heed to thee lest there be a word in thy heart — worthless, saying, Near [is] the seventh year, the year of release; and thine eye is evil against thy needy brother, and thou dost not give to him, and he hath called concerning thee unto Jehovah, and it hath been in thee sin;

¹⁰Omeo tokoa izy, ary aoka tsy halahelo ny fonao raha manome azy, satria izany zavatra izany no hitahian'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao amin'ny asanao rehetra sy amin'izay rehetra ataon'ny tananao.

¹⁰thou dost certainly give to him, and thy heart is not sad in thy giving to him, for because of this thing doth Jehovah thy God bless thee in all thy works, and in every putting forth of thy hand;

¹¹Fa ny tany tsy ilaozan'olo-malahelo, koa izany no andidiako anao hoe: Sokafy tsara amin'ny rahalahinao ny tananao, dia amin'ny malahelo sy ny mahantra eo amin'ny taninao.

¹¹because the needy one doth not cease out of the land, therefore I am commanding thee, saying, Thou dost certainly open thy hand to thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy one, in thy land.

¹²Raha hamidy aminao ny namanao, na lehilahy Hebreo, na vehivavy Hebreo, ka efa nanompo anao enin-taona, dia hovotsoranao ho afaka izy amin'ny taona fahafito.

¹²`When thy brother is sold to thee, a Hebrew or a Hebrewess, and he hath served thee six years — then in the seventh year thou dost send him away free from thee.

¹³Ary raha hovotsoranao ho afaka izy, dia tsy havelanao handeha fotsiny;

¹³And when thou dost send him away free from thee, thou dost not send him away empty;

¹⁴fa hisy hampitondrainao azy avy amin'ny ondry aman'osinao ary avy amin'ny famoloanao sy ny famiazanao: araka izay efa nitahian'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao no hanomezanao azy.

¹⁴thou dost certainly encircle him out of thy flock, and out of thy threshing-floor, and out of thy wine-vat; [of] that which Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee thou dost give to him,

¹⁵Ary tsarovy fa andevo tany amin'ny tany Egypta ianao, nefa Jehovah Andriamanitrao efa nanavotra anao, koa izany no andidiako anao izao zavatra izao anio.

¹⁵and thou hast remembered that a servant thou hast been in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah thy God doth ransom thee; therefore I am commanding thee this thing to-day.

¹⁶Kanefa raha hoy izy aminao: Tsy hiala aminao aho, satria tsy foiny ianao sy ny ankohonanao, ka finaritra aminao izy,

¹⁶`And it hath been, when he saith unto thee, I go not out from thee — because he hath loved thee, and thy house, because [it is] good for him with thee —

¹⁷dia halainao ny haolo ka hotevehinao amin'ny varavarana ny sofiny, dia ho mpanomponao mandrakizay izy. Ary toy izany koa no hataonao amin'ny ankizivavinao.

¹⁷then thou hast taken the awl, and hast put [it] through his ear, and through the door, and he hath been to thee a servant age-during; and also to thy handmaid thou dost do so.

¹⁸Aza ataonao ho sarotra ny hamotsotra azy ho afaka, fa indroa toraka ny karaman'ny mpikarama no azonao tamin'ny nanompoany anao enin-taona; dia hitahy anao Jehovah Andriamanitrao amin'izay rehetra ataonao.

¹⁸`It is not hard in thine eyes, in thy sending him away free from thee; for the double of the hire of an hireling he hath served thee six years, and Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee in all that thou dost.

¹⁹[Ny ho fanao amin'ny voalohan-teraky ny biby fiompy] Ny lahy rehetra amin'ny voalohan-teraky ny ombinao sy ny ondry aman'osinao dia hohamasininao ho an'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao; aza mampiasa ny voalohan-teraky ny ombinao, na manety ny voalohan-teraky ny ondry aman'osinao.

¹⁹`Every firstling that is born in thy herd and in thy flock — the male thou dost sanctify to Jehovah thy God; thou dost not work with the firstling of thine ox, nor shear the firstling of thy flock;

²⁰Eo anatrehan'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao no hihinananao sy ny ankohonanao azy isan-taona isan-taona eo amin'ny fitoerana izay hofidin'i Jehovah.

²⁰before Jehovah thy God thou dost eat it year by year, in the place which Jehovah doth choose, thou and thy house.

²¹Fa raha misy kilemany izy: na mandringa, na jamba, na izay kilema ratsy hafa akory, dia aza vonoinao hatao fanatitra ho an'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ireny.

²¹`And when there is in it a blemish, lame, or blind, any evil blemish, thou dost not sacrifice it to Jehovah thy God;

²²Ao an-tanànanao ihany no hihinananao ireny; na ny olona maloto na ny madio dia samy mahazo mihinana azy, tahaka ny ahazoany mihinana ny gazela sy ny diera.Kanefa ny ràny no aza hanina, fa aidino amin'ny tany toy ny rano.

²²within thy gates thou dost eat it, the unclean and the clean alike, as the roe, and as the hart.

²³Kanefa ny ràny no aza hanina, fa aidino amin'ny tany toy ny rano.

²³Only, its blood thou dost not eat; on the earth thou dost pour it as water.
