¹Also you — being dead in the trespasses and the sins,

²izay nalehanareo fahiny, araka ny fomban'izao tontolo izao, araka ny mpanapaka ny fanjakana eny amin'ny rivotra, dia ny fanahy izay miasa ankehitriny ao anatin'ny zanaky ny tsi-fanarahana;

²in which once ye did walk according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience,

³teo amin'ireo no nitondrantsika rehetra tena koa fahiny tamin'ny filan'ny nofontsika, ka nanaovantsika ny danin'ny nofo sy ny saina; ary araka ny toetsika dia zanaky ny fahatezerana toy ny sasany koa isika.

³among whom also we all did walk once in the desires of our flesh, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath — as also the others,

⁴Fa Andriamanitra, Izay manan-karena amin'ny famindram-po, noho ny halehiben'ny fitiavany izay nitiavany antsika,

⁴and God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us,

⁵na dia fony mbola matin'ny fahadisoana aza isika, dia nahavelona antsika niaraka tamin'i Kristy (fahasoavana no namonjena anareo);

⁵even being dead in the trespasses, did make us to live together with the Christ, (by grace ye are having been saved,)

⁶ary niara-natsangany isika ka niara-napetrany any an-danitra ao amin'i Kristy Jesosy,

⁶and did raise [us] up together, and did seat [us] together in the heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus,

⁷mba hasehony amin'ny andro ho avy ny haben'ny haren'ny fahasoavany amin'ny fahamoram-panahiny amintsika ao amin'i Kristy Jesosy.

⁷that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus,

⁸Fa fahasoavana no namonjena anareo amin'ny finoana; ary tsy avy aminareo izany, fa fanomezana avy amin'Andriamanitra;

⁸for by grace ye are having been saved, through faith, and this not of you — of God the gift,

⁹tsy avy amin'ny asa, fandrao hisy hirehareha.

⁹not of works, that no one may boast;

¹⁰Fa asany isika, voaforona tao amin'i Kristy Jesosy mba hanao asa tsara, izay namboarin'Andriamanitra rahateo mba handehanantsika eo aminy.

¹⁰for of Him we are workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God did before prepare, that in them we may walk.

¹¹[Ny famindram-pon'Andriamanitra amin'ny jentilisa amin'ny andraisany azy ho ao amin'ny fiangonana] Koa tsarovy fa fahiny ianareo izay jentilisa araka ny nofo, ka nolazain'ny voaforan-tanana teo amin'ny nofo hoe tsy voafora -

¹¹Wherefore, remember, that ye [were] once the nations in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands,

¹²that ye were at that time apart from Christ, having been alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope, and without God, in the world;

¹³fa ankehitriny kosa, ao amin'i Kristy Jesosy, ianareo izay lavitra fahiny dia efa nampanakeken'ny ran'i Kristy.

¹³and now, in Christ Jesus, ye being once afar off became nigh in the blood of the Christ,

¹⁴Fa Izy no fihavanantsika, Izay nahiray antsika roa tonta ka nandrava ny efitry ny fisarahana,

¹⁴for he is our peace, who did make both one, and the middle wall of the enclosure did break down,

¹⁵fa tao amin'ny nofony no nandravany ny fandrafiana, dia ny lalàna nisy didy natao hotandremana, mba hanakambanany antsika roa tonta ao amin'ny tenany ho olom-baovao iray, ka hanaovany fihavanana,

¹⁵the enmity in his flesh, the law of the commands in ordinances having done away, that the two he might create in himself into one new man, making peace,

¹⁶ary hampihavana antsika roa tonta ho tena iray amin'Andriamanitra noho ny hazo fijaliana, izay namonoany ny fandrafiana.

¹⁶and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity in it,

¹⁷Ary tonga Izy ka nitory teny soa mahafaly milaza fihavanana taminareo izay lavitra ary fihavanana tamin'izay akaiky koa. [ Na: fiadanana; izahao Isa. 57.19]

¹⁷and having come, he did proclaim good news — peace to you — the far-off and the nigh,

¹⁸Fa Izy no ananantsika roa tonta fanatonana amin'ny Fanahy iray ho any amin'ny Ray.

¹⁸because through him we have the access — we both — in one Spirit unto the Father.

¹⁹Koa dia tsy mba vahiny sy mpivahiny intsony ianareo, fa tompon-tany, mpiray fanjakana amin'ny olona masina sady ankohonan'Andriamanitra,

¹⁹Then, therefore, ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens of the saints, and of the household of God,

²⁰natsangana teo ambonin'ny fanorenan'ny Apostoly sy ny mpaminany, ary Kristy Jesosy no fehizoro indrindra;

²⁰being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being chief corner-[stone],

²¹ao aminy no irafetan'ny rafitra rehetra, mitombo tsara ho tempoly masina ao amin'ny Tompo.Ary ao aminy no miaraka aorina koa ianareo ho fonenan'Andriamanitra amin'ny Fanahy.

²¹in whom all the building fitly framed together doth increase to an holy sanctuary in the Lord,

²²Ary ao aminy no miaraka aorina koa ianareo ho fonenan'Andriamanitra amin'ny Fanahy.

²²in whom also ye are builded together, for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
