1Raha azo manamitrano ny mpangalatra ka asiana ho faty, dia tsy hisy valin-drà amin'izany;
1`When a man doth steal an ox or sheep, and hath slaughtered it or sold it, five of the herd he doth repay for the ox, and four of the flock for the sheep.
2fa raha tratry ny masoandro miposaka kosa izy, dia hisy valin-drà ihany amin'izany; hanonitra tokoa izy; ary raha tsy manana na inona na inona, dia hamidy izy noho ny halatra nataony.
2`If in the breaking through, the thief is found, and he hath been smitten, and hath died, there is no blood for him;
3Raha hita marina velona eo aminy ny halatra na omby, na boriky, na ondry, na osy, dia hanonitra roa heny izy.
3if the sun hath risen upon him, blood [is] for him, he doth certainly repay; if he have nothing, then he hath been sold for his theft;
4Raha misy olona mampitondraka amin'ny voly na tanim-boaloboka, fa alefany handeha ny bibiny, ka homana ny volin'olona izany biby izany, dia amin'ny tsara indrindra ao amin'ny sahany, ary amin'ny tsara indrindra ao amin'ny tanim-boalobony, no hanonerany.
4if the theft is certainly found in his hand alive, whether ox, or ass, or sheep — double he repayeth.
5Raha misy afo mirehitra ka mahazo ny tsilo, ka may ny antontam-bary, na ny vary maniry, na ny saha, dia hanonitra tokoa izay nampirehitra ny afo.
5`When a man depastureth a field or vineyard, and hath sent out his beast, and it hath pastured in the field of another, [of] the best of his field, and the best of his vineyard, he doth repay.
6Raha misy olona mampitahiry vola na fanaka ny namany, ka angalarin'ny sasany ao amin'ny tranon'ilay olona izany, raha hita ny mpangalatra, dia hanonitra roa heny izy.
6`When fire goeth forth, and hath found thorns, and a stack, or the standing corn, or the field, hath been consumed, he who causeth the burning doth certainly repay.
7Fa raha tsy hita kosa ny mpangalatra, dia ho entina eo anatrehan'Andriamanitra ny tompon'ny trano mba hizahana na naninjitra ny tànany ka naka ny fananan'ny namany izy, na tsia.
7`When a man doth give unto his neighbour silver, or vessels to keep, and it hath been stolen out of the man`s house; if the thief is found, he repayeth double.
8Ny amin'ny zavatra ifandirana rehetra, na omby, na boriky, na ondry, na osy, na fitafiana, na zavatra very, izay ataon'olona ho azy, dia ho entina eo anatrehan'Andriamanitra ny tenin'izy roa tonta, koa izay helohih'Andriamanitra dia hanonitra roa heny ho an'ny namany.
8`If the thief is not found, then the master of the house hath been brought near unto God, whether he hath not put forth his hand against the work of his neighbour;
9Raha misy olona mampitahiry ny namany boriky, na omby, na ondry, na osy, na biby fiompy hafa, ka maty izany, na maratra, na roahina ka tsy misy mahita,
9for every matter of transgression, for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, for any lost thing of which it is said that it is his; unto God cometh the matter of them both; he whom God doth condemn, he repayeth double to his neighbour.
10dia fianianana amin'i Jehovah no hitsarana azy roa tonta, hahafantarana na efa naninjitra ny tànany ka naka ny fananan'ny namany ilay anankiray, na tsia; ary heken'ny tompony izany, dia tsy hisy onitra.
10`When a man doth give unto his neighbour an ass, or ox, or sheep, or any beast to keep, and it hath died, or hath been hurt, or taken captive, none seeing —
11Fa raha nangalarina tany aminy tokoa izany, dia hanonitra ho an'ny tompon-javatra izy.
11an oath of Jehovah is between them both, that he hath not put forth his hand against the work of his neighbour, and its owner hath accepted, and he doth not repay;
12Raha voaviraviram-biby izany, dia hitondra azy ho vavolombelona izy; tsy hanonitra izay voaviravira izy.
12but if it is certainly stolen from him, he doth repay to its owner;
13Ary raha misy olona mindran-javatra amin'ny namany, ka simba na maty izany, nefa tsy mba teo aminy ny tompon-javatra, dia hanonitra tokoa izy.
13if it is certainly torn, he bringeth it in — a witness; the torn thing he doth not repay.
14Fa raha teo aminy ihany ny tompon-javatra, dia tsy hanonitra izy; ary raha zavatra ahofa kosa, dia vitan'ny hofany izany.
14`And when a man doth ask [anything] from his neighbour, and it hath been hurt or hath died — its owner not being with it — he doth certainly repay;
15Ary raha misy olona mitaona zazavavy, izay tsy voafofo, ka mandry aminy, dia hanome harena azy izy mba ho vadiny.
15if its owner [is] with it, he doth not repay, — if it [is] a hired thing, it hath come for its hire.
16Fa raha mandà tokoa ny rainy ka tsy manome azy ho vadiny, dia handoa vola ralehilahy araka ny harena fanome zazavavy hampakarina.
16`And when a man doth entice a virgin who [is] not betrothed, and hath lain with her, he doth certainly endow her to himself for a wife;
17Aza velomina ny vehivavy manana ody.
17if her father utterly refuse to give her to him, money he doth weigh out according to the dowry of virgins.
18Izay rehetra mandry amin'ny biby dia hatao maty tokoa.
18`A witch thou dost not keep alive.
19Izay mamono zavatra hatao fanatitra amin'ny andriamanitra hafa, afa-tsy amin'i Jehovah ihany, dia ho voaozona.
19`Whoever lieth with a beast is certainly put to death.
20Ary aza manao izay sarotra amin'ny vahiny, na mampahory azy; fa ela mba vahiny tany amin'ny tany Egypta ihany ianareo.
20`He who is sacrificing to a god, save to Jehovah alone, is devoted.
21Aza mampahory ny mpitondratena sy ny kamboty akory ianareo.
21`And a sojourner thou dost not oppress, nor crush him, for sojourners ye have been in the land of Egypt.
22Fa raha mampahory azy na amin'inona na amin'inona ianao, ka mitaraina amiko izy, dia hihaino ny fitarainany tokoa Aho,
22`Any widow or orphan ye do not afflict;
23ka hirehitra ny fahatezerako, ary hamono anareo amin'ny sabatra Aho; dia mba ho mpitondratena ny vadinareo, ary ho kamboty kosa ny zanakareo.
23if thou dost really afflict him, surely if he at all cry unto Me, I certainly hear his cry;
24Raha mampisambo-bola ny oloko izay malahelo eo aminao ianao, dia tsy ho toy ny mpampanana vola aminy; fa tsy hampandoa zana-bola azy ianao.
24and Mine anger hath burned, and I have slain you by the sword, and your wives have been widows, and your sons orphans.
25Raha maka ny lamban'ny namanao ho tsatòka ianao, dia hampodinao aminy izany, raha mbola tsy milentika ny masoandro.
25`If thou dost lend My poor people with thee money, thou art not to him as a usurer; thou dost not lay on him usury;
26Fa izany ihany no firakofany sady fitafiany amin'ny hodiny, ka inona no ho entiny mandry? ary raha mitaraina amiko izy, dia hohenoiko, fa mamindra fo Aho.
26if thou dost at all take in pledge the garment of thy neighbour, during the going in of the sun thou dost return it to him:
27Aza miteny ratsy an'Andriamanitra ianao, na manozona ny mpanapaka ny firenenao.
27for it alone is his covering, it [is] his garment for his skin; wherein doth he lie down? and it hath come to pass, when he doth cry unto Me, that I have heard, for I [am] gracious.
28Aza atao ela vao manatitra ny santatry ny vokatrao sy ny fisotronao; ny matoa amin'ny zanakao-lahy dia omeo Ahy.
28`God thou dost not revile, and a prince among thy people thou dost not curse.
29Izao no hataonao amin'ny ombinao sy ny ondry aman'osinao; hafitoana no hitoerany ao amin'ny reniny; ary amin'ny andro fahavalo no hanateranao azy ho Ahy.Ary ho olona masina ho Ahy ianareo, koa izay hena voaviraviram-biby any an-tsaha dia tsy hohaninareo; fa harianareo ho an'ny amboa izany.
29`Thy fulness and thy liquids thou dost not delay; the first-born of thy sons thou dost give to Me;
30Ary ho olona masina ho Ahy ianareo, koa izay hena voaviraviram-biby any an-tsaha dia tsy hohaninareo; fa harianareo ho an'ny amboa izany.
30so thou dost to thine ox, to thy sheep; seven days it is with its dam, on the eighth day thou dost give it to Me.
31`And ye are holy men to Me, and flesh torn in the field ye do not eat, to a dog ye do cast it.
