¹`And thou hast made an altar [for] making perfume; [of] shittim wood thou dost make it;

²Ho iray hakiho avy ny lafiny efatra, dia ho efa-joro izy, ary ho roa hakiho ny hahavony; koa ataovy miray aminy ny tandrony.

²a cubit its length, and a cubit its breadth, (it is square), and two cubits its height; its horns [are] of the same.

³Ary petaho takela-bolamena tsara izy, dia ny tampony sy ny lafiny manodidina ary ny tandrony; ary asio koronosy volamena manodidina.

³`And thou hast overlaid it with pure gold, its top, and its sides round about, and its horns; and thou hast made to it a crown of gold round about;

⁴Ary asio vava volamena roa izy eo ambanin'ny koronosiny, ka ataovy eo amin'ny zorony efatra ireo; ary ho fitoeran'ny bao ireo hilanjana azy.

⁴and two rings of gold thou dost make to it under its crown; on its two ribs thou dost make [them], on its two sides, and they have become places for staves, to bear it with them.

⁵Ary hazo akasia no anaovy ny bao, ka petaho takela-bolamena.

⁵`And thou hast made the staves of shittim wood, and hast overlaid them with gold;

⁶Ary apetraho eo anoloan'ny efitra izay manakona ny fiaran'ny Vavolombelona izy, dia manandrify ny rakotra fanaovam-panavotana eo ambonin'ny Vavolombelona, izay hihaonako aminao.

⁶and thou hast put it before the vail, which [is] by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy-seat which [is] over the testimony, whither I am met with thee.

⁷Ary Arona handoro ditin-kazo mani-pofona eo; isa-maraina, raha mamboatra ny lela fanaovan-jiro, no handoroany izany;

⁷`And Aaron hath made perfume on it, perfume of spices, morning by morning; in his making the lamps right he doth perfume it,

⁸ary raha mampirehitra ny lela fanaovan-jiro Arona nony hariva no handoroany izany koa; ditin-kazo mani-pofona eo anatrehan'i Jehovah mandrakariva hatramin'ny taranakareo fara mandimby izany.

⁸and in Aaron`s causing the lamps to go up between the evenings, he doth perfume it; a continual perfume before Jehovah to your generations.

⁹Aza manatitra ditin-kazo manitra tsy izy eo ianareo, na fanatitra dorana, na fanatitra hohanina; ary aza manidina fanatitra aidina eo.

⁹`Ye do not cause strange perfume to go up upon it, and burnt-offering, and present, and libation ye do not pour out on it;

¹⁰Ary aoka Arona hanao fanavotana eo amin'ny tandrony indray mandeha isan-kerintaona; amin'ny ran'ny fanatitra noho ny ota, izay atao fanavotana, indray mandeha isan-kerintaona, no hanaovany fanavotana eo, hatramin'ny taranakareo fara mandimby; ho masina indrindra ho an'i Jehovah izany.

¹⁰and Aaron hath made atonement on its horns, once in a year, by the blood of the sin-offering of atonements; once in a year doth he make atonement for it, to your generations; it [is] most holy to Jehovah.`

¹¹[Ny handoavana ny vola avotra] Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe;

¹¹And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹²Raha maka ny isan'ny Zanak'Isiraely araka ny fandaminana azy ianao, dia samy handoa avotry ny ainy avy ho an'i Jehovah ny isan-olona, raha alamina izy, mba tsy hisy areti-mandringana hanjo azy, raha alamina izy.

¹²`When thou takest up the sum of the sons of Israel for their numbers, then they have given each an atonement [for] his soul to Jehovah in their being numbered, and there is no plague among them in their being numbered.

¹³Izao no haloan'izay re­hetra voalamina, dia antsasaky ny sekely avy araka ny sekely masina (gera roa-polo ny sekely iray), eny, antsasaky ny sekely ho fanatitra ho an'i Jehovah.

¹³`This they do give, every one passing over unto those numbered, half a shekel, by the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel [is] twenty gerahs); half a shekel [is] the heave-offering to Jehovah;

¹⁴Izay rehetra voalamina hatramin'ny roa-polo taona no ho miakatra no handoa ny fanatitra ho an'i Jehovah.

¹⁴every one passing over unto those numbered, from a son of twenty years and upwards, doth give the heave-offering of Jehovah;

¹⁵Ny manan-karena tsy handoa mihoatra noho ny antsasaky ny sekely, ary ny malahelo tsy handoa latsaka, raha mandoa ny fanatitra ho an'i Jehovah izy, hanavotra ny ainareo.

¹⁵the rich doth not multiply, and the poor doth not diminish from the half-shekel, to give the heave-offering of Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.

¹⁶Ary handray ny vola avotra amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely ianao, ka hataonao amin'ny fanompoana ao amin'ny trano-lay fihaonana; ary ho fahatsiarovana ho an'ny Zanak'Isiraely eo anatrehan'i Jehovah izany, ho avotry ny ainareo.

¹⁶`And thou hast taken the atonement-money from the sons of Israel, and hast given it for the service of the tent of meeting; and it hath been to the sons of Israel for a memorial before Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.`

¹⁷[Ny tavy, sy ny diloilo fanosorana, ary ny ditin-kazo manitra] Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:

¹⁷And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹⁸Manaova tavy varahina hanasana, ary aoka ho varahina koa ny faladiany; ary apetraho eo anelanelan'ny trano-lay fihaonana sy ny alitara izy, ka asio rano eo anatiny.

¹⁸`And thou hast made a laver of brass (and its base of brass), for washing; and thou hast put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and hast put water there;

¹⁹Ary eo no hanasan'i Arona sy ny zanany ny tongony aman-tanany.

¹⁹and Aaron and his sons have washed at it their hands and their feet,

²⁰Raha miditra amin'ny trano-lay fihaonana izy, dia hisasa amin'ny rano, mba tsy hahafaty azy. Ary raha manakaiky ny alitara hanao fanompoam-pivavahana izy, mba handoro ny fanatitra atao amin'ny afo ho an'i Jehovah,

²⁰in their going in unto the tent of meeting they wash [with] water, and die not; or in their drawing nigh unto the altar to minister, to perfume a fire-offering to Jehovah,

²¹dia hanasa ny tongony aman-tànany izy, mba tsy hahafaty azy; ary ho lalàna mandrakizay aminy sy ny zanany izany hatramin'ny taranany fara mandimby.

²¹then they have washed their hands and their feet, and they die not, and it hath been to them a statute age-during, to him and to his seed to their generations.`

²²Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:

²²And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

²³Makà zava-manitra tsara ho anao, dia miora mitete dimam-jato sekely sy havozomanitra antsasak'izany, dia dimam-polo amby roan-jato, sy veromanitra dimam-polo amby roan-jato

²³`And thou, take to thyself principal spices, wild honey five hundred [shekels]; and spice-cinnamon, the half of that, two hundred and fifty; and spice-cane two hundred and fifty;

²⁴sy kasia dimam-jato; araka ny sekely masina, ary diloilon'oliva eran'ny hina;

²⁴and cassia five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, and olive oil a hin;

²⁵dia amboary ho diloilo fanosorana masina izany, ho zavatra aharoharo, asan'ny mpangaroharo zava-manitra; ho diloilo fanosorana masina izany.

²⁵and thou hast made it a holy anointing oil, a compound mixture, work of a compounder; it is a holy anointing oil.

²⁶Ary hosory amin'izany ny trano-lay fihaonana sy ny fiaran'ny Vavolombelona,

²⁶`And thou hast anointed with it the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony,

²⁷sy ny latabatra mbamin'ny fanaka rehetra momba azy sy ny fanaovan-jiro mbamin'ny fanaka momba azy sy ny alitara fandoroana ditin-kazo manitra,

²⁷and the table and all its vessels, and the candlestick and its vessels, and the altar of perfume,

²⁸ary ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana mbamin'ny fanaka rehetra momba azy ary ny tavy sy ny faladiany.

²⁸and the altar of burnt-offering and all its vessels, and the laver and its base;

²⁹Ary hamasino ireo mba ho masina indrindra; ary ho masina izay rehetra manendry azy.

²⁹and thou hast sanctified them, and they have been most holy; all that is coming against them is holy;

³⁰Ary hosory Arona sy ny zanany, ka hamasino izy mba ho mpisorona ho Ahy.

³⁰and Aaron and his sons thou dost anoint, and hast sanctified them for being priests to Me.

³¹Ary mitenena amin'ny Zanak'Isiraely hoe: Ity ho diloilo fanosorana masina ho Ahy hatramin'ny taranakareo fara mandimby.

³¹`And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, A holy anointing oil is this to Me, to your generations;

³²Aoka tsy hihosoran'ny olon-kafa izany, na hisy haka tahaka azy, araka ny fanaovana azy; fa masina izy ka ho masina aminareo.

³²on flesh of man it is not poured, and with its proper proportion ye make none like it; it [is] holy; it is holy to you;

³³Na zovy na zovy mangaroharo izay tahaka azy, ary na zovy na zovy manosotra azy amin'ny vahiny dia hofongorana tsy ho amin'ny fireneny.

³³a man who compoundeth [any] like it, or who putteth of it on a stranger — hath even been cut off from his people.`

³⁴Dia hoy Jehovah tamin'i Mosesy: Makà zava-manitra ho anao, dia natafa sy sekeleta sy helbena ary lebona madio; samy hamboarina manokana ireo.

³⁴And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Take to thee spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, spices and pure frankincense; they are part for part;

³⁵Ary ataovy ditin-kazo manitra izy, dia zavatra aharoharo araka ny fanaon'ny mpangaroharo zava-manitra, dia asio sira izy, ary aoka ho madio sy masina.

³⁵and thou hast made it a perfume, a compound, work of a compounder, salted, pure, holy;

³⁶Ary torotoroy ny sasany ho madinika indrindra, dia ataovy eo anoloan'ny Vavolombelona ao amin'ny trano-lay fihaonana, izay hihaonako aminao; ho masina indrindra ho anareo izany.

³⁶and thou hast beaten [some] of it small, and hast put of it before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, whither I am met with thee; most holy it is to you.

³⁷Ary ny amin'ny ditin-kazo manitra izay hataonao, dia aza mba misy atao tahaka azy ny ho anareo; ho masina aminao ho an'i Jehovah izany.Na zovy na zovy manao izay tahaka azy ho fanorohana dia hofongorana tsy ho amin'ny fireneny.

³⁷`As to the perfume which thou makest, with its proper proportion ye do not make to yourselves, holy it is to thee to Jehovah;

³⁸Na zovy na zovy manao izay tahaka azy ho fanorohana dia hofongorana tsy ho amin'ny fireneny.

³⁸a man who maketh [any] like it — to be refreshed by it — hath even been cut off from his people.`
