¹And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Hew for thyself two tables of stone like the first, and I have written on the tables the words which were on the first tables which thou hast broken;

²ary aoka hivonona ianao mandra-pahamaraina; dia miakara raha maraina ho ao amin'ny tendrombohitra Sinay, ka mitsangana eo anatrehako ao an-tampon'ny tendrombohitra.

²and be prepared at morning, and thou hast come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and hast stood before Me there, on the top of the mount,

³Ary aoka tsy hisy olona hiakatra afa-tsy ianao, ary aoka tsy hisy olona ho hita eny amin'ny tendrombohitra Sinay rehetra; ary ny ondry aman'osy koa sy ny omby dia aoka tsy hisy handrasana eny akaikin'izany tendrombohitra izany

³and no man cometh up with thee, and also no man is seen in all the mount, also the flock and the herd do not feed over-against that mount.`

⁴Dia nanamboatra vato fisaka roa tahaka ilay teo Mosesy, ary nifoha maraina koa izy ka niakatra tao amin'ny tendrombohitra Sinay, araka izay nandidian'i Jehovah azy; ary nentiny teny an-tànany ny vato fisaka roa.

⁴And he heweth two tables of stone like the first, and Moses riseth early in the morning, and goeth up unto mount Sinai, as Jehovah commanded him, and he taketh in his hand two tables of stone.

⁵Ary Jehovah nidina tao anatin'ny rahona ka nijanona teo aminy, dia nanonona ny anaran'i Jehovah.

⁵And Jehovah cometh down in a cloud, and stationeth Himself with him there, and calleth in the Name of Jehovah,

⁶Ary Jehovah nandalo teo anatrehany ka niantso hoe: Jehovah, Jehovah, Andriamanitra mamindra fo sy miantra, mahari-po sady be famindram-po sy fahamarinana,

⁶and Jehovah passeth over before his face, and calleth: `Jehovah, Jehovah God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,

⁷mitahiry famindram-po ho an'ny olona arivo mandimby, mamela heloka sy fahadisoana ary fahotana, kanefa tsy mety manamarina ny meloka, fa mamaly ny heloky ny ray amin'ny zanaka sy ny zafy hatramin'ny zafiafy sy ny zafindohalika.

⁷keeping kindness for thousands, taking away iniquity, and transgression, and sin, and not entirely acquitting, charging iniquity of fathers on children, and on children`s children, on a third [generation], and on a fourth.`

⁸Ary Mosesy dia niondrika faingana tamin'ny tany ka niankohoka;

⁸And Moses hasteth, and boweth to the earth, and doth obeisance,

⁹dia hoy izy: Tompo ô, raha mba mahita fitia eo imasonao aho, aoka Hianao, Tompo ô, handeha ao afovoanay (fa firenena mafy hatoka izy), ka mamelà ny helokay sy ny fahotanay ary raiso ho lovanao izahay.

⁹and saith, `If, I pray Thee, I have found grace in Thine eyes, O my Lord, let my Lord, I pray Thee, go in our midst (for it [is] a stiff-necked people), and thou hast forgiven our iniquity and our sin, and hast inherited us.`

¹⁰Ary hoy Izy: Indro, manao fanekena Aho, ka eo anatrehan'ny olonao rehetra no hanaovako zava-mahagaga, izay tsy mbola nisy natao tany amin'ny tany rehetra sy tany amin'ny firenena rehetra; ary ny olona rehetra izay itoeranao dia hahita ny asan'i Jehovah, fa mahatahotra izay zavatra efa hataoko amin'ny fiombako anao.

¹⁰And He saith, `Lo, I am making a covenant: before all thy people I do wonders, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation, and all the people in whose midst thou [art] have seen the work of Jehovah, for it [is] fearful that which I am doing with thee.

¹¹Tandremo izay andidiako anao anio; indro, efa horoahiko hiala eo anatrehanao ny Amorita sy ny Kananita sy ny Hetita sy ny Perizita sy ny Hivita ary ny Jebosita.

¹¹`Observe for thyself that which I am commanding thee to-day: lo, I am casting out from before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite;

¹²Koa mitandrema, fandrao hanao fanekena amin'ny mponina eo amin'ny tany izay halehanao ianao, ka ho fandrika eo afovoanao izany.

¹²take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land into which thou art going, lest it become a snare in thy midst;

¹³Fa ravao ny alitarany, ary torotoroy ny tsangam-baton-tsampiny, ary jinjao ny Aserahany.

¹³for their altars ye break down, and their standing pillars ye shiver, and its shrines ye cut down;

¹⁴Fa tsy hiankohoka eo anatrehan'izay andriamani-kafa ianao; fa Jehovah, dia saro-piaro no anarany, satria Andriamanitra saro-piaro Izy,

¹⁴for ye do not bow yourselves to another god — for Jehovah, whose name [is] Zealous, is a zealous God.

¹⁵fandrao ianao hanao fanekena amin'ny mponina eo amin'ny tany, ka hijangajanga hanaraka ny andriamaniny sy hamono zavatra hatao fanatitra ho an'ny andriamaniny izy, ary hasainy ianao ka hihinana amin'ny fanatiny;

¹⁵`Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, and they have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have sacrificed to their gods, and [one] hath called to thee, and thou hast eaten of his sacrifice,

¹⁶ary andrao koa haka amin'ny zananivavy ho vadin'ny zanakao-lahy ianao, ary hijangajanga hanaraka ny andriamaniny ny zananivavy ka hampandeha ny zanakao-lahy hijangajanga hanaraka ny andriamaniny.

¹⁶and thou hast taken of their daughters to thy sons, and their daughters have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have caused thy sons to go a-whoring after their gods;

¹⁷Aza manao andriamanitra anidina ho anao.

¹⁷a molten god thou dost not make to thyself.

¹⁸Tandremo ny andro firavoravoana, dia ny andro fihinanana ny mofo tsy misy masirasira. Hafitoana no hihinananao ny mofo tsy misy masirasira, araka izay nandidiako anao, amin'ny fotoan'andro amin'ny volana Abiba, fa tamin'ny volana Abiba no nivoahanao avy tany Egypta.

¹⁸`The feast of unleavened things thou dost keep; seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, as I have commanded thee, at an appointed time, the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib thou didst come out from Egypt.

¹⁹Izay voalohan-teraka rehetra no Ahy, dia ny lahy amin'ny voalohan-teraky ny bibinao, na omby na ondry aman'osy;

¹⁹`All opening a womb [are] Mine, and every firstling of thy cattle born a male, ox or sheep;

²⁰fa ny voalohan-teraky ny boriky kosa dia hosoloanao zanak'ondry; ary raha tsy hanolo azy ianao, dia hofolahinao ny vozony; ary ny lahimatoa rehetra amin'ny zanakao dia havotanao. Ary aoka tsy hisy hiseho foana tsy mitondra fanatitra eo anatrehako.

²⁰and the firstling of an ass thou dost ransom with a lamb; and if thou dost not ransom, then thou hast beheaded it; every first-born of thy sons thou dost ransom, and they do not appear before Me empty.

²¹Henemana no hiasanao, fa amin'ny andro fahafito dia hitsahatra ianao: na dia amin'ny taom-pamafazana sy amin'ny taom-pijinjana aza dia hitsahatra ihany ianao.

²¹`Six days thou dost work, and on the seventh day thou dost rest; in ploughing-time and in harvest thou dost rest.

²²Ary tandremo ny andro firavoravoana manarakaraka ireo herinandro amin'ny fanaterana ny voaloham-bokatra, raha mijinja ny vary tritika, sy ny andro firavoravoana amin'ny fanangonana amin'ny fitsingerenan'ny taona.

²²`And a feast of weeks thou dost observe for thyself; first-fruits of wheat-harvest; and the feast of in-gathering, at the revolution of the year.

²³Intelo isan-kerintaona ny lehilahy rehetra aminao no hiseho eo anatrehan'i Jehovah Tompo, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely.

²³`Three times in a year do all thy males appear before the Lord Jehovah, God of Israel;

²⁴Fa handroaka firenena eo alohanao Aho ka hanitatra ny fari-taninao; ary tsy hisy olona haniry ny taninao, raha miakatra hiseho eo anatrehan'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao intelo isan-kerintaona ianao.

²⁴for I dispossess nations from before thee, and have enlarged thy border, and no man doth desire thy land in thy going up to appear before Jehovah thy God three times in a year.

²⁵Aza manatitra ny ran'ny zavatra vonoina hatao fanatitra ho Ahy ianao, raha mbola misy masirasira ao aminao; ary aza avela ho tra-maraina ny zavatra vonoina hatao fanatitra ho Ahy amin'ny andro firavoravoana amin'ny Paska.

²⁵`Thou dost not slaughter with a fermented thing the blood of My sacrifice; and the sacrifice of the feast of the passover doth not remain till morning:

²⁶Ny santatra amin'ny voaloham-bokatry ny taninao dia haterinao ho ao an-tranon'i Jehovah Andriamanitrao. Aza mahandro zanak'osy amin'ny rononon-dreniny.

²⁶the first of the first-fruits of the land thou dost bring into the house of Jehovah thy God; thou dost not boil a kid in its mother`s milk.`

²⁷Ary hoy Jehovah tamin'i Mosesy: Soraty ireo teny ireo, fa araka ireo teny ireo no nanaovako fanekena aminao sy amin'ny Isiraely.

²⁷And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Write for thyself these words, for, according to the tenor of these words I have made with thee a covenant, and with Israel.`

²⁸Dia teo amin'i Jehovah efa-polo andro sy efa-polo alina izy sady, tsy nihinan-kanina na nisotro rano. Ary nosoratan'i Jehovah tamin'ny vato fisaka ny tenin'ny fanekena, dia ny Didy Folo.

²⁸And he is there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; bread he hath not eaten, and water he hath not drunk; and he writeth on the tables the matters of the covenant — the ten matters.

²⁹Ary Mosesy nidina avy tao an-tendrombohitra Sinay, ary teny an-tànany ny vato roa izay nisy ny Vavolombelona tamin'izy nidina avy teo an-tendrombohitra, ary tsy fantany ho namirapiratra ny hoditry ny tavany noho ny nitenenany taminy.

²⁹And it cometh to pass, when Moses is coming down from mount Sinai (and the two tables of the testimony [are] in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mount), that Moses hath not known that the skin of his face hath shone in His speaking with him,

³⁰Ary nony hitan'i Arona sy ny Zanak'Isiraely rehetra Mosesy, ka, indro, namirapiratra ny hoditry ny tavany, dia natahotra azy izy.

³⁰and Aaron seeth — all the sons of Israel also — Moses, and lo, the skin of his face hath shone, and they are afraid of coming nigh unto him.

³¹Ary Mosesy niantso azy, dia niverina Arona sy ny lohan'ny fiangonana rehetra ho eo aminy; ary Mosesy niteny taminy.

³¹And Moses calleth unto them, and Aaron and all the princes in the company return unto him, and Moses speaketh unto them;

³²Ary rehefa afaka izany, dia nanakaiky koa ny Zanak'Isiraely rehetra; ary Mosesy nandidy azy araka izay rehetra nolazain'i Jehovah taminy tao amin'ny tendrombohitra Sinay.

³²and afterwards have all the sons of Israel come nigh, and he chargeth them with all that Jehovah hath spoken with him in mount Sinai.

³³Ary rehefa vita ny teny nataon'i Mosesy taminy, dia nasiany fisalobonana ny tavany.

³³And Moses finisheth speaking with them, and putteth on his face a vail;

³⁴Ary raha niditra teo anatrehan'i Jehovah Mosesy hiteny aminy, dia nanaisotra ny fisalobonana izy mandra-pivoakany. Dia nivoaka izy ka nilaza tamin'ny Zanak'Isiraely izay efa nandidiana azy.Ary hitan'ny Zanak'Isiraely ny tavan'i Mosesy, fa, indro, namirapiratra ny hoditry ny tavany; dia nasaron'i Mosesy ny tavany indray ny fisalobonana mandra-pidiny hiteny aminy indray.

³⁴and in the going in of Moses before Jehovah to speak with Him, he turneth aside the vail until his coming out; and he hath come out and hath spoken unto the sons of Israel that which he is commanded;

³⁵Ary hitan'ny Zanak'Isiraely ny tavan'i Mosesy, fa, indro, namirapiratra ny hoditry ny tavany; dia nasaron'i Mosesy ny tavany indray ny fisalobonana mandra-pidiny hiteny aminy indray.

³⁵and the sons of Israel have seen the face of Moses that the skin of the face of Moses hath shone, and Moses hath put back the vail on his face until his going in to speak with Him.
