1Lo, My servant, I take hold on him, My chosen one — My soul hath accepted, I have put My Spirit upon him, Judgment to nations he bringeth forth.
2Tsy hiantsoantso Izy, na hanandratra ny feony, na hanao izay handrenesana ny feony eny an-dalana.
2He doth not cry, nor lift up, Nor cause his voice to be heard, in the street.
3Tsy hotapahiny ny volotara torotoro, ary tsy hovonoiny ny lahin-jiro manetona; Hamoaka izay tena rariny tokoa Izy.
3A bruised reed he breaketh not, And dim flax he quencheth not, To truth he bringeth forth judgment.

4He doth not become weak nor bruised, Till he setteth judgment in the earth, And for his law isles wait with hope.
5Izao no lazain'i Jehovah Andriamanitra, Izay nahary ny lanitra sy nanenjana azy, Izay namelatra ny tany sy ny vokatra avy aminy, Izay manome fofonaina ny olona eo aminy sy fanahy ho an'izay mandeha eo aminy:
5Thus said God, Jehovah, preparing The heavens, and stretching them out, Spreading out the earth and its productions, Giving breath to the people on it, And spirit to those walking in it.
6Izaho Jehovah efa niantso Anao tamin'ny fahamarinana sy nitantana ny tananao, Ary hiaro Anao Aho ka hanome Anao ho fanekena ho an'ny olona, Ho fanazavana ny jentilisa,
6I, Jehovah, did call thee in righteousness, And I lay hold on thy hand, and keep thee, And I give thee for a covenant of a people, And a light of nations.
7Hampahiratra ny mason'ny jamba, hamoaka ny mpifatotra hiala ao an-trano-maizina ary izay mipetraka ao amin'ny maizina hiala ao an-trano famatorana.
7To open the eyes of the blind, To bring forth from prison the bound one, From the house of restraint those sitting in darkness.
8Izaho no Jehovah, izany no anarako, ka ny voninahitro tsy homeko ny hafa, na ny fiderana Ahy ho an'ny sarin-javatra voasokitra.
8I [am] Jehovah, this [is] My name, And Mine honour to another I give not, Nor My praise to graven images.
9Ny amin'ny zavatra taloha, dia indreo, efa miseho; Ary zava-baovao kosa no toriko izao; Na dia tsy mbola miposaka aza ireny, dia ambarako aminareo.
9The former things, lo, have come, And new things I am declaring, Before they spring up I cause you to hear.
10Hianareo izay midina any amin'ny ranomasina sy ny ao aminy rehetra, dia ianareo nosy sy ny mponina ao aminy, samia mihira fihiram-baovao ho an'i Jehovah, dia ny fiderana Azy hatramin'ny faran'ny tany.
10Sing to Jehovah a new song, His praise from the end of the earth, Ye who are going down to the sea, and its fulness, Isles, and their inhabitants.
11Aoka ny efitra sy ireo tanàna eny aminy hanandratra ny feony, dia ny vohitra izay onenan'i Kedara; Aoka hihoby ny mponina any Sela; Ary aoka hanao feo avo any an-tampon'ny tendrombohitra izy.[Na: any amin'ny harambato]
11The wilderness and its cities do lift up [the voice], The villages Kedar doth inhabit, Sing do the inhabitants of Sela, From the top of mountains they cry.
12Aoka hanome voninahitra an'i Jehovah izy Ary hitory ny fiderana Azy any amin'ny nosy.
12They ascribe to Jehovah honour, And His praise in the isles they declare.
13Jehovah mivoaka tahaka ny lehilahy mahery, tahaka ny fanaon'ny mpiady no amohazany ny fahatezerany; Miantsoantso Izy, eny, mihiaka mafy; Mampiseho hery haharesy ny fahavalony Izy.[Na: fahasaro-piarony]
13Jehovah as a mighty one goeth forth. As a man of war He stirreth up zeal, He crieth, yea, He shrieketh, Against His enemies He showeth Himself mighty.
14Efa tsy niteny Aho hatrizay hatrizay, nangina ihany Aho ka nanindry fo; Fa izao Aho dia mitaraina tahaka ny vehivavy raha miteraka, eny, miehakehaka tsy avy miaina.
14I have kept silent from of old, I keep silent, I refrain myself, As a travailing woman I cry out, I desolate and swallow up together.
15Hataoto mariry ny tendrombohitra sy ny havoana, hataoko maina ny ahitra rehetra ao aminy, ary ny ony ho tonga nosy, Ary hataoko tankina ny farihy.
15I make waste mountains and hills, And all their herbs I dry up, And I have made rivers become isles, And ponds I dry up.
16Hitarika ny jamba amin'izay lalana tsy fantany Aho; ary amin'ny lalana tsy fantany no hitondrako azy; Ny maizina dia hataoko mazava eo anoloany, ary ny mikitoantoana halamako tsara; Izany zavatra izany no hataoko aminy ka tsy hamelako.
16And I have caused the blind to go, In a way they have not known, In paths they have not known I cause them to tread, I make a dark place before them become light, And unlevelled places become a plain, These [are] the things I have done to them, And I have not forsaken them.
17Hihemotra sady ho menatra tokoa izay matoky ny sarin-javatra voasokitra, dia izay manao amin'ny sarin-javatra an-idina hoe: Hianareo no andriamanitray.
17Removed backward — utterly ashamed, Are those trusting in a graven image, Those saying to a molten image, `Ye [are] our gods.`
18Mihainoa ianareo, ry marenina; Ary mijere, ry jamba, mba hahita.
18Ye deaf, hear; and ye blind, look to see.
19Iza no jamba, afa-tsy ny mpanompoko? Ary iza no marenina tahaka ny iraka izay irahiko? Iza no jamba tahaka ny sakaizan'i Jehovah, ary jamba tahaka ny mpanompony?
19Who [is] blind but My servant? And deaf as My messenger I send? Who [is] blind as he who is at peace, Yea, blind, as the servant of Jehovah?
20Mahita zavatra maro ianao, nefa tsy mitandrina; Manongilana ny sofiny izy, nefa tsy mihaino.
20Seeing many things, and thou observest not, Opening ears, and he heareth not.
21Sitrak'i Jehovah noho ny fahamarinany ny hahalehibe ny lalàna sy ny hahabe voninahitra azy.
21Jehovah hath delight for the sake of His righteousness, He magnifieth law, and maketh honourable.
22Kanefa ity dia firenena nobaboina sy norobaina; Voafandrika ao an-davaka avokoa izy rehetra ary voàfina ao an-trano-maizina; Voababo izy, ka tsy misy mamonjy; Voasambotra izy, ka tsy misy manao hoe: Ampodio.
22And this [is] a people seized and spoiled, Snared in holes — all of them, And in houses of restraint they were hidden, They have been for a prey, And there is no deliverer, A spoil, and none is saying, `Restore.`
23Iza aminareo no hihaino iza-ny? Iza no handre, dia hitandrina izany amin'ny andro ho avy?
23Who among you giveth ear [to] this? Attendeth, and heareth afterwards.
24Iza no nanolotra an'i Jakoba hosamborina, ary Isiraely ho an'ny mpamabo? Tsy Jehovah, Izay efa nanotantsika va? Satria tsy nety nandeha tamin'ny lalany ireo, sady tsy nety nihaino ny lalàny;Ka dia nalatsany taminy ny firehitry ny fahatezerany sy ny halozan'ny ady; Dia nampirehitra azy manodidina izany nefa tsy fantany; Ary nandoro azy, nefa tsy noheverin'ny fony
24Who hath given Jacob for a spoil, And Israel to the spoilers? Is it not Jehovah — He against whom we sinned? Yea, they have not been willing in His ways to walk, Nor have they hearkened to His law.
25Ka dia nalatsany taminy ny firehitry ny fahatezerany sy ny halozan'ny ady; Dia nampirehitra azy manodidina izany nefa tsy fantany; Ary nandoro azy, nefa tsy noheverin'ny fony
25And He poureth on him fury, His anger, and the strength of battle, And it setteth him on fire round about, And he hath not known, And it burneth against him, and he layeth it not to heart!
