¹And the heads of the fathers of the Levites draw nigh unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel,

²ka niteny taminy tao Silo tao amin'ny tany Kanana hoe: Jehovah efa nampandidy an'i Mosesy mba homena tanàna hitoerana izahay sy tany manodidina azy ho an'ny biby fiompinay.

²and they speak unto them in Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, saying, `Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses to give to us cities to dwell in, and their suburbs for our cattle.`

³Dia avy tamin'ny lovany no nanomezan'ny Zanak'Isiraely ny Levita izao tanàna izao sy ny tany manodidina azy avy araka ny didin'i Jehovah.

³And the sons of Israel give to the Levites, out of their inheritance, at the command of Jehovah, these cities and their suburbs:

⁴Dia nahazo loka ny fokon'ny Kehatita; ary ny loka azon'ny taranak'i Arona mpisorona isan'ny Levita dia tanàna telo ambin'ny folo, avy tamin'ny firenen'i Joda sy ny firenen'i Simeona ary ny firenen'i Benjamina.

⁴And the lot goeth out for the families of the Kohathite, and there are for the sons of Aaron the priest (of the Levites), out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, by lot thirteen cities,

⁵Ary ny loka azon'ny taranak'i Kehata sisa dia tanàna folo, avy tamin'ny fokon'ny firenen'i Efraima sy ny firenen'i Dana ary ny antsasaky ny firenen'i Manase.

⁵and for the sons of Kohath who are left, out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities:

⁶Ary ny loka azon'ny taranak'i Gersona dia tanàna telo ambin'ny folo, avy tamin'ny fokon'ny firenen'Isakara sy ny firenen'i Asera sy ny firenen'i Naftaly ary tamin'ny antsasaky ny firenen'i Manase any Basana.

⁶And for the sons of Gershon [are], out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, by lot, thirteen cities.

⁷Ary ny loka azon'ny taranak'i Merary isam-pokony dia tanàna roa ambin'ny folo, avy tamin'ny firenen'i Robena sy ny firenen'i Gada ary ny firenen'i Zebolona.

⁷For the sons of Merari, for their families, [are], out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

⁸Dia nomen'ny Zanak'Isiraely ny Levita tamin'ny filokana ireo tanàna ireo sy ny tany manodidina azy avy, araka izay nasain'i Jehovah nandidian'i Mosesy.

⁸And the sons of Israel give to the Levites these cities and their suburbs, as Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses, by lot.

⁹Dia nomeny avy tamin'ny firenena taranak'i Joda sy ny firenena taranak'i Simeona ireto tanàna hotononina ireto,

⁹And they give out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, these cities which are called by name;

¹⁰izay azon'ny taranak'i Arona, isam-pokon'ny taranak'i Kehata. amin'ny taranak'i Levy; fa azy ny loka voalohany.

¹⁰and they are for the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathite, of the sons of Levi, for theirs hath been the first lot;

¹¹Dia nomeny azy ny tanànan'i Arba, rain'i Anàka (Hebrona izany), any amin'ny tany havoan'i Joda, mbamin'ny tany manodidina azy. [Kiriat-arba; izahao XV. 54]

¹¹and they give to them the city of Arba father of Anak (it [is] Hebron), in the hill-country of Judah, and its suburbs round about it;

¹²Fa ny saha momba ny tanàna sy ny zana-bohiny dia nomeny ho lovan'i Kaleba, zanak'i Jefone.

¹²and the field of the city and its villages they have given to Caleb son of Jephunneh for his possession.

¹³Dia nomeny ny taranak'i Arona mpisorona Hebrona sy ny tany manodidina azy, ho tanàna fandosirana ho an'izay nahafaty olona, ary Libna sy ny tany manodidina azy

¹³And to the sons of Aaron the priest they have given the city of refuge [for] the man-slayer, Hebron and its suburbs, and Libnah and its suburbs,

¹⁴ary Jatira sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Estemoa sy ny tany manodidina azy,

¹⁴and Jattir and its suburbs, and Eshtemoa and its suburbs,

¹⁵ary Holona sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Debira sy ny tany manodidina azy,

¹⁵and Holon and its suburbs, and Debir and its suburbs,

¹⁶ary Aina sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Jota sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Beti-semesy sy ny tany manodidina azy: tanàna sivy avy tamin'ireo firenena roa ireo;

¹⁶and Ain and its suburbs, and Juttah and its suburbs, Beth-Shemesh and its suburbs; nine cities out of these two tribes.

¹⁷ary avy tamin'ny firenen'i Benjamina dia Gibeona sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Geba sy ny tany manodidina azy

¹⁷And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon and its suburbs, Geba and its suburbs,

¹⁸ary Anatota sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Almona sy ny tany manodidina azy, dia tanàna efatra.

¹⁸Anathoth and its suburbs, and Almon and its suburbs — four cities;

¹⁹Ny tanàna rehetra an'ny mpisorona, taranak'i Arona, dia telo ambin'ny folo ary ny tany manodidina azy avy.

¹⁹all the cities of the sons of Aaron the priests, [are] thirteen cities and their suburbs.

²⁰Ary ny amin'ny taranak'i Rehata, dia ny Levita sisa tamin'ny taranak'i Kehata, ny tanàna azony tamin'ny filokana dia avy tamin'ny firenen'i Efraima.

²⁰And for the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, who are left of the sons of Kohath, even the cities of their lot are of the tribe of Ephraim;

²¹Dia nomeny azy Sekema sy ny tany manodidina azy any amin'ny tany havoan'i Efraima, ho tanàna fandosirana ho an'izay nahafaty olona, ary Gazera sy ny tany manodidina azy

²¹and they give to them the city of refuge [for] the man-slayer, Shechem and its suburbs, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Gezer and its suburbs,

²²ary Kibzaima sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Beti-horona sy ny tany manodidina azy: tanàna efatra;

²²and Kibzaim and its suburbs, and Beth-Horon and its suburbs — four cities.

²³ary avy tamin'ny firenen'i Dana dia Elteke sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Gibetona sy ny tany manodidina azy.

²³And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh and its suburbs, Gibbethon and its suburbs,

²⁴ary Aialona sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Gata-rimona sy ny tany manodidina azy: tanàna efatra;

²⁴Aijalon and its suburbs, Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs — four cities.

²⁵ary avy tamin'ny antsasaky ny firenen'i Manase dia Tanaka sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Gata-rimona sy ny tany tany manodidina azy: tanàna roa.

²⁵And out of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and its suburbs, and Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs — two cities;

²⁶Ny tanàna rehetra azon'ny fokon'ny taranak'i Kehata sisa dia folo ary ny tany manodidina azy avy.

²⁶all the cities [are] ten and their suburbs, for the families of the sons of Kohath who are left.

²⁷Ary izao no azon'ny taranak'i Gersona isan'ny fokon'ny Levita; avy tamin'ny antsasaky ny firenen'i Manase dia Golana any Basana sy ny tany manodidina azy, ho tanàna fandosirana ho an'izay nahafaty olona, ary Bestera sy ny tany manodidina azy, dia tanàna roa;

²⁷And for the sons of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, the city of refuge [for] the man-slayer, Golan in Bashan and its suburbs, and Beeshterah and its suburbs — two cities.

²⁸And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon and its suburbs, Dabarath and its suburbs,

²⁹ary Jarmota sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Enganima sy ny tany manodidina azy, dia tanàna efatra;

²⁹Jarmuth and its suburbs, En-Gannim and its suburbs — four cities.

³⁰ary avy tamin'ny firenen'i Asera dia Misala sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Abdona sy ny tany manodidina azy

³⁰And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal and its suburbs, Abdon and its suburbs,

³¹ary Helkata sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Rehoba sy ny ràny manodidina azy, dia tanàna efatra;

³¹Helkath and its suburbs, and Rehob and its suburbs — four cities.

³²ary avy tamin'ny firenen'i Naftaly dia Kadesy any Galilia sy ny tany manodidina azy, ho tanàna fandosirana ho an'izay nahafaty olona, ary Hamota dora sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Kanana sy ny tany manodidina azy. dia tanàna telo.

³²And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the city of refuge [for] the man-slayer, Kedesh in Galilee and its suburbs, and Hammoth-Dor and its suburbs, and Kartan and its suburbs — three cities;

³³Ny tanàna rehetra an'ny Gersonita isam-potony dia telo ambin'ny folo ary ny tany manodidina azy avy.

³³all the cities of the Gershonite, for their families, [are] thirteen cities and their suburbs.

³⁴Ary izao no azon'ny fokon'ny taranak'i Merary, izay Levita sisa: avy tamin'ny firenen'i Zebolona dia Jokneama sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Karta sy ny tany manodidina azy,

³⁴And for the families of the sons of Merari, the Levites, who are left, [are,] out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam and its suburbs, Kartah and its suburbs,

³⁵ary Dimna sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Nahalola sy ny tany manodidina azy, dia tanàna efatra;

³⁵Dimnah and its suburbs, Nahalal and its suburbs — four cities.

³⁶ary avy tamin'ny firenen'i Robena dia Bezera sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Jahaza sy ny tany manodidina azy,

³⁶And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer and its suburbs, and Jahazah and its suburbs,

³⁷ary Kedemota sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Mefata sy ny tany manodidina azy, dia tanàna efatra;

³⁷Kedemoth and its suburbs, and Mephaath and its suburbs — four cities.

³⁸ary avy tamin'ny firenen'i Gada dia Ramota any Gileada sy ny tany manodidina azy, ho tanàna fandosirana ho an'izay nahafaty olona, ary Mahanaima sy ny tany manodidina azy

³⁸And out of the tribe of Gad, the city of refuge [for] the man-slayer, Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs, and Mahanaim and its suburbs,

³⁹ary Hesbona sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Jazera sy ny tany manodidina azy, dia tanàna efatra izy rehetra.

³⁹Heshbon and its suburbs, Jazer and its suburbs — [in] all four cities.

⁴⁰Ny tanàna rehetra an'ny taranak'i Merary araka ny fokony, izay sisa tamin'ny fokon'ny Levita, dia tanàna roa ambin'ny folo no loka azony.

⁴⁰All the cities for the sons of Merari, for their families, who are left of the families of the Levites — their lot is twelve cities.

⁴¹Ny tanàna rehetra an'ny Levita teo anatin'ny lovan'ny Zanak'Isiraely dia valo amby efa-polo sy ny tany manodidina azy avy.

⁴¹All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel [are] forty and eight cities, and their suburbs.

⁴²Ireo tanàna ireo samy manana ny taniny manodidina azy avy; tahaka izany avokoa ireo tanàna rehetra ireo.

⁴²These cities are each city and its suburbs round about it; so to all these cities.

⁴³[Ny nahatanterahana ny teny rehetra nataon'Andriamanitra tamin'ny Isiraely] Dia nomen'i Jehovah ny Isiraely ny tany rehetra izay efa nianianany homena ny razany; ary nandova izany izy ireo ka nonina teo,

⁴³And Jehovah giveth to Israel the whole of the land which He hath sworn to give to their fathers, and they possess it, and dwell in it;

⁴⁴Dia nomen'i Jehovah fitsaharana amin'ny manodidina izy, araka izay rehetra nianiananany tamin'ny razany, ka tsy nisy lehilahy tamin'ny fahavalony rehetra nahajanona teo anoloany; fa natolotr'i Jehovah teo an-tànany avokoa ny fahavalony rehetra.Tsy nisy latsata na dia kely akory aza ny zava-tsoa rehetra izay nolazain'i Jehovah tamin'ny taranak'Isiraely; fa tanteraka avokoa izany rehetra izany.

⁴⁴and Jehovah giveth rest to them round about, according to all that which He hath sworn to their fathers, and there hath not stood a man in their presence of all their enemies, the whole of their enemies hath Jehovah given into their hand;

⁴⁵Tsy nisy latsata na dia kely akory aza ny zava-tsoa rehetra izay nolazain'i Jehovah tamin'ny taranak'Isiraely; fa tanteraka avokoa izany rehetra izany.

⁴⁵there hath not fallen a thing of all the good thing which Jehovah spake unto the house of Israel — the whole hath come.
