¹`And when a person doth sin, and hath heard the voice of an oath, and he [is] witness, or hath seen, or hath known — if he declare not, then he hath borne his iniquity:

²na misy mikasika izay zavatra tsy madio, na ny fatin'ny bibi-dia tsy madio, na ny fatin'ny biby fiompy izay tsy madio, na ny fatin'ny biby mandady na mikisaka izay tsy madio, nefa tsy hitany izany, ka mahaloto sy mahameloka azy izany,

²`Or when a person cometh against any thing unclean, or against a carcase of an unclean beast, or against a carcase of unclean cattle, or against a carcase of an unclean teeming creature, and it hath been hidden from him, and he unclean, and guilty;

³na misy mikasika ny fahalotoan'olona, dia izay fahalotoany rehetra na inona na inona, nefa tsy hitany izany, rehefa fantany izany, ka mahameloka azy,

³`Or when he cometh against uncleanness of man, even any of his uncleanness whereby he is unclean, and it hath been hidden from him, and he hath known, and hath been guilty:

⁴na misy mianiana ka miteniteny foana amin'ny molotra hanao ratsy na hanao soa, na inona na inona tenitenenin'ny olona foana ka asiany fianianana, nefa tsy hitany izany, rehefa fantany, ka meloka amin'ny anankiray amin'ireo izy:

⁴`Or when a person sweareth, speaking wrongfully with the lips to do evil, or to do good, even anything which man speaketh wrongfully with an oath, and it hath been hid from him; — when he hath known then he hath been guilty of one of these;

⁵koa raha meloka amin'ny anankiray amin'ireo izy, dia hiaiky izay zavatra nanotany,

⁵`And it hath been when he is guilty of one of these, that he hath confessed concerning that which he hath sinned,

⁶ary hitondra ny saziny ho an'i Jehovah noho ny fahotany izay nataony izy, dia ondrivavy na osivavy, nefa izay vantony, ho fanatitra noho ny ota; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny fahotany.

⁶and hath brought in his guilt-offering to Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female out of the flock, a lamb, or a kid of the goats, for a sin-offering, and the priest hath made atonement for him, because of his sin.

⁷Ary raha tsy tratry ny ananany izany, dia hitondra domohina roa na zana-boromailala roa ho an'i Jehovah izy ho saziny noho ny nanotany; ka ny anankiray hatao fanatitra noho ny ota, ary ny anankiray kosa hatao fanatitra dorana.

⁷`And if his hand reach not to the sufficiency of a lamb, then he hath brought in his guilt-offering — he who hath sinned — two turtle-doves or two young pigeons to Jehovah, one for a sin-offering, and one for a burnt-offering;

⁸Dia hitondra ireo ho eo amin'ny mpisorona izy, ary ny mpisorona kosa hanatitra ny iray aloha ho fanatitra noho ny ota, ka hotapahiny amin'ny hoho ny lohany ho afaka amin'ny vozony, fa tsy hohenteriny izy.

⁸and he hath brought them in unto the priest, and hath brought near that which [is] for a sin-offering first, and hath wrung off its head from its neck, and doth not separate [it],

⁹Ary hamafazany eo amin'ny rindrin'ny alitara ny ran'ny fanatitra noho ny ota; ary ny rà sisa hofiazany eo ambodin'ny alitara; dia fanatitra noho ny ota izany.

⁹and he hath sprinkled of the blood of the sin-offering on the side of the altar, and that which is left of the blood is wrung out at the foundation of the altar; it [is] a sin-offering.

¹⁰Ary ny iray kosa dia hataony fanatitra dorana, araka ny fanao; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny fahotany izay nataony, dia havela ny helony.

¹⁰`And the second he maketh a burnt-offering, according to the ordinance, and the priest hath made atonement for him, because of his sin which he hath sinned, and it hath been forgiven him.

¹¹Fa raha tsy tratry ny ananany koa ny domohina roa na ny zana-boromailala roa, dia hitondra ny fanatiny noho ny fahotany izy, dia koba tsara toto ampahafolon'ny efaha ho fanatitra noho ny ota; tsy hasiany diloilo izany, ary tsy hasiany ditin-kazo mani-pofona, fa fanatitra noho ny ota izany.

¹¹`And if his hand reach not to two turtle-doves, or to two young pigeons, then he hath brought in his offering — he who hath sinned — a tenth of an ephah of flour for a sin-offering; he putteth no oil on it, nor doth he put on it frankincense, for it [is] a sin-offering,

¹²and he hath brought it in unto the priest, and the priest hath taken a handful from it — the fulness of his hand — its memorial — and hath made perfume on the altar, according to the fire-offerings of Jehovah; it [is] a sin-offering.

¹³`And the priest hath made atonement for him, for his sin which he hath sinned against one of these, and it hath been forgiven him, and [the remnant] hath been to the priest, like the present.`

¹⁴[Ny fanati-panonerana] Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:

¹⁴And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹⁵Raha misy olona manao izay mahadiso ka manota tsy nahy ny amin'ny zava-masin'i Jehovah, dia hitondra ny fanati-panonerany ho an'i Jehovah izy, dia ondrilahy tsy misy kilema, koa sekely volafotsy no anombananao azy, araka ny sekely masina, ho fanati-panonerana.

¹⁵`When a person committeth a trespass, and hath sinned through ignorance against the holy things of Jehovah, then he hath brought in his guilt-offering to Jehovah, a ram, a perfect one, out of the flock, at thy valuation [in] silver — shekels by the shekel of the sanctuary — for a guilt-offering.

¹⁶Ary izay efa nanotany ny amin'ny zava-masina dia honerany, ary hampiany ho tonga avy fahenina ka hatolony amin'ny mpisorona; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy amin'ny ondrilahy atao fanati-panonerana, dia havela ny helony.

¹⁶`And that which he hath sinned against the holy thing he repayeth, and its fifth is adding to it, and hath given it to the priest, and the priest maketh atonement for him with the ram of the guilt-offering, and it hath been forgiven him.

¹⁷Ary raha misy olona manota, satria manao izay tsy tokony hatao ka mandika ny anankiray amin'ny didin'i Jehovah, nefa tsy fantany izany, ka mahameloka azy, ary mitondra ny helony izy,

¹⁷`And when any person sinneth, and hath done [something against] one of all the commands of Jehovah [regarding things] which are not to be done, and hath not known, and he hath been guilty, and hath borne his iniquity,

¹⁸dia hitondra ondrilahy tsy misy kilema izy, araka ny anombananao azy, ho fanati-panonerana ho any amin'ny mpisorona; ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy noho ny ota tsy nahy izay nahadiso azy, nefa tsy fantany, dia havela ny helony;

¹⁸`Then he hath brought in a ram, a perfect one, out of the flock, at thy valuation, for a guilt-offering, unto the priest; and the priest hath made atonement for him, for his ignorance in which he hath erred and he hath not known, and it hath been forgiven him;

¹⁹dia fanati-panonerana izany, fa efa meloka tamin'i Jehovah tokoa izy.

¹⁹it [is] a guilt-offering; he hath been certainly guilty before Jehovah.`

²⁰Ary Jehovah niteny tamin'i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:

²¹Raha misy olona manota, satria manao izay mahadiso amin'i Jehovah, fa mandainga amin'ny namany ny amin'izay nampitehirizina azy, na amin'ny zavatra notanany ho tsatòka, na amin'izay nalainy an-keriny, na ota nampahory ny namany,

²²na nahita izay zavatra very ka mandainga amin'izany sady mianian-tsy tò ny amin'izay mety ho fahotan'ny olona,

²³satria nanota izy ka meloka, dia hanonitra izay nalainy an-keriny, na izay tamin'ny fampahoriana, na izay nampitehirizina azy, na izay zavatra very hitany,

²⁴na izay rehetra nianianany tsy tò; dia hanonitra toraka izany izy sady hanampy azy koa ho tonga avy fahenina, ka homeny ilay tompon-javatra amin'ny andro anaterany ny fanati-panonerany izany.

²⁵Ary ny fanati-panonerana ho entiny ho an'i Jehovah dia ondrilahy tsy misy kilema, araka ny anombananao azy, ho fanati-panonerana ho any amin'ny mpisorona.Ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy eo anatrehan'i Jehovah, dia havela ny helony na inona na inona no fahadisoana nataony.
