¹And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

²Manaova trompetra volafotsy roa ho anao; voasana no hanaovanao azy; dia ho fiantsoanao ny fiangonana sy ho fampiainganao ny toby ireo.

²`Make to thee two trumpets of silver; beaten work thou dost make them, and they have been to thee for the convocation of the company, and for the journeying of the camps;

³Ary raha tsofina avokoa ireo, dia hivory eo aminao, eo anoloan'ny varavaran'ny trano-lay fihaonana, ny fiangonana rehetra.

³and they have blown with them, and all the company have met together unto thee, unto the opening of the tent of meeting.

⁴Fa raha ny iray ihany no tsofina, dia ny lohan'ny firenena, izay mpifehy arivo amin'ny Isiraely, ihany no hivory eo aminao.

⁴And if with one they blow, then have the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, met together unto thee;

⁵Fa raha mitsoka ho fampitairana ianareo, dia hiainga ny toby izay mitoetra eo atsinanana.

⁵`And ye have blown — a shout, and the camps which are encamping eastward have journeyed.

⁶Ary raha mitsoka ho fampitairana fanindroany ianareo, dia hiainga ny toby izay mitoetra eo atsimo; fampitairana no hatao fiaingany.

⁶`And ye have blown — a second shout, and the camps which are encamping southward have journeyed; a shout they blow for their journeys.

⁷Fa raha hampivory ny fiangonana kosa ianareo, dia hitsoka fotsiny, fa tsy hanao fampitairana.

⁷`And in the assembling of the assembly ye blow, and do not shout;

⁸Ary ireo mpisorona, zanak'i Arona, no hitsoka ny trompetra; dia ho lalàna mandrakizay ho anareo hatramin'ny taranakareo fara mandimby izany.

⁸and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been to you for a statute age-during to your generations.

⁹Ary raha misy ady eo amin'ny taninareo, ka mandeha hiady amin'ny fahavalo izay mampahory anareo ianareo, dia hitsoka ireo trompetra ireo ho fampitairana, dia hotsarovana eo anatrehan'i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo ianareo ka hovonjena amin'ny fahavalonareo.

⁹`And when ye go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then ye have shouted with the trumpets, and ye have been remembered before Jehovah your God, and ye have been saved from your enemies.

¹⁰Ary amin'ny andro fifalianareo, sy amin'ny fotoam-pivavahanareo, ary amin'ny voaloham-bolanareo no hitsofanareo ny trompetra, raha manao ny fanatitra doranareo sy ny fanati-pihavananareo; dia ho fahatsiarovana ho anareo izany eo anatrehan'Andriamanitrareo: Izaho Jehovah no Andriamanitrareo.

¹⁰`And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed seasons, and in the beginnings of your months, ye have blown also with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been to you for a memorial before your God; I, Jehovah, [am] your God.`

¹¹[Ny niaingan'ny Zanak'Isiraely niala tany an-efitr'i Sinay, sy ny teny nataon'i Mosesy tamin i Hobaba. Ary tamin'ny andro faharoa-polo tamin'ny volana faharoa, tamin'ny taona faharoa, no niakaran'ny rahona niala teo ambonin'ny tabernakelin'ny Vavolombelona.

¹¹And it cometh to pass — in the second year, in the second month, in the twentieth of the month — the cloud hath gone up from off the tabernacle of the testimony,

¹²Dia niainga tany an-efitr'i Sinay ny Zanak'Isiraely ka nandroso, ary ny rahona nijanona tany an-efitra Parana.

¹²and the sons of Israel journey in their journeyings from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud doth tabernacle in the wilderness of Paran;

¹³Dia izany no niaingany voalohany araka ny didin'i Jehovah izay nampitondrainy an'i Mosesy.

¹³and they journey at first, by the command of Jehovah, in the hand of Moses.

¹⁴Ary ny fanevan'ny tobin'ny taranak'i Joda no niainga voalohany araka ny antokony, ary Nasona, zanak'i Aminadaba, no mpifehy ny antokony.

¹⁴And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeyeth in the first [place], by their hosts, and over its host [is] Nahshon son of Amminadab.

¹⁵Ary Netanela, zanak'i Zoara, no mpifehy ny antokon'ny firenena taranak'Isakara.

¹⁵And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [is] Nathaneel son of Zuar.

¹⁶Ary Eliaba, zanak'i Helona, no mpifehy ny antokon'ny firenena taranak'i Zebolona.

¹⁶And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon;

¹⁷Dia nahorona ny tabernakely, ka niainga ny taranak'i Gersona sy ny taranak'i Merary, nitondra ny tabernakely.

¹⁷And the tabernacle hath been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, bearing the tabernacle.

¹⁸Dia niainga ny fanevan'ny tobin'i Robena araka ny antokony; ary Elizora, zanak'i Sedeora, no mpifehy ny antokony.

¹⁸And the standard of the camp of Reuben hath journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elizur son of Shedeur.

¹⁹Ary Selomiela, zanak'i Zorisaday, no mpifehy ny antokon'ny firenena taranak'i Simeona.

¹⁹And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

²⁰Ary Eliasafa, zanak'i Doela, no mpifehy ny antokon'ny firenena taranak'i Gada.

²⁰And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Deuel;

²¹Dia niainga ny Kehatita, mitondra ny zava-masina; ary nisy nanangana ny tabernakely mandra-pihaviny.

²¹And the Kohathites have journeyed, bearing the tabernacle, and the [others] have raised up the tabernacle until their coming in.

²²Dia niainga ny fanevan'ny tobin'ny taranak'i Efraima, araka ny antokony; ary Elisama, zanak'i Amihoda, no mpifehy ny antokony.

²²And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim hath journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elishama son of Ammihud.

²³Ary Gamaliela, zanak'i Pedazora, no mpifehy ny antokon'ny firenena taranak'i Manase.

²³And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamalial son of Pedahzur.

²⁴Ary Abidana, zanak'i Gideony, no mpifehy ny firenena taranak'i Benjamina.

²⁴And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni.

²⁵Dia niainga ny fanevan'ny tobin'ny taranak'i Dana, izay vodi-lalan'ny toby rehetra, araka ny antokony; ary Ahiezera, zanak'i Amisaday, no mpifehy ny antokony.

²⁵And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan hath journeyed (rearward to all the camps), by their hosts, and over its host [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

²⁶Ary Pagiela, zanak'i Okrana, no mpifehy ny antokon'ny firenena taranak'i Asera.

²⁶And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran.

²⁷Ary Ahira, zanak'i Enana, no mpifehy ny antokon'ny firenena taranak'i Naftaly.

²⁷And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan.

²⁸Izany no fandehan'ny Zanak'Isiraely, araka ny antokony avy, raha niainga izy.

²⁸These [are] journeyings of the sons of Israel by their hosts — and they journey.

²⁹Dia hoy Mosesy tamin'i Hobaba, zanak'i Regoela Midianita, rafozan'i Mosesy: Izahay izao dia mandeha hankany amin'ny tany izay nolazain'i Jehovah hoe: Homeko anareo izy; andeha hiaraka aminay ianao, dia hasianay soa; fa Jehovah efa nilaza soa ny amin'ny Isiraely.

²⁹And Moses saith to Hobab son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses, `We are journeying unto the place of which Jehovah hath said, I give it to you; go with us, and we have done good to thee; for Jehovah hath spoken good concerning Israel.`

³⁰Fa hoy kosa izy taminy: Tsy handeha aho; fa hody any amin'ny taniko sy ny havako.

³⁰And he saith unto him, `I do not go; but unto my land and unto my kindred do I go.`

³¹Dia hoy Mosesy: Aza dia ilaozanao izahay; fa fantatrao izay tokony hitobianay atỳ an-efitra, ka dia ho masonay ianao.

³¹And he saith, `I pray thee, forsake us not, because thou hast known our encamping in the wilderness, and thou hast been to us for eyes;

³²Ary raha hiaraka aminay ianao, dia izay soa hataon'i Jehovah aminay no mba hataonay aminao kosa.

³²and it hath come to pass when thou goest with us, yea, it hath come to pass — that good which Jehovah doth kindly with us — it we have done kindly to thee.`

³³Dia niainga niala tany an-tendrombohitr'i Jehovah lalan-kateloana izy; ary ny fiaran'ny faneken'i Jehovah nandroso nialoha azy lalan-kateloana hitady fialan-tsasatra ho an'ny olona.

³³And they journey from the mount of Jehovah a journey of three days; and the ark of the covenant of Jehovah is journeying before them the journey of three days, to spy out for them a resting-place;

³⁴Ary ny rahon'i Jehovah dia teo amboniny nony andro tamin'ny niaingany niala tamin'ny nitobiany.

³⁴and the cloud of Jehovah [is] on them by day, in their journeying from the camp.

³⁵Ary raha niainga ny fiara, dia hoy Mosesy: Mitsangàna, Jehovah ô, ka aoka hiely ny fahavalonao; ary aoka handositra ny tavanao izay mankahala Anao.Ary raha nijanona kosa ny fiara, dia hoy izy: Miverena, Jehovah ô, ho amin'ny Isiraely tsy omby alinalina.

³⁵And it cometh to pass in the journeying of the ark, that Moses saith, `Rise, O Jehovah, and Thine enemies are scattered, and those hating Thee flee from Thy presence.`

³⁶Ary raha nijanona kosa ny fiara, dia hoy izy: Miverena, Jehovah ô, ho amin'ny Isiraely tsy omby alinalina.

³⁶And in its resting he saith, `Return, O Jehovah, [to] the myriads, the thousands of Israel.`
