⁸ Wedi iddynt anfon a chasglu atynt holl arglwyddi'r Philistiaid, gofynasant, "Beth a wnawn ag arch Duw Israel?" Atebasant hwythau, "Aed arch Duw Israel draw i Gath." Felly aethant ag arch Duw Israel yno.

⁹ Ond wedi iddynt fynd � hi yno, bu llaw'r ARGLWYDD ar y ddinas a pheri difrod mawr iawn, trawyd pobl y ddinas yn hen ac ifainc, a thorrodd y cornwydydd allan arnynt hwythau.
