1¶ Na ka mea a Ihowa ki a Mohi, Haere, turia atu ki runga, koutou ko te iwi i kawea mai nei e koe i te whenua o Ihipa, ki te whenua i oati ai ahau ki a Aperahama, ki a Ihaka, ki a Hakopa, i mea ia, Ka hoatu e ahau ki ou uri:
1 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Dos gyda'r bobl a ddygaist allan o wlad yr Aifft, ac ewch i fyny oddi yma i'r wlad y tyngais wrth Abraham, Isaac a Jacob ei rhoi i'th ddisgynyddion.
2A ka unga he anahera e ahau ki mua i a koe, maku ano hoki e pei nga Kanaani, nga Amori, nga Hiti, nga Perihi, nga Hiwi, me nga Iepuhi:
2 Anfonaf angel o'th flaen, a gyrraf allan y Canaaneaid, Amoriaid, Hethiaid, Peresiaid, Hefiaid a Jebusiaid.
3Ki te whenua e rerengia ana e te waiu, e te honi: e kore hoki ahau e haere atu i roto i a koe; he iwi kaki maro hoki koe: kei pau koe i ahau ki te ara.
3 Dos i wlad yn llifeirio o laeth a m�l, ond ni fyddaf fi'n mynd i fyny gyda thi, rhag i mi dy ddifa ar y ffordd; oherwydd pobl wargaled ydych."
4A, i te rongonga o te iwi i tenei rongo kino, ka pouri, kihai ano i whakanohoia e tetahi ona whakapaipai.
4 Pan glywodd y bobl y newydd drwg hwn, dechreusant alaru, ac ni wisgodd neb ei dlysau,
5A i ki atu a Ihowa ki a Mohi, Mea atu ki nga tama a Iharaira, He iwi kaki maro koutou: kia mea kau ka puta atu ahau ki waenganui i a koe, a ka ngaro koe i ahau: na, whakarerea atu ou whakapaipai, a ka mohio ahau ki taku e mea ai ki a koe.
5 oherwydd yr oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi dweud wrth Moses, "Dywed wrth bobl Israel,
6Na i aurutia e nga tama a Iharaira o ratou whakapaipai i Maunga Horepa ahu atu.
6 'Pobl wargaled ydych; pe bawn yn mynd i fyny gyda chwi, gallwn eich difa'n ddirybudd. Tyn dy dlysau oddi arnat, ac fe benderfynaf beth i'w wneud � thi.'" Felly tynnodd pobl Israel eu tlysau ger Mynydd Horeb.

7 Arferai Moses gymryd pabell a'i gosod y tu allan i'r gwersyll, bellter oddi wrtho, ac fe'i galwodd yn babell y cyfarfod. Yr oedd pob un a fyddai'n ceisio'r ARGLWYDD yn mynd at babell y cyfarfod y tu allan i'r gwersyll.
8A, i a Mohi e haere ana ki te tapenakara ka whakatika te iwi katoa, a ka tu tera, tera, i te kuwaha o tona teneti, a ka titiro ki muri i a Mohi, a haere noa ia ki roto ki te tapenakara.
8 Pan fyddai Moses yn mynd allan at y babell, byddai'r bobl i gyd yn codi a phob un yn sefyll wrth ddrws ei babell ei hun, ac yn gwylio Moses nes iddo fynd i mewn.
9A, i a Mohi e haere ana ki roto ki te tapenakara, ka heke iho te pou kapuna, a tu ana i te whatitoka o te tapenakara, a ka korero a Ihowa ki a Mohi.
9 Pan fyddai Moses yn mynd i mewn i'r babell, byddai colofn o gwmwl yn disgyn ac yn aros wrth y drws, a byddai'r ARGLWYDD yn siarad � Moses.
10A ko te kitenga o te iwi katoa i te pou kapua e tu ana i te whatitoka o te tapenakara, na ka whakatika te iwi katoa, ka koropiko hoki ia tangata, ia tangata, i te whatitoka o tona teneti.
10 Pan welai'r holl bobl y golofn o gwmwl yn aros wrth ddrws y babell, byddai pob un ohonynt yn codi ac yn addoli wrth ddrws ei babell ei hun.
11Na ka korero a Ihowa ki a Mohi, he kanohi, he kanohi, pera hoki me te tangata e korero nei ki tona hoa. A hoki ana ia ki te puni: ko tana tangata ia, ko Hohua, tama a Nunu, kihai taua taitamariki i neke atu i roto i te tapenakara.
11 Byddai'r ARGLWYDD yn siarad � Moses wyneb yn wyneb, fel y bydd rhywun yn siarad �'i gyfaill. Pan ddychwelai Moses i'r gwersyll, ni fyddai ei was ifanc, Josua fab Nun, yn symud o'r babell.

12 Dywedodd Moses wrth yr ARGLWYDD, "Edrych, yr wyt yn dweud wrthyf am ddod �'r bobl hyn i fyny, ond nid wyt wedi rhoi gwybod i mi pwy yr wyt am ei anfon gyda mi. Dywedaist, 'Yr wyf yn dy ddewis di, a chefaist ffafr yn fy ngolwg.'
13Na, ki te mea kua manakohia ahau e koe, tena, whakaaturia mai ki ahau ou ara, kia mohio ai ahau ki a koe, kia manakohia ai ahau e koe; kia mahara hoki he iwi nau tenei iwi.
13 Yn awr, os cefais ffafr yn dy olwg, dangos i mi dy ffyrdd, er mwyn i mi dy adnabod ac aros yn dy ffafr; oherwydd dy bobl di yw'r genedl hon."
14Na ka mea ia, Ka haere atu toku aroaro, a ka mea ahau i a koe kia okioki.
14 Atebodd yntau, "Byddaf fi fy hun gyda thi, a rhoddaf iti orffwysfa."
15Na ka mea ia ki a ia, Ki te kahore tou aroaro e haere, kaua matou e kawea ki runga i konei.
15 Dywedodd Moses wrtho, "Os na fyddi di dy hun gyda mi, paid �'n harwain ni ymaith oddi yma.
16Ma te aha hoki e mohiotia ai kua manakohia matou ko tau iwi e koe? he teka ianei mau kia haere tahi i a matou? penei ka motuhia matou ko tau iwi i nga iwi katoa i te mata o te whenua.
16 Oherwydd sut y bydd neb yn gwybod fy mod i a'th bobl wedi cael ffafr yn dy olwg, os na fyddi'n mynd gyda ni? Dyna sy'n fy ngwneud i a'th bobl yn wahanol i bawb arall ar wyneb y ddaear."
17Na ka mea a Ihowa ki a Mohi, Ko tenei mea ano i korerotia mai na e koe, ka rite i ahau: no te mea e manakohia ana koe e ahau, a e mohio ana ahau ki a koe, ki tou ingoa hoki.
17 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Moses, "Fe wnaf yr hyn a ofynnaist, oherwydd cefaist ffafr yn fy ngolwg, ac yr wyf wedi dy ddewis."
18Na ka mea ia, Tena ra, whakakitea mai ki ahau tou kororia.
18 Meddai Moses, "Dangos i mi dy ogoniant."
19Na ka mea ia, Ka meatia e ahau toku pai katoa kia haere atu i tou aroaro, a ka karangatia e ahau te ingoa o Ihowa i tou aroaro, ka atawhai hoki ahau i taku e atawhai ai, ka tohu hoki i taku e tohu ai.
19 Dywedodd yntau, "Gwnaf i'm holl ddaioni fynd heibio o'th flaen, a chyhoeddaf fy enw, ARGLWYDD, yn dy glyw; a dangosaf drugaredd a thosturi tuag at y rhai yr wyf am drugarhau a thosturio wrthynt.
20I mea ano ia, E kore e taea e koe te titiro ki toku mata: e kore hoki tetahi tangata e titiro ki ahau, a e ora.
20 Ond," meddai, "ni chei weld fy wyneb, oherwydd ni chaiff neb fy ngweld a byw."
21I mea ano a Ihowa, Nana, he wahi tenei kei ahau, a me tu koe ki runga ki te kamaka:
21 Dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD hefyd, "Bydd lle yn fy ymyl; saf ar y graig,
22A, ka haere atu toku kororia, na, ka kawea koe e ahau ki roto ki te kapiti kohatu, a ka taupokina koe e ahau ki toku ringa, i ahau e haere atu ana:
22 a phan fydd fy ngogoniant yn mynd heibio, fe'th roddaf mewn hollt yn y graig a'th orchuddio �'m llaw nes imi fynd heibio;
23A ka tangohia e ahau toku ringa, a ka kite koe i muri oku: ko toku mata ia e kore e kitea.
23 yna tynnaf ymaith fy llaw, a chei weld fy nghefn, ond ni welir fy wyneb."
