1 Yn y dyddiau hynny nid oedd brenin yn Israel. Yr adeg honno yr oedd llwyth Dan yn chwilio am randir i fyw ynddo, oherwydd hyd hynny nid oeddent wedi cael rhandir ymhlith llwythau Israel.
2Na ka tono nga tamariki a Rana i etahi tangata tokorima o to ratou hapu, he hunga maia, i roto i o ratou rohe, i Toraha, i Ehetaoro, hei tutei i te whenua, hei titiro hoki: i mea hoki ki a ratou, Tikina, tirohia te whenua. 2 Anfonodd y Daniaid bump o ddynion teilwng ar ran y llwyth cyfan, i fynd o Sora ac Estaol i ysb�o'r wlad a'i chwilio. Wedi iddynt dderbyn y gorchymyn i fynd i chwilio'r wlad, aethant cyn belled � thu375? Mica ym mynydd-dir Effraim, a threulio'r nos yno.
3I a ratou i te whare o Mika, ka mohiotia e ratou te reo o taua taitamariki, o te Riwaiti: na peka ana ki reira, a ka mea ki a ia, Na wai koe i kawe mai ki konei? e aha ana hoki koe i konei? a he aha tau i konei?
3 Pan oeddent gerllaw tu375? Mica, dyma hwy'n adnabod llais y llanc o Lefiad; troesant i mewn a gofyn iddo, "Pwy ddaeth � thi yma? Beth wyt ti'n ei wneud yn y fan hon? Pa fusnes sydd gennyt yma?"
4Na ka mea ia ki a ratou, Ko nga mea tenei i meatia e Mika ki ahau; nana hoki ahau i utu, na hei tohunga ano ahau ki a ia.
4 Eglurodd sut yr oedd Mica wedi gweithredu gydag ef: "Y mae wedi fy nghyflogi, ac yr wyf finnau wedi dod yn offeiriad iddo."
5A ka mea ratou ki a ia, Tena, ui atu ki te Atua kia mohio ai matou ka tika ranei to matou ara e haere nei matou.
5 Dywedasant wrtho, "Gofyn i Dduw, inni gael gwybod a lwyddwn ar ein taith."
6Na ka mea te tohunga ki a ratou, Haere marie, kei te aroaro o Ihowa to koutou ara e haere na koutou.
6 Dywedodd yr offeiriad wrthynt, "Ewch mewn heddwch; y mae'ch taith dan ofal yr ARGLWYDD."
7¶ Na ka haere aua tangata tokorima, ka tae ki Raihi, a ka kite i nga tangata o reira, i te pai o ta ratou noho, rite tonu ki a nga Haironi, te ata noho, te mau; kahore hoki he tangata whai mana o te whenua hei mea kia whakama ratou ki tetahi mea, a e matara mai ana ratou i nga Haironi, kahore hoki a ratou aha ki tetahi tangata.
7 Aeth y pump i ffwrdd, a chyrraedd Lais. Yno gwelsant fod y bobl yn byw'n ddiogel, yr un fath �'r Sidoniaid, yn dawel a dibryder, heb fod yn brin o ddim ar y ddaear, ond yn berchnogion ar gyfoeth. Yr oeddent yn bell oddi wrth y Sidoniaid, heb gysylltiad rhyngddynt a neb.
8Na ka tae ratou ki o ratou tuakana, ki Toraha, ki Ehetaoro; a ka mea o ratou tuakana ki a ratou, He aha ta koutou korero?
8 Wedi iddynt ddychwelyd at eu pobl i Sora ac Estaol, gofynnodd eu pobl, "Beth yw'ch barn?"
9Katahi ratou ka mea atu, Whakatika, kia whakaekea ratou e tatou; kua kite hoki matou i te whenua, na he pai rawa; a me ata noho ano ranei koutou? kaua ra e mangere, ki te haere ki te tango i tera whenua:
9 Ac meddent hwy, "Dewch, awn i fyny yn eu herbyn, oherwydd gwelsom fod y wlad yn ffrwythlon iawn. Pam yr ydych yn sefyllian? Peidiwch ag oedi mynd yno i gymryd meddiant o'r wlad.
10Ka haere koutou, ka tae atu koutou ki tetahi iwi e noho tatu ana, a he nui hoki te whenua; kua homai nei hoki e te Atua ki o koutou ringa; he wahi, kahore nei i hapa i tetahi mea o te whenua.
10 Pan ddewch yno, byddwch yn dod at bobl ddibryder ac i wlad eang; yn wir y mae Duw wedi rhoi i chwi le heb ynddo brinder o ddim ar y ddaear."
11Na turia atu ana i reira e te hapu o nga Rani, i roto i Toraha, i Ehetaoro, e ono rau tangata, whitiki rawa ki nga rakau o te whawhai.
11 Felly cychwynnodd chwe chant o wu375?r arfog yn perthyn i lwyth Dan o Sora ac Estaol.
12Na ka haere ratou, a ka pupahi ki Kiriata Tearimi, ki Hura; koia i huaina ai te ingoa o tera wahi, ko Mahanerana a mohoa noa nei: koia tena i tua atu o Kiriata Tearimi.
12 Aethant a gwersyllu yn Ciriath-jearim yn Jwda, a dyna pam yr enwyd y lle hwnnw Mahane-dan hyd heddiw; y mae i'r gorllewin o Ciriath-jearim.
13Na, i haere atu ratou i reira ki te whenua pukepuke o Eparaima, a ka tae ki te whare o Mika.
13 Oddi yno aethant ymlaen i fynydd-dir Effraim nes dod at du375? Mica.
14¶ Na ko te ohonga o nga tangata tokorima i haere nei ki te tutei i te whenua o Raihi, ka mea ki o ratou tuakana, E mohio ana ranei koutou kei enei whare he epora, he terapimi, he whakapakoko whaowhao, me tetahi mea whakarewa? na ma koutou te whaka aro ki ta koutou e mea ai.
14 Yna dywedodd y pump, a oedd wedi mynd i ysb�o'r wlad cyn belled � Lais, wrth eu brodyr, "A wyddoch chwi fod effod, teraffim, cerfddelw a delw dawdd yn un o'r tai hyn? Gwyddoch beth i'w wneud yn awr."
15Na ka peka ratou ki reira, a ka tae ki te whare o taua taitamariki, o te Riwaiti, ara ki te whare o Mika, a oha atu ana ki a ia.
15 Troesant am y lle, a dod at du375? Mica, cartref y llanc o Lefiad, a'i gyfarch.
16A, ko nga tangata e ono rau o nga tama a Rana me a ratou rakau whawhai, tu tonu i te tomokanga o te kuwaha.
16 Safodd y chwe channwr arfog o lwyth Dan wrth y drws,
17Na haere atu ana nga tangata tokorima i haere ra ki te tutei i te whenua, a ka tae ki reira; kei te tango i te whakapakoko whakairo, i te epora, i nga terapimi, i te whakapakoko hoki i whakarewaina: na ko te tohunga i te tomokanga ki te kuwaha e tu ana, ratou ko nga tangata e ono rau, me a ratou rakau whawhai, whitiki tonu.
17 tra aeth y pum dyn oedd wedi bod yn ysb�o'r wlad i mewn i gymryd y gerfddelw, yr effod, y teraffim a'r ddelw dawdd. Safai'r offeiriad wrth y drws gyda'r chwe channwr arfog.
18A, no te haerenga o era ki te whare o Mika, no te tangohanga i te whakapakoko whakairo, i te epora, i nga terapimi, i te mea hoki i whakarewaina, ka mea te tohunga ki a ratou, E aha ana koutou?
18 Wedi i'r rhain fynd i mewn i du375? Mica a chymryd y gerfddelw, yr effod, y teraffim a'r ddelw dawdd, dywedodd yr offeiriad wrthynt, "Beth ydych yn ei wneud?"
19Ano ra ko ratou ki a ia, Whakarongoa, kopania atu tou ringa ki tou mangai, a haere mai tatou, hei matua hoki koe mo matou, hei tohunga. Ko tehea te mea pai? kia waiho koe hei tohunga mo te whare o te tangata kotahi, kia waiho ranei hei tohunga m o tetahi iwi, mo tetahi hapu hoki o Iharaira?
19 Dywedasant hwythau wrtho, "Taw di, a phaid � dweud dim. Tyrd gyda ni, a bydd yn dad ac yn offeiriad i ni. Prun sydd orau, ai bod yn offeiriad i un teulu, ynteu'n offeiriad i lwyth a thylwyth yn Israel?"
20Na ka koa te ngakau o te tohunga, a ka mau ia ki te epora, ki nga terapimi, ki te whakapakoko whakairo, a haere ana i roto i taua hunga.
20 Bodlonodd yr offeiriad a chymerodd yr effod, y teraffim a'r gerfddelw, ac ymuno �'r fintai.
21Katahi ratou ka tahuri, ka haere; a maka ana e ratou nga tamariki, nga kararehe, me nga taonga ki mua i a ratou.
21 Wedi iddynt ailgychwyn, gosodasant y rhai bychain a'r preiddiau a'r meddiannau ar y blaen.
22Ka matara atu ratou i te whare o Mika, na ka huihuia nga tangata o nga whare i tata ki te whare o Mika, a ka mau atu i a ratou nga tama a Rana.
22 Yr oeddent wedi mynd gryn bellter o du375? Mica cyn i'r dynion yn y tai gerllaw ei gartref gael eu galw ynghyd i ymlid y Daniaid.
23Na ka karanga ratou ki nga tama a Rana. A ka tahuri mai nga aroaro o era, ka mea ki a Mika, He aha tau i huihui tangata mai ai koe?
23 Wedi iddynt oddiweddyd y Daniaid, troesant hwythau i'w hwynebu, ac meddent wrth Mica, "Beth sy'n bod, i beri iti ddod �'r fath fintai?"
24Na ka mea ia, Kua tangohia atu ra e koutou aku atua i hanga ai, me te tohunga, a kua haere atu; a he aha atu ano taku? he aha hoki kia ki mai koutou ki ahau, He aha tau?
24 Atebodd Mica, "Yr ydych wedi cymryd y duwiau a wneuthum, ac wedi mynd �'m hoffeiriad; a beth arall sydd gennyf? Sut felly y gallwch ofyn imi, 'Beth sy'n bod arnat?'"
25A ka mea nga tama a Rana ki a ia, Kei rangona tou reo e matou, kei torere atu ki a koe te hunga ngakau aritarita, a ka mate koe me tou whare katoa.
25 Ac meddai'r Daniaid wrtho, "Paid � chodi dy lais arnom, rhag i ddynion gwyllt eu tymer ruthro arnoch, ac i ti a'th deulu golli'ch bywyd."
26Na haere ana nga tama a Rana i to ratou ara, i te kitenga hoki o Mika he kaha rawa ratou i a ia, ka tahuri ia, a hoki ana ki tona whare.
26 Yna aeth y Daniaid ar eu ffordd, a gwelodd Mica eu bod yn gryfach nag ef, a throes yn �l a mynd adref.
27¶ A maua atu ana e ratou nga mea i hanga e Mika, me te tohunga i noho ki a ia, a haere ana ki Raihi, ki tetahi iwi e ata noho ana, kahore ona whakaohooho; na patua iho e ratou ki te mata o te hoari, tahuna ake hoki e ratou te pa ki te ahi.
27 Cymerodd y Daniaid y pethau yr oedd Mica wedi eu gwneud, a'i offeiriad, ac aethant i Lais, at bobl dawel a dibryder, a'u lladd �'r cleddyf a llosgi'r dref.
28Kahore hoki he tangata hei whakaora; no te mea he matara a reira i Harona, kahore ano a ratou aha ki tetahi tangata: i te raorao hoki a reira, i Peterehopo. Na hanga ana e ratou te pa, a noho ana i reira.
28 Nid oedd neb i'w harbed, oherwydd yr oedd yn rhy bell o Sidon, ac nid oedd ganddynt gysylltiad � neb. Yr oedd y dref mewn dyffryn yn perthyn i Beth-rehob, ac ailgododd y Daniaid y dref a byw ynddi,
29A huaina ana e ratou te ingoa o te pa ko Rana, ko te ingoa o to ratou matua, o Rana, i whanau nei ma Iharaira: ko Raihi ia te ingoa o te pa i mua.
29 a'i galw'n Dan ar �l eu tad Dan, a aned i Israel. Ond Lais oedd enw'r dref ar y cyntaf.
30Na whakaturia ana e nga tama a Rana mo ratou te whakapakoko whaowhao, a ko Honatana hoki tama a Kerehoma, tama a Mohi, ratou ko ana tama nga tohunga o te iwi o nga Rana tae noa ki te ra i whakaraua ai te whenua.
30 Gosododd y Daniaid y gerfddelw i fyny, a bu Jonathan fab Gersom, fab Manasse, ac yna'i feibion, yn offeiriaid i lwyth Dan hyd y dydd y caethgludwyd y wlad.
31A tu tonu ta ratou whakapakoko whakairo, ta Mika i hanga ra, i nga ra katoa o te whare o te Atua i Hiro.
